The villagers were shocked when they heard it was the doing of a dark monster. But Jia Hao’s words had a strange kind of charm and dominance, making them obey his every command.

” This Captain, send a messenger and ask Old Yang to come here with a few guards.” Jia Hao looked at the Third Captain.

” Prepare some wheat straws, some chickens, and some clothes.”
The Third Captain felt a bit strange when he heard Jia Hao’s demands. But he simply nodded as he asked his subordinates to gather the ingredients.
Soon enough, they brought everything Jia Hao asked for. Jia Hao nodded with satisfaction.
” Prepare a scarecrow with those straws. Kill the chicken and stuff them inside. Make the straws soaked with chicken blood.”
” Investigator Jia, You want to attract the beast with chicken blood?” The Third Captain frowned.
” But why would a monster get lured by chicken blood when it’s attracted to human blood.”
“Haha, Don’t worry.” Jia Hao laughed as he looked at him. ” I know how to make chicken blood even more appetizing than human blood.”
Among the villagers whose Recent Future Points Jia Hao saw, he found the villager who was going to get attacked tonight.
He was planning to plan the blood soaked scarecrow in the place of the victim, making the Dark Hound Bog get attracted to it.
After preparing the scarecrow, Jia Hao nodded with satisfaction, The blood dripping from the scarecrow wearing bloody clothing gave off an eerie and horrific sight.
However, it certainly looked like a human from afar.

After the sun sat, a few villagers burned the lamps around their houses. From the dark, it looked beautiful yet…haunting.

” Place the scarecrow on the bed and get out. We shall watch everything from the distance.”
Two hours after the complete darkness, Jia Hao’s ears perked up some strange sounds from the inside of the house.
His Sage’s Divine Eyes shone as he saw a faint figure in the darkness from the far. After all, his eyes can easily see things from a great distance, even inside the darkness.

As they opened the door, they saw a large black hound trying to drag the scarecrow away.
Its body was large, but it looked very skinny, like a sack of skin on bones. Not to mention, one could see the rotten chunks of wounds and exposed black bones, making it look like a zombie dog.
The eyes of the Dark Bog Hound shone with malice as it barked at the yamen officers.
” Monster! You dare to harm the commoners?” The Third Captain charged out as he unsheathed his sword.
His sword shone with a faint light as he slashed out towards the hound. The hound retracted its step as it turned around and escaped.
” Damn it! Don’t let it go!”
” Chase after it!”
The Third Captain was a Profound Awakening Realm expert. Along with the officers of yamen, he gave a chase.
However, the hound was very fast as it entered the forest. It was as if it knew all the forest very well, making it escape faster among the woods.
” Damn it!”
” We can’t see anything in darkness!”
” What are we going to do?”
As they paused, they only heard a faint voice.
” Leave it to me.”
All they felt was a gush of wind as if someone passed by them with great speed. The Third Captain couldn’t help but sigh with amazement.
