Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough – Chapter 1251

1251 Cautious Demonic Cultivator

Chapter 1251: Cautious Demonic Cultivator

Not aware that someone had secretly snuck past one of the Domain Lord Realm cultivators who was in charge of guarding the borders of the Star Shattering Sect from any demonic cultivators who might try and do just that during the upcoming weeks and months, the Star Shattering Sect as a whole continued to prepare for making use of the demonic cultivators to train their younger disciples.

All the while, the person in question slowly arrived at the edge of the vast open field that surrounded the Shattered Star Peaks on all sides. Staring off in the direction of the Falling Star City that could barely be made out surrounding the base of the Ninth Star peak from where he was standing.

“So, this is where the local power of this place is located? How weird, I thought it would be close to the core region and not so close to the Frozen Wasteland…” Muttering this to himself, the demonic figure didn’t directly approach the Falling Star City, but instead began to examine his surroundings once again for any powerful cultivators.

Acting far more prudent when compared to most demonic cultivators, as he clearly didn’t want to end up accidentally attacking someone who was far stronger than himself, something that was unimaginable under normal circumstances considering that he was by no means weak among demonic cultivators. Having already reached the Peak of the True Demon Realm, the equivalent to the Peak of the Soul Ascension Realm.

By all accounts, he could be considered invincible wherever he went outside the core region of the continent, but he still acted so cautiously, a result of having lived at the edge of death even after he had reached the True Demon Realm. The core of the Frozen Wasteland being far from a safe place, even though it had been considered taboo for those in the True Demon Realm to fight with each other by those in charge of the Frozen Wasteland.

Existences that had caused this demonic cultivator to still keep his current cautious approach to anything he did, lest he ends up accidentally offending an entity comparable to those terrifying demons above him…

“Hm? A demonic cultivator? And one in the True Demon Realm at that… What is this little fellow doing here?”

Unfortunately for the demonic cultivator who thought he had perfectly managed to hide himself as he began the tedious process of trying to figure out how strong the cultivators of the Star Shattering Sect was, Pei Yang just so happened to have taken a rare break to leave the sect and look around the Falling Star City when the divine sense of this demonic cultivator happened to enter the range of his own divine sense.

Although he didn’t deliberately spread out his divine sense nor try to search for the other party, the difference in strength made it impossible for the True Demon Realm cultivator to hide from him.

“Should I inform Xuan Hao about it? Nah, he should be busy cultivating at the moment, and I shouldn’t interrupt him over such a little thing.” Shaking his head as he chuckled a bit to himself while his divine sense spread out and engulfed the demonic cultivator without him even noticing that he had already been found, Pei Yang took a step forward before arriving directly in front of the demonic cultivator.

“Wha-”

Ptsh-!

Not even giving the other party a chance to react, as he directly killed him. Knowing very well that dragging things out might result in something unexpected happening, like the demonic cultivator taking out a powerful talisman or something different that could sway the battle in his favor or help him escape.

Whoosh~!

With the other party dead, Pei Yang didn’t leave immediately, as he grabbed the interspatial ring of the demonic cultivator before starting to curiously look through to see if there was anything of interest inside of it.

“Ah… A teleportation talisman. Indeed, a good idea that I killed this fellow immediately instead of giving him a chance to use it. Outside of that… Let’s see… Demonic cultivation technique, spirit stones, infant blood pills!? Better burn those… Hm… More spirit stones, a novel called two tips meet? Interesting taste… And- Hm?”

Looking through the interspatial ring of the demonic cultivator and the many demonic things in his possession, along with spirit stones and other things more normal that should have been seized from cultivators he had killed not too long ago, Pei Yang could not help frowning when he noticed a certain small piece of paper.

On it, there were clear instructions for invading the outer regions of the Onyx Empire and other surrounding empires bordering the Frozen Wasteland.

Although the information in question wasn’t that hard to understand, the implication behind it made a shiver run down Pei Yang’s spine, as he understood that the flood of demonic cultivators that had come swarming into the empires around the Frozen Wastelands wasn’t an accident, but instead something that had been caused by someone on purpose.

Not just that, but from the fact that it seemed like the demonic cultivator at the Peak of the True Demon Realm had been commanded to help out in case stronger cultivators tried to interfere with the weaker demonic cultivators causing havoc, he could tell that the demonic cultivators behind this was above the True Demon Realm. Having at least reached the Demon Lord Realm that was comparable to the Dao Seed Realm.

No, not just the Demon Lord Realm, as the chaos caused by the demonic cultivators of the Frozen Wasteland had spread far beyond the Onyx Empire and few other empires mentioned on the paper.

For someone to have the ability to command so many demonic cultivators, it could only be a demonic cultivator that had managed to reach the Demon King Realm, a realm that he himself had only ever heard about in rumors during his travels across the central region of the continent, an existence among demonic cultivators who stood at the same level as those in the Celestial Immortal Realm!

“Looks like the situation regarding the Frozen Wasteland might be far more troublesome than a simple chaotic situation in the core of the Frozen Wasteland forcing the weaker demonic cultivators to flee in all directions to keep themselves save…” Muttering this to himself as he realized this, Pei Yang could not help frowning as he turned to look back in the direction of the Star Shattering Sect.

“I should inform Xuan Hao about the situation and see if we can come up with a way to avoid getting dragged into whatever plan those demonic cultivators are cooking up…”

Whoosh~!

Not wasting any time after this, Pei Yang rushed back towards the Star Shattering Sect to discuss the situation with Xuan Hao. Leaving no traces of the demonic cultivator who had not even managed to say a word before he died.

Not long after Pei Yang visited Xuan Hao met up, they both ended up coming to the simple agreement that they would do nothing. Not just because they wanted to avoid drawing any unnecessary attention towards the Star Shattering Sect, but also because the situation regarding the demonic cultivators of the Frozen Wasteland simply wasn’t anything they could interfere with.

The Frozen Wasteland covered an area that was far larger than a hundred Sky Empire’s put together and bordered hundreds of different empires, big and small.

Instead of them trying to find out what the plans of these demonic cultivators was, and try to prevent the Star Shattering Sect from getting dragged into it, it would be better for them to just wait and see while ensuring the safety of the Star Shattering Sect from any of the demonic cultivators that might end up heading their way without them revealing their strength.

This way, they would at least be able to keep the Star Shattering Sect out of the attention of the more powerful demonic cultivators for some time.

Although not a permanent solution, the time they bought this way would at least give the Star Shattering Sect time to grow, while at the same time also giving those larger empires bordering the Frozen Wasteland time to test out the waters.

After all, among the empires who bordered the Frozen Wasteland, a few of them did have the backing of someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm.

For empires like this, it would only be a matter of time before they lost their patience with the flood of demonic cultivators and decided to take action to prevent their empires from sustaining any unnecessary damage- Or that was at least what Pei Yang felt would happen.

For now, they could only try and make best use of the situation and use the constant stream of demonic cultivators that would soon arrive, as a training opportunity for the disciples of the sect.

In case of stronger demonic cultivators appeared, the elders of the sect would be in charge of dealing with them and ensuring that nothing happened to the disciples.
