Chapter 1235: Back in the Sect, Introductions to the Fifth Disciple
Spending the next few days travelling through the territory of the Star Shattering Sect together with Chun Hua, Xuan Hao also took the chance to see how well the different independent sects that had decided to join the Star Shattering Sect had been developing. After all, most of the Star Shattering Sect’s territory was managed by the people from these independent sects, as it would have normally been impossible for the current Star Shattering Sect to manage such a large area with only a handful of Domain Lord Realm cultivators of their own.
Luckily, nothing much had changed regarding these independent sects over the years outside of the fact that they had been growing closer to the Star Shattering Sect due to the continued efforts of Elder Song, who had arranged no small number of events and tournaments for the disciples of the different sects to participate in together.
Given enough time and if the Star Shattering Sect continued growing at its current pace, it would only be a matter of time before these independent sects were fully integrated and became a part of the Star Shattering Sect. Especially considering that he had witnessed quite a large number of disciples from the independent sects and the Star Shattering Sect travelling together to complete missions from the Grand Mission Pavilion or one of the branches of the Grand Mission Pavilion that had begun to appear across the territory of the Star Shattering Sect during his absence.
In the end, by the time he and Chun Hua arrived at the Falling Star City at the base of the Ninth Star Peak, Chun Hua had grown more familiar with the territory of the Star Shattering Sect and the different independent sect that existed inside of it. Making her rather surprised over just how much stronger the Star Shattering Sect seemed to have grown since her last time there.
At the same time, she also began to seriously consider some of the information that she had heard among the different disciples of the independent sects about the Star Shattering Sect possibly being an ancient hidden sect that had decided to reveal itself to the world.
Only able to explain the growth of the Star Shattering Sect in this way, considering it unlikely that the Star Shattering Sect was really formed by the merger of two small sects who only had people in the Nascent Soul Realm at the time that they merged together into the Star Shattering Sect!
Of course, Xuan hao was aware of these thoughts and also knew about the different independent sect’s view of the Star Shattering Sect.
However, given that it wasn’t detrimental to the Star Shattering Sect and instead benefited it by making the different independent sects follow the Star Shattering Sect without question, Xuan Hao decided not to correct this misunderstanding. Especially when considering that Elder Song and Feng Chen hadn’t decided to do so either.
Not to mention, with his current strength and the presence of Pei Yang in the sect, it would be hard to convince them that they weren’t a powerful hidden sect. Even more so considering that observing the different independent sects with his divine sense during his and Chun Hua’s journey through the territory of the sect’s territory revealed that some of the elders from the different independent sects had already joined in on some of the lectures in the Star Shattering Sect held by Pei Yang.
Shaking his head as he thought about this, Xuan Hao entered the Falling Star City together with Chun Hua before both of them began heading towards the Ninth Star Peak where the official entrance of the sect was located. Making sure to answer any question Chun Hua had along the way, while also making sure she got a basic introduction to his other disciples. In turn, causing her to grow a bit restless at the realization that she wasn’t the only disciple and would also have a bunch of senior brothers and sisters in the future.
…
Not too unexpected, Chu Yang, Qing Yi, Bai Ning, and Mui managed to discover his return to the sect almost the moment that he and Chun Hua reached the top of the Ninth Star Peak. Soon resulting in his disciples showing up to greet him and Chun Hua-
Whoosh~!
Well almost everyone, as Mui threw herself forward in what seemed to be a flying hug of sorts, causing him to stagger backwards at the sudden impact to not have Mui hurt herself by crashing into him. After all, with his current strength, if he didn’t intentionally move, it would have been the same as Mui throwing herself headfirst into an unmovable wall, something that would have injured her even with her strength in the Core Formation Realm…
“Master! Is this my new junior sister?” Not noticing any of this, Mui just happily hugged him as a show of affection before turning her attention towards her new junior sister. Filled with curiosity about this new junior sister of hers, while at the same time looking forward to no longer being the smallest.
“How come she’s so large…?”
However, different from the little girl she had expected to see, she was met by the towering figure of Chun Hua who was almost the same height as Chu Yang.
When she had first heard that she would be getting a new junior sister, this was not what she had imagined! This junior sister was larger than her in all aspects!
“…”
Noticing the very obvious glare from Mui focused on a very obvious location on Chun Hua, Xuan Hao could not help smiling a bit wryly as he quickly stopped this little troublemaker before Chun Hua noticed the stare of the little one who seemed to be rather jealous of a certain part of her newest junior sister.
At the same time all of this was taking place, Chu Yang narrowed his eyes ever so slightly after carefully sensing the strength of this new junior sister of his.
In terms of cultivation realm, she was no worse than him and he could even sense that she had also established a pseudo domain and seemed to have progressed further than him!
“Chun Hua…” Muttering this to himself as he realized that this new junior sister of his was a perfect training partner and would be able to help him with his practice far better than Qing Yi could in the future, Chu Yang could not help himself as he began approaching her with a smile on his face.
“What happened to you? Where did Chu Yang go!?” However, this sudden change in temperament didn’t escape Qing Yi’s eyes, as she couldn’t help saying this after seeing him come over.
“What do you mean? I’m just happy to meet our new junior sister.”
“Hm? Are you sure that’s it? Not because you noticed this new junior sister of ours is already at the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm and wanted her to join you in the Combat Hall?”
“This…”
Having his intentions seen through in an instant by Qing Yi who had grown rather familiar with them over the past few years due to her being the main person that would train with him in the Combat Hall, Chu Yang could not help freezing on the spot.
“Hehe, looks like this new senior brother of mine is rather fond of fighting. Sure, I will join you in the… Combat Hall after I get settled in.” Chuckling to herself as she said this after seeing the short back and forth between Qing Yi and Chu Yang, Chun Hua happily agreed to join Chu Yang in the Combat Hall for a battle.
Not just because she was curious about how strong the other disciples of her master were, but also because she wanted to use the opportunity to learn more about Chu Yang and in the future, hopefully also the other disciples. Intending to do her best to try and fit in now that she had become Xuan Hao’s disciple.
“You said it! I will make sure you keep your promise in a few days!”
Hearing that Chun Hua agreed to join him for a battle in the Combat Hall, Chu Yang smiled happily as he wasted no time in rushing back in the direction of the Combat Hall to make sure that there was a proper space allocated for their battle in a few days.
“He sure ran off fast… Oh well, let’s continue our conversation from earlier…” Shaking her head as she said this while looking in the direction that Chu Yang had disappeared in, Qing Yi quickly resumed her earlier conversation with Chun Hua while Xuan Hao was busy taking care of Mui and Bai Ning only did a simple introduction before rushing back to the Sea of a Thousand Furnaces in preparation for this new disciple being anywhere similar to Mui.
Even if the chance was low after he learnt a bit about her through the introduction, he didn’t dare take any chances when it came to his blacksmithing and the rest of the blacksmiths of the sect! No matter what, they had to be prepared for another Mui!
