Lin Mei rolled her eyes as she ate the ice cream. After a few moments, Jia Hao scooped some ice cream to eat, but then he looked at Lin Mei as she already opened her mouth, her gaze was on the TV.

With a sigh, Jia Hao fed Lin Mei while eating ice cream.

Jia Hao yawned as he took the remote and turned off the TV. Lin Mei turned and looked at him.
” What? Why did you turn off the TV?”
” What were we watching anyway? It’s so boring.” Jia Hao shook his head. ” I don’t do boring things, you know?”
” Hah, Then what do you want to do?” Lin Mei asked with curiosity.
Jia Hao thought for a moment as he looked at Lin Mei. ” Do you know how to cook?”
” Uh, No?”
Lin Mei replied honestly. She felt cooking was a tedious task. So she didn’t bother to learn cooking.
” How about I prepare something? Some quick night snack?”
” Oh? Someone is bring quite considerate tonight.” Lin Mei raised her eyebrows when she heard Jia Hao.
” Noodles or dumplings shall suffice.”
” Alright.” Jia Hao nodded as he walked to the kitchen. Lin Mei also followed him into the kitchen as she picked a place and sat.
” My maid prepares all the meals for me, so other than looking for snacks, I don’t have much work in the kitchen.” Lin Mei spoke in a soft voice.
” But look at you, you already know how to cook.”
” Cooking isn’t that hard.” Jia Hao sliced the onions and chicken breasts with ease.
” People just avoid cooking because of the amount of work involve in cooking and cleaning afterward. However, once you catch the gist of it, you will start loving it.”
With a grin, Jia Hao looked at Lin Mei. ” Why don’t you come and help me? I will teach you a little bit of everything.”
” You sure?” Lin Mei hesitated a bit. ” I never cooked before. I don’t want to mess…”

Lin Mei nodded as she walked to Jia Hao. As she took the knife from him, Jia Hao started to instruct her thoroughly.
” While cutting onion, you need to move your knife like this. You need to make a sharp and clean cut.”
” If you make sharp and clean cuts, the onions won’t release much odor. Otherwise, if you chop messily, your eyes will tear up.”

‘ Hmph, This rascal is up to no good. However, the ambiance of the movie and the background is good. I wonder what is it about?’
” Eh? The dumplings are actually good. I love the sauce.” Lin Mei took a bite of the dumpling as the minced filling mixed with the tasty sauce, making her eat faster.
” Well, I told you? I am not a bad cook, right?” Jia Hao grinned as he also dipped some fried noodles in the sauce.
Lin Mei looked at the movie as she saw the plot slowly unfolding.

However, her excitement took a strange turn as she saw the screen blacking out for a moment.
