Chapter 596: The Queen
Jayden watched as the rest of the dragons began to die one by one, they were not even able to retaliate at all, they could only scream in pain and aimlessly release their dragon breath, but nothing could help them against the angry Hecate.
Soon the bodies of the dragons fell down limply, then she turned to look at Jayden and spoke with a smile: ” Go ahead and absorb all the energy from them, it’s too bad that they are all already dead but the energy in their bodies alone would be quite a lot. ”
Jayden looked at her in confusion and tilted his head slightly, the energy from all the nine dragons was automatically going inside his body without him doing anything and the speed was a lot faster than his previous speed, yet he didn’t pay it any attention since it was not hurting him.
Seeing him getting confused, Hecate began to explain while using a cloth to wipe his face with a big smile on her face, she looked very happy now for some reason.
” Can’t you feel it how energy is going inside your body from those dragons, try doing it on your own, that way it will be even faster. And thank you for protecting me earlier, my cutie. ”
The fact that Jayden got so angry just for her and had fought so hard to protect her against such strong creatures made her feel happy, loved and special.
Jayden listened to her words and began to sense the vast amount of energy that was rushing into his body, he tried pulling more energy into his body but it didn’t work like Hecate wanted him to do
So with drooped shoulders, he looked towards her, Hecate smiled slightly and explained it to him: ” You are trying too hard for no reason just let it flow into your body more easily, like if you are drinking something with a pipe, just try to absorb energy in bulk. ”
After hearing this, Jayden closed his eyes and in the next moment large amount of energy began to rush into his body from the nine bodies, even though they were weaker than even Garett but the combined energy of all these dragons was even greater than what Jayden had absorbed before.
Hecate looked at all this with a curious look the combination of Demonic Devouring Arts, dragon body, dragon heart, Nether aura and many other abilities like controlling space and time, she wondered what kind of entity he would soon become.
But she knew for sure that it wouldn’t be very long before he took one of the top spots in the entire universe, then the ones he had sworn to kill wouldn’t be able to hide anywhere, and Hecate loved this violent side of him not that she hate his loving side.
The speed at which Jayden was now absorbing was more than ten times faster than before and it kept increasing, Hecate was in no hurry since Veena had run away so she definitely was injured by Jayden Hecate concluded.
And it won’t be long before the witch queen arrives back here, so now it would be almost impossible to kill Veena, though she would still be punished for the taboo she had done, Hecate moved around the room to check.
Despite the barrier still in place the walls and roof of the room had already crumbled to pieces just from the shocks it had been receiving, and even most of the tricks that Veena had placed here were destroyed by the dragon breath that Jayden had released earlier.
” I wonder what kind of compensation should I ask this time from the queen, maybe I should ask her to just forget about the incident with the first dragon’s body, hmmm yeah that way they won’t be bugging me all the time. ”
Hecate mumbled to herself, in around an hour Jayden had absorbed more than half of the energy of one of the dragon.
And unlike before now he was directly using it to make his body stronger and the capacity of energy in his body even larger, so the entire process was definitely faster and the speed at which Jayden was getting stronger was just too fast.
After a few hours had passed Jayden was finally done with absorbing energy from all the dragons, now they looked like dried costumes of the once proud dragons, Hecate directly stored them all into her rings since she was sure that Jayden might want them later on.
” Are you done? ” Hecate asked while she observed his body, she could feel that the barrier around the dragon heart inside his body was destroyed by more than 60 per cent now, a beautiful smile broke out on her face as mumbled: ” Magnificent ”
” Yes ” Jayden replied and when he looked at Hecate he noticed that her dress had gotten dirty, and his own clothes were now dirty with the blood of the dragons.
” I guess we both need a shower and a set of new clothes, should we leave? ” Hecate spoke then she turned to look at the barrier around the room, narrowing her eyes she spoke: ” Just give me a minute. ”
Then she walked closer to the barrier and placed one of her hands over it, but just then the barrier opened on its own, making a gate in front of her.
” So you are already here, heh as late as always. ” Hecate spoke, taking Jayden’s hand she walked out of the room and looked at all the witches standing in front of her.
There were currently over a few hundred witches standing in front of them, and at the front was Veena who looked almost fine by now, she must have wasted quite a bit of life saving treasure to survive.
And beside her was a woman wearing black clothes, not even a bit of her skin was visible and there was a veil on her face, only her eyes could be seen but despite that her body looked voluptuous, it was evident that she was too hot.
But Jayden’s gaze was fixed on Veena who was hiding behind her mother, the witch queen.
The hair of the queen were long and black, and there was no aura around her body but anyone could tell that she was extremely strong, her gaze was calm and looked as if not many things could make her panic in this entire world.
” Hecate, my old friend it’s been such a long time since I have last seen you, I heard you have recently broken through your shackles that had stopped you from getting stronger in the past, I am very curious what could have helped you? ”
The queen spoke, it was only in front of Hecate that she usually speaks so much otherwise the queen stays silent all of the time.
Hecate and the queen are of almost similar ages and stayed together since they were young, they had to face countless challenges together Hecate never wanted the throne, for her it was all an useless responsibility but Hecate still helped her maintain the throne.
