Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough – Chapter 105

105 Future Plans

Chapter 105: Future Plans!

“Master level Alchemist!?” No matter how little Feng Chen knew about alchemy, he still knew what a Master level Alchemist meant!

Someone at that level had reached the peak of Alchemy on the Ewaria continent. No matter where they went, every empire, royal clan or sect would welcome them with open arms and even try their best to attract them with all sorts of lucrative resources and spirit stones.

The fact that they had gotten their hands on the notebook of a possible master level alchemist was something that would most definitely help the Alchemy Hall of the Flying Sword Sect increase in strength. Maybe they would even get an Artisan level Alchemist in the future!

“Are you sure about this…?” Calming down after thinking about what such a thing could mean for the future development of the sect, Feng Chen asked Wan Qiu in a both excited and at the same time serious voice.

“Yes! I’m already at the peak of the expert alchemist realm and I can say for sure that whoever wrote down this is way above me when it comes to alchemy!” Not flinching for even a second Wan Qiu explained in an incredibly excited tone, focusing her attention on the notebook in her hands the entire time.

“That’s great! Do you think you will be able to find something that can help deal with the plague in here?” Smiling happily upon hearing the confirmation, Feng Chen asked in a still excited voice filled with anticipation.

Wan Qiu called down a bit the moment that she heard Feng Chen’s question, as she started to inspect the Notebook of Kubera once again to try and see if she could find something that could be used.

“Hm… I think we should be able to do it with some time, but I will have to ask some of the other elders from the Alchemy Hall for help first… At the very least, it should be better than the cure we were just about to try and make.”

“That’s great! Go on then, don’t mind me and just go find some of the other elders of the Alchemy Hall for help!” Hearing that there was a better chance at finding a cure for the plague, Feng Chen happily encouraged Wan Qiu as she soon disappeared deeper into the Alchemy Hall to find the other elders of the Alchemy Hall.

Seeing her leave, Feng Chen turned around and left the Alchemy Hall, for now he had to contact the other Core Elders and find out about how they should deal with the fact that a giant power like the Church of the Plague God was eyeing the Heavenly Sky Kingdom…

At the same time that the Sect Master Feng Chen was showing the Notebook of Kubera to the elder of the alchemy hall Wan Qiu, Qing Yi had made her way over to the alchemy hall together with senior Yu.

“W-what is happening here!?” Looking at the current chaos happening inside of the alchemy hall, Qing Yi felt slightly baffled, as she had not seen the place like this before, last time she came here to pick up books, the entire place had looked almost completely deserted! Nothing like the current state, filled with all kinds of people.

“Ah, you have not been here recently due to the apprentice training being suspended and not having a reason to come here… Well, it is due to the plague. The Alchemy Hall has poured most of its resources towards trying to develop a cure and as a result, things have gotten quite busy around here…” Letting out a slightly exhausted smile as he explained this, senior Yu and Qing Yu soon made their way to the library located farther into the alchemy hall.

Compared to the rest of the alchemy hall, the library was quiet, and nobody was running around. The only difference here was that there were others reading through the books fully concentrated at a few spots for reading located throughout the library.

“There should be some books over here that will be useful for you if you are going to participate in an alchemy competition… Most of the time, the alchemy competition tests things like knowledge about herbs and how good the contestant is at making a certain pill or potion.” Walking deeper into the library than before, senior Yu explained to Qing Yi as she quietly followed along with him.

“So, for the books that we will be getting this time will mostly be some books that focuses on different basic pill and potion formulas and The Basic herb encyclopedia. Ah, here it is!” Coming to a stop in front of a bookshelf, senior Yu went forward and pulled out a few different books and handed them over to Qing Yi.

“So… I should just read these and practice some of the potion and pill formulas…?” Looking at the books that senior Yu handed over to her, she looked up questioningly at him.

“Ah, of course not! You should try to make some time once a week and come to the alchemy hall so that one of the elders at the expert alchemy realm can help and teach you. This way you should be able to improve more!” Talking excitedly about the elders of the alchemy hall, senior Yu explained the plan that the alchemy hall had for her training up to the competition.

“Great! I will explain it to master when he gets back again, I do not think he will say anything to it… After all, it is only once a week and I do have quite a bit of freedom in the first place.” Smiling happily upon hearing that she would be able to train her alchemy skills for free once a week at the alchemy hall, Qing Yi decided to find a way to convince her master to let her do it.

No matter what, Qing Yi was extremely excited at the fact that she would get to train her alchemy skills for free!

No more would she have to waste her own herbs!

Smiling happily at the thought of this, Qing Yi soon left the alchemy hall with the stack of books handed over to her by senior Yu.
