Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough – Chapter 537

537 End of the Battle

Chapter 537: End of the Battle

“-RETREAT!”

Upon hearing the shout of their boss and seeing the servant sealed up in the large bubble-like seal, the bandits did not think twice about what had just happened, as they all began darting in the opposite direction of the caravan.

No matter what, they were unwilling to continue their attack on the caravan after having found out that the people defending it were stronger than them. Not to mention, the seal on the servant would most likely not last for long. Given the fact that the bubble around said servant had already begun to show signs of cracking after every single attack.

Continuing to attack the caravan would at most result in the servant killing all of them after he freed himself from the bubble-like seal! More than enough reason for the bandits to abandon their original goal!

“Hah… It’s good. Everyone is getting away…”

Smiling happily upon seeing the sight of his brothers running away, Master Pu showed a happy smile before the forbidden technique fully consumed him. Turning his body to dust, as the seal began cracking apart even faster than before.

Crack~

A few minutes after the bandits had escaped, the bubble-like seal broke apart as the servant managed to free himself from the seal formed after Master Pu sacrificed his life.

“…”

Gazing over the scene of destruction left behind, the servant soon turned to look towards the bandits still barely visible in the distance running away with all their might, the servant remained unmoving for a short moment before shaking his head.

“No use continuing the fight…” Muttering this to himself, the servant turned around before heading back towards the caravan where Chu Yang and the rest of the guards from the caravan were waiting. Most of which were quite happy after realizing they didn’t have to do anything during the battle that just took place.

“Let’s resume the journey, we got delayed by quite a bit and might arrive later than expected if we end up encountering another bandit group along the way!”

As the servant returned back to the caravan, Chu Yang was just about to say something when the servant suddenly said this before entering the luxurious carriage.

The guards were more than happy to get going before another group of bandits appeared to attack them, as the caravan soon began moving once again.

Not saying anything as watched this play out, Chu Yang decided to jump back on top of the luxurious carriage as the he watched intently, observing the place where the servant and the bandit leader had fought each other when they passed by it.

The scenes of destruction left behind by the two and the rest of the bandits was more than enough for Chu Yang to realize just how far he still had to go before reaching the Peak of the Core Formation Realm.

“I still have a long way to go…”  Muttering these words to himself, Chu Yang suddenly felt like he was still far from being considered someone strong, as he felt a drive to improve his cultivation base and reach the Peak of the Core Formation Realm. After that, he would do his best to reach the Nascent Soul Realm and truly become an expert in the cultivation world!

No. Reaching the Nascent Soul Realm was far from enough! His master was someone who had reached the Domain Lord Realm, so as his disciple, he should at the very least reach the Domain Lord Realm in the future and truly become a powerful cultivator. Not only in the smaller kingdoms, but across the entire Sky Empire!

Lost in thought thinking about his future, Chu Yang didn’t notice that the flow of qi inside his body becoming smoother as it easily coursed around his body.

While this did not improve his cultivation realm, it did unknowingly to Chu Yang, make it easy for him to not only absorb qi from heaven and earth, but also allowed him to use his qi more easily while fighting!

Back at the Flying Sword Sect, things were still moving along smoothly towards the merger that was going to take place in a little over a year.

One of the ways to make the merger easier, was hosting serval friendly events for the younger disciples from both the Flying Sword Sect and Spring Flower Sect to meet with each other and compete together in groups and take on different challenges arranged by the elders of both sects.

Of course, these events took place inside both of the sects, as a few elders were in charge of moving these disciples back and forth between the two sects in batches to ensure their safety.

On the other hand, the older disciples from both of the sects who had already reached the Peak of the Foundation Establishment Realm, or the Core Formation Realm, were send out on ‘special mission’ to deal with strong demon beasts running wild or diplomatic matters pertaining the Flying Sword Sect’s expanding control over their territory.

Specially arranged by Elder Song to help the older disciple understand some of the work they would have to undertake after becoming elders in the future…

After having seen how lazy most of the elders of the Flying Sword Sect were, Elder Song had taken it upon himself to make sure that the next generation of elders would not turn out like the last.

Not to mention… Now that he had reached the Nascent Soul Realm, Elder Song would live for a long time! Because of this, he understood very well that in the future, he would most likely be the one ending up with the work that the future elders ignored in case they ended up becoming lazy like the current group of elders!

Even if he was currently in the process of reforming these elder, Elder Song already understood that doing so would take a long time, something he did not want to repeat when the next group of elders were chosen…

“…”

Watching all of this take place across the Flying Sword Sect though his divine sense from inside his pavilion, Xuan Hao could not help smiling slightly to himself. Especially when watching an alchemy tournament for the newer members arranged by the Alchemy Hall being set up by a few disciples and elders in front of the Alchemy Hall.

Even if the Alchemy Hall had become famous inside the Flying Sword Sect after Qing Yi returned and many new disciples ended up joining, the same could not be said for the young disciples of the Spring Flower Sect, as most of them did not seem too interested in alchemy.

For this reason, Xuan Hao had personally put up a few of the spiritual herbs which he had found in the interspatial ring of the dead Domain Lord that had landed in front of him inside the jungle located close to the centre of the continent to help spark some more interest in the Alchemy Hall among the young disciples of the Spring Flower Sect.

After all, one of the most important things for the future development of the Flying Sword Sect, was to ensure an ample supply of potions and pills for the disciples to not only help their cultivation improve, but to keep themselves safe while wandering the outside world.

Elder Song also understood this, as he had even gone so far as to proclaim that he would personally guide the top five and help them with any questions they might have regarding cultivation.

Unsurprisingly, this caused an influx of disciples entering the Alchemy Hall to reach a new height, as the Alchemy Hall ended up extremely crowded for days after the announcement had been made by Elder Song.

Not too surprising, as Elder Song was a Nascent Soul Realm Expert, a personal lesson from him, was more than enough to sway most of the young disciples to rush towards the Alchemy Hall.

All of this considered, the tournament would officially begin in about a week, as the newer disciples would try their best to no avail to make their first potion…

“Hm?”

Turning his attention away from the tournament ground slowly being prepared in front of the Alchemy Hall, Xuan Hao suddenly noticed a large number of people appearing at the entrance of the Sect.

Looking closer, Xuan Hao quickly realized that the large group of people were yet another batch of Spring Flower Sect disciples who had arrived to join the different events currently taking place inside the Flying Sword Sect for the younger disciples of both sects.

However, just a moment later, Xuan Hao could not help frowning to himself as he watched a large group of male disciples having gathered to see the disciples of the Spring Flower Sect who had just arrived.

“…”

Not knowing what to say upon witnessing this scene, Xuan Hao suddenly felt like teasing these… ‘spirited’ young disciples.

“Hehe~” Chuckling in a slightly eerie tone that made him look like a villain, Xuan Hao waved his hand in the direction of the entrance to sect.
