Chapter 602: Break it
An emergency alarm sounded and all the people were informed about the attack, the public panicked and they ran to the top floors, a lot of people were killed but most of them were able to climb to the top floors.
Then Kate went to meet Sasha and the rest, they gave Kate some orders and told him to hide on one of the higher floors, at first he didn’t agree but after seeing Alice kill one of the vampire so easily he finally agreed and hid with others.
Then the sound of explosion and fighting kept ringing for a while, but soon it all went silent Kate was just wondering if it all had ended but then one another loud explosion sounded and soon after no sound came from outside.
” Alright, you can leave too. ” Jayden said, Kate looked at his emotionless face and wondered how he is remaining so calm right now, but for some reason he felt it was the silence before the storm after thanking Jayden Kate also walked out of there.
” So what are you planning on doing now? And where is your family really? ” Hecate asked she could no longer hold in her curiosity.
” Hecate, can you break this thing for me? ” Saying that Jayden showed her the locked present around his neck, a big part of it was already broken.
” Hmm, isn’t that what’s sealing your dragon heart? Why do you want to break it? ” Hecate asked while inspecting the locket.
” I don’t think I need this thing any longer, just break it. ” Jayden replied, Hecate looked at him for a few seconds then she sighed and nodded.
” Fine, I’ll do it, be ready for the sudden dose of the energy and tell me if you feel something is wrong. ”
Saying that, she took the locket in her hands again and closed her eyes then she chanted something and began to release her energy into the locket, Jayden could feel just from this that Hecate is very strong.
*CRACK* *CRACK*
Within seconds, cracks began to enlarge over the locket instantly Jayden felt a large amount of energy rushing into his body,
Along with the locket the barrier around the dragon heart was directly connected, and the cracks kept extending all over the barrier, Hecate suddenly pushed a large amount of energy forward which created a loud sound as the barrier finally completely broke.
All of a sudden, Jayden felt the energy rushing all over his body, it was as if the energy wanted to break out of his body, clenching his fists he sat on the chair and converged all of it back into the dragon’s heart, he needed this energy to move in a certain way all across his body.
At first, Hecate was a little worried but after seeing that Jayden was slowly able to take control of his dragon heart completely she relaxed and waited for him to finish, while she observed the officers and Arcane checking the entire building.
Around an hour had passed, and when Jayden was finally able to have complete control over his heart, he finally opened his eyes and first checked the state of his body.
” How is it? Your body, it should be the perfect container for your dragon heart, right? ” Hecate asked, while she curiously looked at him.
” … Yes it is perfect for my dragon heart, anyway did those guys already leave? ” Jayden looked around and saw that the police had already checked the entire building and now they were helping the survivors.
” Forget about all that, first tell me where is your family? ” Hecate asked again.
” They will be here soon, tell me is there any way for my family to also acquire the energy from the dragons? ” Jayden asked, the gap between him and his wives had increased by a lot so he wanted them to become stronger faster too.
” Uh Yeah there are always things that could be done, but everything carries their own risk so you have to think about it first. ” Hecate replied.
After nodding Jayden stood up and walked out of the room with Hecate following behind him, then he went to the floor with the highest number of vampire corpses, the Arcane had already taken them all away.
” Eve, are you fine? ” Jayden looked at the tattoo on his hand and spoke, within seconds she materialised into her jelly-like form.
” Kiiiiu ” Eve gave out a weak but happy shout, it seemed she had not properly recovered yet, so Jayden gave all of the cores he had in his possession but since Eve’s strength had also grown along with Jayden so those cores were nowhere near.
Instead, he used his own energy to feed Eve, which was a lot better in both quantity and quality, also she seemed to like it a lot too, she returned back to the tattoo form and slowly kept absorbing energy from the endless pool of energy.
” They are here finally. ” Jayden spoke, Hecate was now able to see intense emotions in his eyes so she understood that it was not that his love for his family had reduced at all but he was just trying to hold himself back from destroying anything too soon.
Then a portal appeared right in front of Jayden and then one after another many women walked out of it, few men also came out at the end, the one walking in the lead was Alice.
” Hubbbyyyy~ ” She directly pounced onto him without worrying if they could fall, Jayden opened his arms and took her in a tight embrace closing his eyes he inhaled her scent and finally felt his nerves relaxing.
Ever since knowing that Emma was in danger he just wanted to rush there and annihilate everyone but Jayden found that all of them had travelled to a different dimension and it would be impossible for him to go there without destroying that dimension.
So he was not hurrying here after all he was not sure if he would be able to hold back if he saw the scene here, but now he felt complete; strength or not it would all be meaningless without them all.
After all, obtaining strength is not the main goal but just a way to reach the final goal, and there is no final goal without his family, even though he could not deny that his body and mind have both gone through huge changes, but nothing could change his love for his family.
” Darling?!! We finally found you. ” Sophie shouted in happiness and jumped into his arms.
” Hubby but you… ” Alice mumbled while looking at his face, then she added:
” You can’t go around looking like that, you were already critical for women’s hearts but now with your looks, I don’t think there would be any women who wouldn’t want to have you for herself. You should wear a mask from now on. ”
Jayden smiled hearing her words, all of the women walked out of the portal, Layla also jumped into his arms after seeing Jayden there, her eyes were filled with tears she had felt that she would never be able to see him.
