” Young Lord Jia, You are right on time.”
Jia Hao noticed that Zhou Yan and Li Qing were already standing with the Crimson Dagger Dojo’s disciples. However, what made him surprised was the presence of Sang Qiuluo.
” Miss Sang? You are also coming with us?” Jia Hao was surprised.

” How is your father doing?”

Jia Hao clicked his tongue as he looked at Sang Qiuluo. Rather than any girly attire, she wore a tight dress and pants, with leather boots covering her feet.
Tying her hair into a bun and a bow on her back, she looked like a huntress, ready to hunt her prey.
” Well, I believe everyone has arrived.” Li Qing proclaimed. ” Shall we go?”

Sang Qiuliu nodded as she handed everyone small pouches made up of clothes.
” What are these?”
” These are beast repelling medicines. With this here, we can evade most of the beasts.”
Jia Hao thought for a moment before keeping it away, making Sang Qiuluo surprised.
” What is it, Young Master Jia? You are not going to use it?”
” Not now.” Jia Hao stretched his arms. ” I am rather inclined to fight off the beasts. I need to train my body, yes?”
” Haha, That’s a good idea.” Sang Qiuluo nodded. ” However, this might create some hindrance in our journey.”
” What do you think, Brother Qing?”
Li Qing looked at Jia Hao and thought for a moment. ” Well, Let’s just avoid troublesome monsters, shall we? After we get the Bright Snow Lotus, you can kill as many beasts as you want.”
” Not to mention, The Wolven Fountain is a area infested with demonic beasts. We might not be able to avoid battle there.” Zhou Yan reminded.
So planning everything, they moved into the forest.

” The elves, the otherworldly monsters, they aren’t native to this land, right?” Jia Hao suddenly asked.
” Indeed, They are came out from the gray mist outbreak hundreds of years ago. As far as I know, they belonged to another old empire, which was invaded and then destroyed by the monsters.” Li Qing replied.
” After the gray mist slowly resided, most of them crossed the Stormy Sea and settled in the western continent. However, of them stayed here and scattered across the ancient Zhou Dynasty.”
” Hmm, Is that so?” Jia Hao rubbed his head as he felt utterly confused by the mish mash of the genres.
Soon enough, the team of scouts stopped as they looked around.
” There is a pack of Dark Hounds ahead of us.”
” Around twenty or some?”
Sang Qiuluo frowned. ” Dark Hounds are generally very sensitive to sound. I don’t think we have the time to detour them.”
” March forward. Archers, take position and shoot a few of them.”
Jia Hao saw two practitioners rush forward and climb on the tree. Due to the effect of the violet internal qi, their body was agile and noble, and their five senses were sharper.

The bush rustled as Jia Hao saw hounds with three feet of height and crimson eyes charging towards them.

His internal energy flowed within the saber as he felt the blade was turning slightly crimson. Flames sparked out as Jia Hao cleaved a Dark Hound into half.
The slash made the open flesh sear as if it was burnt by flames. Jia Hao was amazed by the performance.
‘ Holy shit! Not only the saber is super sharp, it also gives extra fire damage!’
Sang Qiuluo didn’t back as she faced two hounds at once. Her short sword flashed in a frenzied manner as she pierced skulls of the hounds.
Jia Hao recognized the technique as it was none other than the Crimson Frenzy Blade Art. However, Sang Qiuluo’s movement were smooth as she controlled the precision of her attack.
However, looking at Li Qing, Jia Hao couldn’t help but become speechless.
Li Qing simply stood as Zhou Yuan used an ordinary dagger to kill the incoming hounds. And he killed them with minimal effort as if he was crushing some ants.
‘ Tsk, Having a powerful servant sure has its benefits. I too also want it.’ Jia Hao thought inwardly.
Since Sang Qiuluo and other members of Crimson Dagger Dojo were here, Jia Hao didn’t used the Crimson Frenzy Blade Word. He wielded the saber naturally and simply used his brute strength to kill the hounds.
Not long after, the entire field was littered by the corpses. Sang Qiuluo looked around and nodded.
” Take a few corpses and carry them inside our sack.”
Jia Hao was surprised as he looked at Snag Qiuluo for reason. Sang Qiuluo replied, ” Well, The Wolven Fountain is filled with demonic beasts. We can use these corpses as lure to bait them away.”
” Our sacks were soaked in medicinal fluids. So, they won’t give the scent of blood while we are carrying the corpses.”
” Heh, Miss Sang sure knows the ins and outs of the hunting, eh?”
