Chapter 712: Excited
“Why do I feel I have forgotten something? Well, whatever, let’s go sleep for a while; it will be dawn soon,” Jayden said as they all walked back to their rooms and fell onto their beds right away.

Xerome had gone to take a long bath since he had gotten a little dirty earlier with the first goblin prince’s blood, he was singing loudly in the bathroom. After some time, he got dressed in a new set of clothes.
Then he hummed to himself and walked back to the hall to resume the fun, but when he arrived, there was no one. Everyone had gone away, and they had all even forgotten about him.
“That damned Viser definitely must have remembered about me, but he left me here knowingly. Just you wait; I’ll get back at you for this the next time,” he spoke in anger, then a tired expression crossed his face, and he added:
“During the entire time, I was so busy that I didn’t even get the time to find a wife for myself. Haa, how am I going to find one?” Then he flew out of the hall.

Some distance away, inside a hotel, an ugly green creature with a thin body was walking around in the room while holding his head as the sound of his teeth clattering could be constantly heard in there.
“What am I going to say to father? First brother died just because of an accident. The news about it would travel to all the races soon, and we would be laughed at by everyone. Not only that, but even the witches have refused to keep any kind of business relationship with us in the future. Damnit, just where did it all go so wrong?” Thundrik shouted. A few goblins were standing in the room, all of them holding similar expressions.
“We even formed a relationship with the Coven, such a big organization, just to deal with that one vampire, and it still all amounted to nothing. How can I go back home? Yes, I’ll just put all the blame on Jayden and the witches. At least he won’t kill me, and I’ll inform him about that white-haired woman. With his lustful personality, father will even forget about his son’s death after just seeing that woman once,” Thundrik spoke, then he looked at the other goblins in the room.
“But, prince, he has also exposed our real identity to the entire world. There is no way we can keep doing business here like before. Our company must already be in shambles by now,” one of the goblins said.
“Yes, I am aware of that, but before doing anything else, we have to make sure to kill that vampire, no matter who we have to join hands with for that,” Thundrik added. He knew that Coven had also been suffering a lot of damage since the time of their war against the Remington family.
More than half of their members had already been killed, and only around a quarter were left now, so they were also pretty desperate, to the point that the Coven now promised to tell others the reason why they had constantly been attacking Jayden.
‘If it really is as big of a reason as they make it out to be, then Jayden might soon have his hands full of people coming to take that thing away from him, after which we will get our chance to kill him,’ Thundrik thought.

Just as Jayden had expected, the morning was quite lovely. The news and internet were filled with people talking about the things that happened at the party, and the company owned by the goblins was shut down immediately.
Many people even got on the roads for different rallies. A lot of people had gathered in front of various Night Corp offices, and with all that, Night Corp’s reputation and value had significantly risen.
News also came out that Night Corp was so easily able to find those creatures in such a short time, while Arcane never found out about them even though they had already taken over such a big enterprise and held so much power in their country. Many people believed that Arcane might be in cahoots with those goblins.
“And now we need to hold a press conference to tell others everything in detail. Haa, what a drag,” Jayden spoke in a tired voice, the sound of people from outside his house constantly ringing in his ears.
“Kate will take care of that. We can just relax for some time. To avoid all this noise, why don’t we just go out somewhere?” Sasha suggested. All of them were seated in the hall of their house.
“Okay, let’s go outside, but first let’s decide where we will be going,” Jayden spoke. Then all of them suggested different places, and in the end, Hecate told everyone that she would bring them to a completely different place.
Everyone changed into different clothes and packed a few things. When they were ready, they all gathered back in the hall. Soon Hecate arrived there and asked, “So, are all of you ready?”
Emma was holding a small camera in her hands since she wanted to take lots of pictures. In an excited tone, she asked, “Where are we going?”
“That’s a secret,” Hecate replied with a smile. Then she snapped her fingers as a portal appeared in front of them, and her body returned to its original form.
“Let’s go, Emi,” Alice shouted while holding Emma’s hand and showing a similar level of excitement. Both of them were the first to run into the portal.
The rest were excited too, so one by one, they all went into the portal. At last, Jayden and Hecate entered as the portal closed behind them.
“…” Emma was standing there holding the camera, but the place was so dark that they were only able to see around because of their abilities.
“I think you brought us to the wrong place,” Alice spoke. Even though they could see in darkness, that place only had some trees around and nothing else.
“No, this is the correct place,” Hecate replied, but before she could say any more, Eleanor interrupted her, “Then we must have come at the wrong time. Let’s come here during the day next time.”
“What are you talking about? It’s early morning in this place too,” Hecate spoke.
“When we said we wanted to go out and have some fun, this is certainly not what we meant. What are we going to do here, count stars? Boo, there aren’t even stars here. Even the sky is pitch black,” Xiao shouted, feeling frustrated. They all wanted to go somewhere nice, but this place seemed the opposite of that.

Emma took a photo, but even with the flashlight on, what appeared in the photo was just darkness.
“Brother, this place is scary,” Emma finally spoke, and her voice now sounded the exact opposite of the excitement she was feeling before.
“Wait, wait, just listen to me for a second-” Hecate tried to speak but they kept interrupting her.
