Three months earlier, before Chu Yang emerged from his seclusion and was still busy comprehending the Dao of the Spear, back in the Star Shattering Sect, his master was looking down at a small formation engraved into the ground at the Eighth Star Peak, a look of happiness clearly present on his face as he looked down at the formation.
“Finally succeeded… With this, I should be able to lay out a simple network of teleportation formations throughout the Shattered Star Peaks. Making it far easier for those disciples and elders below the Domain Lord Realm to traverse the Shattered Star Peaks…” Smiling to himself as he said this while looking down at the teleportation formation on the ground in front of him, Xuan Hao took a step forward and stepped into the center of the formation before using his qi to activate it. Soon enough, he found himself teleported to a small garden attached to the side of his palace on the Seventh Star Peak.
After a long time, he had finally managed to succeed in setting up a working teleportation formation.
Not just that, but after linking it together with the chaotic qi formation that already covered the Shattered Star Peaks, he would be able to use the abundant qi created by the formation to power the teleportation formations on the Shattered Star Peaks. Making it essentially costs nothing for the Star Shattering Sect to use the teleportation formations inside the Shattered Star Peaks.
The main problem came with the fact that the distance he could cover with his current skill in creating teleportation formations was far from the same level as what the ancient teleportation formation he had used to draw inspiration from.
Even then, the current size of the Star Shattering Sect’s territory was not that big when compared to the distance that could be covered by the ancient teleportation formation in the Half Spirit Race’s old home.
He didn’t need to cover the distance between the Star Shattering Sect and the Core Region of the Continent at the moment, covering the current territory of the Star Shattering Sect was more than enough.
Luckily, he was at least capable of doing that much with his current understanding of the teleportation formations.
The main limiting factor in making a network of teleportation formations to cover the entirety of the Star Shattering Sect’s current territory, was the fact that there was a limited number of space node stone available at the moment… And the fact that the spirit stones required to activate the teleportation formations not directly connected to the chaotic qi gathering formation was simply not something the current Star Shattering Sect could handle.
Instead of that, outside of the teleportation formation network that would be laid down throughout the Shattered Star Peaks, Xuan Hao decided to only lay down a few other teleportation formations connecting to some of the more important locations for the Star Shattering Sect and have them directly connect back to the Star Shattering Sect itself.
Of course, to prevent any kind of situation of someone directly entering the Star Shattering Sect or sneaking inside the sect by using these teleportation formations, he decided to create a location at the base of the Ninth Star Peak to create a small hub for these teleportation formations to connect without entering the true core of the sect.
To access the internal teleportation network of the sect, one would at least have to make their way up the Ninth Star Peak. Having to pass through a second layer of the formation beforehand that Xuan Hao quickly established after confirming his plans for the teleportation formations.
As he set out to carry all of this out over the next few days, Xuan Hao made sure to inform both Elder Song and Feng Chen about his plans. Having them lend a hand and assist in helping select different locations for the teleportation formations to be located.
In the end, after working day and night for a little over a week, the internal teleportation network of the Star Shattering Sect was fully established and unveiled to the rest of the disciples and elders of the sect, who were overjoyed at the convince brought by this teleportation network and quickly began to make full use of it. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
The next part of the teleportation network that would be connecting locations outside of the Shattered Star Peaks to the main sect took a bit longer to arrange, as the distance covered was larger for these teleportation formations, the complexity of the teleportation formations required was also far higher compared to the ones inside the Shattered Star Peaks that at most covered a distance of a few hundred kilometers.
Of course, Xuan Hao didn’t give up because of this and instead took the opportunity to slowly construct these far more complicated teleportation formations and increase his comprehension of both the Dao of Space and the Dao of Formations in the process.
The first long distance teleportation formation, connecting the Shattered Star Peaks to the active battlefield with the demonic cultivators at the borders of the sect’s territory, took around half a month to complete.
Following the first, the second long distance teleportation formation was constructed at the Iron Sky Kingdom. Taking only a little over a week to complete… And other similarly strategically important formations were soon established in an increasingly fast manner, as Xuan Hao’s skill in constructing teleportation formation increased.
As the three-month mark from the start of the construction of teleportation formations began, it came to an end.
Not because all the important locations of the sect had been successfully connected back to the Shattered Star Peaks with teleportation formations, but more so because the number of space node stones available were starting to run low… And more importantly, the number of teleportation formations connected to the chaotic qi formation had reached a limit.
With that in mind, Xuan Hao could only stop continuing to set up more teleportation formations at the moment, as adding any more to the already complex structure of the chaotic qi formation would undoubtedly cause it to grow unstable and seriously impact what could be considered the most important foundation of the Star Shattering Sect.
Even then, with several major teleportation formations now active across the territory of the Star Shattering Sect and far easier transport of important resources like spiritual metals, the efficiency of the sect increased by several times compared to before, as the growth of both the disciples of the sect also similarly increased.
Although… The main reason for the increased growth of the disciples and elders of the sect was mostly due to the teleportation formation now connecting directly to the battlefield with the demonic cultivators. Allowing them to easily reach the battlefield in a few minutes instead of the weeklong trip back and forth that would normally take them whenever they returned from the battlefield to use their contribution points on something or enter seclusion to comprehend something they had understood during battle and wanted to spend more time pondering on back at the sect.
Outside of the disciples and elders who saw the most obvious benefit from having their travel time essentially reduced down from weeks to a few minutes, the disciples of the Formation Hall, that had grown explosively over the past few months, had all seemingly gathered religiously around the different teleportation formations inside of the sect to study them up close.
The magical effect of the teleportation formation was clear to these disciples and elders studying the art of formations… And because of this, they wanted nothing more than to learn how to create such magical formations themselves.
In the end, this resulted in everyone using the teleportation formations inside of the sect always being met with the rather surprising sight of the Formation Hall Elders and Disciples every time they stepped through one of the teleportation formations.
Although… After the first few days of things being like this, the rest of the sect quickly got used to the Formation Hall and their obsession with studying the teleportation formations.
Even though it did end up having a somewhat negative impact on the Formation Hall, as their explosive growth during the past few months ended up ending abruptly shortly after the introduction of the teleportation formations.
Whether this was due to the image of the Formation Hall becoming rather interesting due to their wholehearted obsession studying the teleportation formations or something done by the Blacksmithing Hall and Alchemy Hall as revenge for what had happened in the past was not something the ordinary elders and disciples of the sect were privy to.
All things considered, the sect was progressing rapidly and outside of the normal elders and disciples of the sect, the ones who managed to make the most of the influx of resources following the introduction of the teleportation formations was none other than the Blacksmithing Hall- Or more specifically, Xuan Hao’s third disciple, Bai Ning, who now had full access to all of the sect’s spiritual metal deposits.
