Chapter 615: Nyx
After talking with Kate Jayden went into his room, he knew this was going to be a long night and he was in a good mood too after destroying the Remington family, inside the room all of his wives were present and even both of his maids were waiting.
They talked for a while and soon the room was filled with the moans, for the entirety of the night all the women and Jayden stayed awake, Jayden filled each woman many times.
In the morning, leaving the women to rest Jayden took a bath then he decided to go check his company since the previous main was still being repaired so Kate sent him the location of another building.
‘ I also need to buy a few cars for me later, though flying is way faster. ‘ after checking the location Jayden flew and soon disappeared.
It took him less than a minute to arrive there when Jayden was just flying casually, Kate was already waiting for him in front of the building.
” Boss you are here, I still can’t get used to this new look of yours. Did you get a plastic surgery, if so then tell me about it too, maybe I can become a little more handsome. Though there isn’t much space to improve- ” Kate just kept on talking, Jayden stopped him and while walking he asked:
” Tell me about the public response to the news we released about catching the terrorists. ”
” They are divided, some are encouraging us and showing sympathy but many are there who are mocking our claim, I believe more than half of these people are from other companies. ” Kate replied, while walking behind Jayden.
After arriving in the office Jayden sat down on the chair relaxedly then he questioned: ” Did you make sure that everyone heard about this news? ”
” Yes boss, all the news channels are showing our news, we even declared through the newspaper and all the online platforms, so I’m sure most people have heard about it already. ”
Kate said while checking his tab, Jayden stayed silent for a few seconds then he asked another question:
” Then we will do just that, tell me about the terrorists that have been staying in the destroyed areas, if we don’t have enough info then find it, whatever it maybe. ” Kate nodded and searched for all the available data, after finding the necessary facts he replied:
” The most dangerous terrorist outside is the Nyx, its leader is Kyle who used to be a scientist in Arcane and he developed lots of weapons using the bodies of invaders, later something happened between him and Arcane and soon he disappeared.
Later we heard the news that he had formed a group outside and since most of the members in that group have those weapons that is the most dangerous group, I even heard that they have many affected in their group, do you want to know about any other group? ”
After explaining Kate asked, while working he was very serious.
” No that’s good enough, the identity of that scientist, is it known to the public too? ” Jayden asked as he closed his eyes and leaned back on the chair.
” No, even I heard this as a rumor though many things point that it is true, and so very few people are aware of it. ” Kate answered though he wondered what Jayden was planning to do.
” Alright, this is perfect, try to find whatever you can about that Nyx group and that scientist too, and report to me as soon as possible. ”
After Jayden ordered, Kate immediately got to work, searching about that group was not easy but bits of news could be found through different sources.
While Kate was busy gathering the intel, Jayden began to look over the internet for the latest news, the first thing he found was that a company named The Queen.
There was not much info available about the Queen company, it was at the 1st position and the difference between 1st and 2nd was astronomical, they were related to all kinds of businesses from creating cars, and mobiles to selling clothes, and many more things.
Jayden didn’t think too much about it since it was no use thinking about any of it now, then he looked through other news, and there were a few news about Night Corp’s promise to capture the terrorists, other than that Jayden didn’t find anything of interest.
Placing the mobile away, he closed his eyes and then decided to go and check Nether world, Jayden wanted to check if now his speed of absorbing energy would increase by even a little bit, he opened a portal in front of him and then walked through it.
He was welcomed by the familiar world, it looked exactly the same, the Nether world had recovered completely a long time ago after Jayden had fought against the empty beast, he sat down cross legged and then began to absorb the Nether energy.
Jayden was surprised by the increased speed of his absorption it was many times faster now, so placing all of his concentration on the task Jayden began to absorb as much energy as possible, after around an hour had passed he opened his eyes and was satisfied by the results.
Now it won’t take him so long to complete the whole cycle of absorbing this energy, his strength will definitely increase a lot after he finishes it and he will also have complete control over the Nether world.
‘ If I absorb Nether energy at all times like before, then I will be able to finish even faster, and if I have proper control over this land then I’ll be able to test my Time manipulation skill, though I still need to increase my mental strength. ‘ Jayden thought.
The mental strength was now one of his biggest weaknesses, yet he had not been able to find any way to increase it faster, so he decided to find a way as soon as possible.
Jayden then opened a portal back to the office and soon arrived there but he didn’t close the portal completely instead he just decreased its size so that no one would be able to spot it easily, and he would still be able to absorb the energy.
While Jayden was sitting comfortably on the chair and absorbing energy, Kate knocked on the door and walked inside after getting permission, he was carrying a file in his hands where he had collected the data.
” Tell me what did you find? ” Jayden asked, without opening his eyes.
” It was hard to find anything about Kyle, it seems Arcane had removed most of the things about him from the internet, though I found that he have a son who is now being raised by Kyle’s brother. ” Kate reported then after pausing for a moment he began:
” And about the Nyx, it’s hard to find their exact location since they are always hidden and have various hideouts. ”
Jayden listened to it all in silence, right now what he needed the most was information not just about Nyx but many other things.
