Chapter 676: I am like your Father
When Jayden was speaking Zeus was surprised by his words, but in the next moment, the Typhon jumped lightly and stood over the high platform with his giant figure.
*BOOM*
Like a crazy beast, Typhon began to attack everything around and his main attack was concentrated on Zeus since Jayden was exactly standing behind him.
” We need to talk after I deal with him. ” Zeus spoke, as he stopped the attacks of the heinous monster after this giant creature was captured he had become a little weaker than he originally was because of Zeus trying all kinds of things on his body.
Jayden watched as electricity began to emit out of Zeus’s body he looked extremely strong then he disappeared from his position and taking the Typhon along he flew into the sky, but Jayden was still able to clearly see the battle taking place in the sky.
Zeus thunder bolts were really strong, even from so far away Jayden could still feel the aura of his attacks but Typhon looked just as terrifying, this type of battle was not going to end anytime soon, Jayden looked around and saw Apollo and many other gods there.
‘ It’s better if I don’t get involved with him he is more cunning than his father, and that woman she is quite strong too. ‘ Jayden thought as his gaze moved over Apollo and Athena, because of the biggest battle many of them had come there to see the battle.
Just as Jayden began to slip away silently, Apollo looked at him with a smile and spoke while moving forward:
” You are a strong warrior, I have been watching you fight for quite some time now but it’s strange that before the day you arrived in this collosium, no one had ever heard or seen you before, can you tell me about your past? ”
He spoke in a respectful tone but he was clearly looking down on Jayden.
” Why should I? ” Jayden replied with an emotionless face.
” Huh? Of course, you have to since I’m asking. ” Apollo was not expecting that type of answer no one would dare to disrespect him like that.
” Do you know what happens when you get too curious about things that you should just ignore? ”
Jayden asked, while observing Zeus’ battle which kept getting more and more intense but since this was the second time so Zeus had a slight upper hand.
” What happens then? ” Apollo asked curiously, and seeing her brother talking to someone Athena also paid attention to Jayden she began to assess his strength.
” Then you may die. ” Jayden added his face expressionless.
” Is that a threat? ” Apollo asked with a frown on his face, he couldn’t understand what Jayden was trying to say or even thinking.
” Hmm, Why is that a threat you are almost like a son to me or will be in the future, anyway that is just an advice, as for me… ” He paused for a moment and glanced towards Athena then he added:
” When I was born a divination was made that I am going to overthrow my father, so he swallowed my mother but in the end, I tore apart his body and came out unscathed, since then I lived inside a cave along with my mother, and when I came out recently I was captured by some stupid son of a bitch.”
Apollo listened to it all with some interest and then felt the story seemed familiar but he soon understood the reason, and it was the first time that someone was talking like that in front of him.
Though just as he was about to ask more they heard a loud explosion in the sky it seemed that the battle was becoming more and more dangerous, so Apollo decided to talk about it later and began to observe his father.
‘ This is going to take quite a long time, till then should I go and annihilate some of their prisoners? ‘ Jayden thought and after looking around he disappeared but it seemed Athena and Apollo were paying close attention to him, in just a few seconds he appeared back.
Then he disappeared and within a few seconds he appeared, Jayden kept doing that he kept killing all the beasts and others that they had captured and then absorbed their energy.
‘ Hoo This should be enough for now, and seeing how strong Zeus is, if I go all out then there is a high chance I would win, but I can’t be sure if he is hiding some kind of Trump cards. ‘ thinking this he glanced at Apollo and asked:
” Aren’t you going to help, tch what an unfilial son How could you let your old man do all the action while you stand down here, I’m sure you would later be forgotten in the history. ”
He knew that such words wouldn’t be able to fool Apollo but he just said that to pass some time, and soon they began to quarrel over different things but for some reason despite being a cunning god Apollo was always on the losing end.
‘ I am already getting bored, even though the battle is so intense but after watching the same attacks for so long the results are obvious and there isn’t anything interesting. ‘
Jayden thought so he sat down but for some reason, everyone began to look at him strangely.
” Why are you looking at me as if you have seen the ghost of your grandfather doing the deed? ” Jayden asked as he relaxed without caring about others.
” Why are sitting in my father’s seat? ” Athena finally spoke, she looked angry.
” Ah So that’s it, tch so petty despite being the gods, fine fine I won’t sit there. ” Saying that Jayden’s body began to float just a little above the seat, now his body was not touching the seat but he was still sitting there.
” Haa Dealing with this mortal is tiring, if father did not have more to talk to you I would have already killed you by now. ” Apollo spoke, Jayden just closed his eyes and decided to take a nap.
The battle continued for hours and then for days, most of the people had already gone away they already knew that Zeus would win in the end, Jayden would go away to kill more prisoners and beasts, and then he observed the battle for some time and also trained.
After many days, Zeus finally won and threw Typhon in the middle of the arena all injured and unconscious, Zeus seemed a little tired and had a few injuries but he was mostly fine, just as Typhon landed Jayden jumped from Zeus’s seat and arrived beside the giant monster.
Touching it with both hands he began to absorb its energy immediately, then Zeus also landed there and looked at Jayden with a questioning gaze:
” Haha Your battle was magnificent, The Typhon is just as strong as I have heard so this is what it’s like from up close, but you are even more stronger than the rumours. ”
” Enough about that, tell me how do you know about Maia’s location and how do you know I am looking for her? ” Zeus asked, it seemed he would attack Jayden if a wrong answer came out of his mouth.
” I can tell you all that and I even have great ideas for you to seduce any woman you want without even changing your body. ”
Jayden said but this was not the answer Zeus needed, electric bolt began to revolve around his body and just as he was about to attack, Jayden added:
” Fine, I have really great hearing so I had heard Apollo’s conversation before, and I know about Maia’s location since I had heard somewhere about it before, you can choose to not trust me but I really wanted to befriend you, that’s why I even came forward. ”
Zeus stayed silent for a few seconds while Jayden stood with his hands against the giant creature, constantly absorbing as much energy as possible after all Typhon was stronger than almost all of the dragons.
” Come with me I have more to talk to you, and put Typhon in the cell, kill those responsible for freeing it. ”
Zeus ordered, and then he began to walk towards the high platform, the others wondered why Zeus was even bringing Jayden along.
