Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough – Chapter 146

146 The use of Moon Silver

Chapter 146: The use of Moon Silver

“Who do you think this grandpa Song is?” Turning over to look at Qing Yi, Chu Yang who had remained silent during the earlier conversation asked with a curious look in his eyes.

“Hm… From what the young girl said, he should be an elder of the sect.” Thinking about it for a moment, Qing Yi looked in the direction of the elder pavilion that the young girl had told them to go and look for her grandpa Song.

The Elder Pavilion of the Flying Sword Sect was located at the centre of the sect itself and was the place that most of the elders of the Flying Sword Sect spent their time whenever they were not cultivating or teaching the disciples of the sect.

Over time, the Elder Pavilion had expanded to make space for the many elders of the Flying Sword Sect that came to socialize with the other elders.

Qing Yi and Chu Yang both knew about the Elder Pavilion from their master, who had introduced the different places and important locations of the Flying Sword Sect in the past.

The fact that the Elder Pavilion was called the Elder Pavilion, did not mean that only the elders of the Flying Sword Sect could enter.

In fact, many disciples made their way to the Elder Pavilion to pick up their master when he had been missing from his public lectures a little too long…

“The Elder Pavilion, I have not been there before… Should both of us go?” Feeling a bit excited upon thinking about going to the Elder Pavilion and seeing the main force behind the Flying Sword Sect, Chu Yang remembered that their master might be waiting for them back at his pavilion.

“Both of us will go! I don’t think master will have anything against us returning a bit later due to helping a young girl get her medicine!” Qing Yi thought for a few seconds before she responded.

Chu Yang could not help but nod in agreement as both of them made their way over in the direction of the Elder Pavilion.

“Ash Sunstone… Hah… I really can’t find any information on it…” Throwing the book in his hand back towards a nearby shelf,  Xuan Hao did not bother to look at it as the book flew over and gently settled back into the small space that it had been taken from earlier.

Xuan Hao had already stayed in the library for one hour straight and had scanned through countless books with his divine sense, trying to look for anything related to the Ash Sunstone and Moon Silver in his possession.

The Moon Silver was a relatively easy thing to find records on, as it was one of the most popular materials used by blacksmiths to forge weapons of the Mystic Rank, suitable for Domain Lords and highly sought after.

The Explorer Union even had a set price for it and would buy it up at that price no matter how much Moon Silver you offered.

The Ash Sunstone however… Xuan Hao had not managed to find as much as a single mention of its use or even its existence in the first place.

From what Xuan Hao knew, this could only mean two things. First, the Ash Sunstone was extremely rare. Rare to the point that it might not have been seen once since the creation of the Flying Sword Sect!

The Second reason sounded more logical to Xuan Hao and that was the fact that people on the Ewaria Continent might call the Ash Sunstone something different.

“But even then, there is nothing similar to it in appearance inside the rare material encyclopaedia…” Xuan Hao was not fully set on how to deal with the Ash Sunstone and decided to just throw the trouble of finding out how to use it to the future him who was stronger and hopefully more knowledgeable regarding the different rare materials in this world…

At the very least, he managed to find out what the Moon Silver was used for. Now the question became, what to do with it?

The Flying Sword Sect did not have any Master Blacksmith capable of using the Moon Silver to forge a weapon or another kind of artifact.

Xuan Hao could keep it and wait for the time when the Flying Sword Sect managed to nurture a Master Blacksmith in the future, but how long would that take?

Selling the Moon Silver to the Explorer Union would also be an option, but the value a weapon or artifact created by the Moon Silver would be worth far more than the spirit stones offered by the Explorer Union.

“Do I have to find a Master Blacksmith that can make a sword or artifact for me?” Thinking about it, Xuan Hao felt like this would be a great option, especially after remembering his earlier conversation together with Shu Yao.

If he in the future managed to become part of the sect alliance established under the Sky Empire, he should be able to find out the location of one of the Sky Empires Master Blacksmiths!

It looked like he would have to help the Sect Master make a decision in regard to joining the Sect Alliance… As long as it was no detrimental for the Flying Sword Sect, joining the Sect Alliance should be a good thing for the Flying Sword Sect future growth.

Even if they ended up clashing with the churches of the Sky Empire, it would most likely not involve the smaller and relatively weak sects that did not even have a Domain Lord in them, like the Flying Sword Sect.

“But how would I convince a Master Blacksmith from the Sky Empire to make a weapon or an artifact for me…?” Having already grown confident that he would have the ability to meet a Master Blacksmith in the future, Xuan Hao instead turned his focus towards a nearby shelf of books with the label [The Art of Blacksmithing] on it.

Maybe he should find out what kind of payment a Master Blacksmith would be interested in…
