Chapter 1311: Peak of the Profound Immortal Realm
Finished reading through the book on the Saint Realm, Xuan Hao placed it inside his interspatial ring with the rest of the things he had bought inside the tower of secrets so he could place it in the sect’s library when he left the mystic realm in the future.
“And… That was the last of my celestial coins…” Muttering this to himself as he looked down at his interspatial ring, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a bit depressed when remembering all the powerful techniques located at the third floor of the tower.
If he wanted to have a chance of getting one of those techniques in the future, he would have to clear at least another three celestial trials… And that was only if they ended up giving as many celestial coins as the fourth celestial trail had given him, something Xuan Hao understood would be impossible unless he ended up entering a similarly life-threatening situation as the one, he had experienced during the fourth celestial trial.
At least for now, it looked like he wouldn’t get an opportunity to browse the tower of secrets after he left.
So, with that in mind, Xuan Hao decided to take the opportunity to check out the cultivation information library that the preservation golem had mentioned before leaving. Feeling curious about the insights that were stored inside.
After all, even though he hadn’t really encountered any bottleneck so to speak and the problem of how to advance to the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm had also been solved, the insights of past seniors would always be helpful in the process of improving his own comprehension.
Of course, he currently did not have any celestial coins left and couldn’t get any of the insights written by the past seniors of the Mirage Sect…
Arriving inside a relatively small hall that seemed to not fit in with the overall circular structure of the tower, Xuan Hao could not help opening his eyes wide as he realized that he had just walked into a small separate space that had been carved out inside the already expanded space of the tower of secrets.
The insight into the Dao of Space required to do something like this was far beyond anything he had encountered so far and made Xuan Hao seriously wonder how high his comprehension of the Dao of Space would need to be to do something similar, let alone add these effects to a formation
In the end, Xuan Hao didn’t even pay attention to the countless simple scrolls that were lined up along the walls of the small hall, as he instead just focused his full attention on how the Dao of Space was being applied to open the small independent space that the hall was located inside of.
The only unfortunate thing was the fact that the formation covering the tower of secrets made it impossible to release his divine sense to do an in-depth examination of the space inside the small hall.
Not because it stopped his divine sense from being released, but more so because the formation had used some kind protective measure that prevented him from investigating how the Dao of Space was being applied. Only allowing him to feel it in person.
Then again, it was something understandable, considering that he would be able to circumvent the formation if he could understand how the space inside the tower of secrets was constructed.
Doing so by either unraveling the formation by messing with the space itself or stealing from the tower of secrets.
Is what he wanted to say, but his current strength was far too weak to accomplish either of those things, as he would be far too slow to do this before the formation in place either killed him or destroyed the books and scrolls inside the tower to prevent anything from being stolen. Not to mention, he wasn’t sure whether or not there were other ways that the tower of secrets ensured that nothing was stolen, and nothing happened to the tower.
However, considering that the unraveling of the formation by messing with the space it was constructed in should be a rather easy flaw to think of Xuan Hao guessed that there should be measures in place to prevent something like that from happening. Especially considering that anyone entering the tower of secrets who had comprehended the Dao of Space to the Small Success Realm would be able to understand the space inside of it with enough time and think of ways to unravel or destroy it.
Shaking his head as he thought about this, Xuan Hao decided to find a place to sit down and comprehend the Dao of space inside the small hall, still completely ignoring the countless scrolls lined up at the side of the small hall.
Partly because he had his full attention focused on comprehending the Dao of Space after finding out that doing so would be beneficial to deepening his understanding, but also because he had managed to catch a glimpse of the prices of the different scrolls lined up alongside the walls of the small hall-
[Insight into the Star Creation Realm, by the Red Star Immortal]
[Price: 750 Celestial Coins]
[Insight into the Land Creation Realm, by the Scarlet Lover, Yi Lin]
[Price: 300 Celestial Coins]
[Insight into the…]
And to say it scared him was an understatement, as even the expensive techniques located on the third floor of the tower seemed cheap in comparison.
A silver underling was the fact that he managed to learn about the name of the fourth and final minor realm of the Profound Immortal Realm, the Star Creation Realm.
Although he still had absolutely no clue what the realm was about, he at least had something to go on for now… And if heard anything about something related to the Star Creation Realm in the future, he would know that it was about the Peak of the Profound Immortal Realm.
Going back to comprehending the Dao of Space after this, Xuan Hao fully immersed himself in the experience of feeling the space around his body.
Considering that the safety measures he left with Mui were connected to his soul to some extent, he wasn’t worried about not knowing if she ended up in danger without him knowing. Allowing him to peacefully comprehend the Dao of Space without any worries.
Like this, time flew and soon a week had passed since he had stepped foot inside the small hall filled with the cultivation insights of different seniors from the Mirage Sect before he once again opened his eyes.
Of course, the reason why he opened his eyes again wasn’t because he wanted to-
“Time limit of one week has been reached. If the trial participant decides to stay any longer without buying another technique, one celestial coin will be deducted for another week. Failure to pay will result in immediate expulsion from the tower of secrets.”
“Huh?”
“No celestial coins were detected in the balance of the trial participant. Proceeding with forceful expulsion of the trial participant.”
Whoosh-!
Instead, it was because the preservation golem that had been silently standing beside him for the last week without doing anything suddenly kicked him out of the tower of secrets before he even had the time to get up from where he was sitting.
In simple terms, he barely opened his eyes before a black void swallowed him whole and spit him out a few meters away from the entrance to the tower of secrets…
“Talk about rude…” Dusting off his robe as he got up on his feet, Xuan Hao could not help feeling wronged as he looked over at the preservation golem that had already appeared in front of the entrance to the tower of secrets.
Although he was unwilling to give up on the opportunity to continue comprehending the space inside the tower of secrets, he also understood that it would be impossible for him to do so without any celestial coins at hand.
At the very least, during the week he had managed to spend inside the cultivation information library where the insight of past seniors was stored, his comprehension of the Dao of Space had already started reaching the limits of the Small Success Realm. Starting to show signs of him breaking through to the Large Success Realm.
As long as he spent a bit of time solidifying what he had managed to learn over the past week, he should be able to reach the Large Success Realm in the Dao of Space. Bringing him a step closer to the now distant goal that was the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, while at the same time also getting him closer to fulfilling one of the requirements for awakening his physique.
“Guess, I should go and check up on Mui first… ”
However, before that, Xuan Hao decided to first go and check up on Mui and see how she was faring by herself inside the mystic realm.
