Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough – Chapter 1326

1326 Back in the Sect Again

Chapter 1326: Back in the Sect Again

Returning back to the Star Shattering Sect together with Mui, Xuan Hao barely landed on the ground before the little girl ran off to somewhere. Likely intent on showing off how much she had improved during her time in the mystic realm and sharing her adventures with the rest of his disciples.

Xuan Hao didn’t really mind this, as he instead made his way to find Feng Chen and caught up on the details of the current state of the sect and what had happened during the time he had spent in the Mystic Realm. After all, there was only so much he could be told about the situation through his brief conversations beforehand.

During this, he also learnt about the fact that outside of just flying through the territory of the Star Shattering Sect in search of demonic cultivators, it also seemed that some of the cultivators from the Blue Sea Empire had been searching for something.

Although, given that these cultivators from the Blue Sea Empire hadn’t really barged into the Star Shattering Sect or caused any problems with this search that seemed to be mostly focused on the remote areas of the sect’s territory, Feng Chen didn’t feel that it was that important.

After all, if it didn’t involve the Star Shattering Sect, there was no reason for him to try and risk investigating the powerful cultivators from the Blue Sea Empire, as the chance of doing that ran the risk of offending the Blue Sea Empire, something that he and the rest of the sect’s elders wanted to avoid.

On the other hand, unlike Feng Chen and the rest of the elders that didn’t seem too worried about the Blue Sea Empire’s cultivators searching through the remote areas under the sect’s control, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a bit uneasy.

Not so much because he believed that the cultivators of the Blue Sea Empire were planning to attack the Star Shattering Sect or something along that line, as they would have done so long ago if they intended to do it, but instead because he guessed that these powerful cultivators from the Blue Sea Empire might be looking for Pei Yang.

Though it was highly unlikely, there was still a chance that some traces had been left behind during their escape allowing the Blue Sea Empire to guess the general direction that they had left the Blue Sea Empire in back then.

At the very least, it could be seen that they shouldn’t be suspecting the Star Shattering Sect or any power for that matter, for hiding Pei Yang. Instead having turned to look through the remote and isolated regions that would make good hiding locations.

Of course, it was far more likely that they weren’t searching for Pei Yang and had instead just been trying to track down a demonic cultivator that had somehow managed to hide away around the territory of the Star Shattering Sect…

Even then, Xuan Hao decided to be on the safe side and informed Pei Yang about his worries after finishing his conversation about the sect’s current state with Feng Chen.

After which, Xuan Hao didn’t have much to do and decided to spend his time catching up on a few of the things that he had put on the sideline so far. Among these, the one that came to mind first was to find the former elder from the Flame Sky Kingdom that he had originally planned to visit in the past but had always found himself busy with other things before he could do so.

One of the reasons for this was that he had managed to learn that she was not only knowledgeable on the ancient language that he was still in the process of trying to learn about, but also the fact that she had once been a follower of the Lord Kubera whose alchemy notes he had encountered in the past and suspected to be at least someone at the Master Realm with a cultivation base in the Domain Lord Realm or above.

Of course, with his current strength, someone in the Domain Lord Realm… And even someone in the Master Realm in Alchemy wasn’t that impressive. Instead, the main thing that intrigued him about this Lord Kubera was the fact that he had seemingly vanished into thin air after having established a single successful city with no traces of him outside of that city and the notebook he had left behind.

The only clue he had to finding out what happened to this mysterious alchemist was the former elder of the Flame Sky Kingdom, Sheng Mei.

Whoosh~!

So, with that as the first objective on his to do list, Xuan Hao used his vast divine sense to comb through the entire sect before finding Sheng Mei busy reading through a large stack of books inside the sect’s library.

Looking closer, he discovered that all of these books were all historical records. More precisely, they all seemed to be around the same period of time.

But outside of that, he couldn’t really gleam anything specific from the books that she was reading through, as they all seemed to be from the perspective of weaker cultivators or even mortals. Not really giving him a good idea about what she was looking for if she was looking for something in that period of time.

“Guess I should wait a bit for her to finish. Now… What to do while waiting? Perhaps spend some time trying to understand those damnable notes from that sky watcher guy…?” Muttering this to himself as he silently moved to the library and found a spot to sit down and read not too far away from where Sheng Mei was currently sitting, Xuan Hao took out a now all too familiar book.

The Sky Watcher’s forgotten notes relating to celestial bodies.

A book he had grown to fear over time, as its complexity far surpassed anything he had encountered before.

Be it in an ancient language or one that he fully understood, Xuan Hao had a feeling that it wouldn’t make much of a difference in trying to understand what was written in the notes contained in the book. Even after they had been sorted out by the system.

At first, he didn’t understand why this was the case, but as his strength continued to grow and as his understanding of different Daos continued to deepen with his increase in strength, he slowly began to understand why.

To understand the content in the notes compiled inside of the book, he would need a corresponding realm of comprehension… And with his current understanding, there he could only slowly try and understand what was written in the notes. The only negative part about this was the fact that he had only managed to under three words so far…

Of course, that was not to say that reading through the notes and trying to understand them was without merit, as reading through it did allow him to understand what kind of Daos were related to the notes. Even helping him to some extent with comprehending these Daos if he focused on the specific part of the notes related to them.

In the end, so far, he had managed to notice a total of three different Daos from the notes, the Dao of Space, the Dao of Fire and the Dao of Light. All three of them Daos that he himself had already comprehended. Making him wonder if the reason he couldn’t find other Daos might be because he first needed to comprehend them to feel their presence in the notes.

Of course, although he would have loved to try and do something like that in the past by comprehending new Daos that were related to the three that he had already knew were present in the notes, he didn’t dare to do so now that he had understood how dangerous it would be for him if he wanted to reach the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm.

So, with that in mind, Xuan Hao began to read through the ancient notes, something he had already gotten used to whenever he had time to spare and didn’t want to use it on cultivating and wanted a more relax way to still continue increasing his comprehension of the Dao of Space that he was currently focusing all of his attention on-

“Those damn notes even if sorted like this, they are far beyond my capabilities to understand…”

Not that it stopped from occasionally cursing in annoyance when faced with the sheer complexity of the notes that seemed to look no different from a normal book on the surface.

Luckily for Xuan Hao, he didn’t have to wait around for too long, as Sheng Mei soon got up and began making her way out of the library. Giving him a perfect chance to approach her and have a conversation with her about the ancient language and Lord Kubera.

As for why he didn’t just directly approach her on the spot with his identity as a Grand Elder… That was because he didn’t want to reveal his identity to her and instead just wanted to talk to her in a more normal manner.

After all, as time went by and his identity as a senior figure became more cemented, it became more difficult for him to speak normally with newer elders who hadn’t been around before the establishment of the Star Shattering Sect without them getting rather nervous. Not that he would blame them considering the difference in strength…
