Chapter 724: Who are you?
After almost everyone had gone inside Jayden spoke: “Xerome, stay here I have something important to talk to you about.”
“Huh? Boss, what could it be? Is it urgent? I want to go inside and get stronger faster so I can get a lot of girls for me,” Xerome spoke with a laugh.
“All of you can go, it won’t take long.” Xiao, Hecate, and Eleanor were the only ones remaining outside aside from Xerome and Viser.
“Is everything alright?” Xiao questioned with a worried tone; for some reason, she was getting the feeling that something was terribly wrong.
“Yeah, don’t worry about it, it’s nothing serious,” Jayden replied with a shrug of his shoulder.
“Are you sure it’s nothing? If there is anything going on, then we could deal with it together. You know I’m not any weaker than you.”
Hecate said with a feeling of worry in her heart; she found it strange before she fell in love there were only very few things that could make her worry, but now just because he seemed a little strange her heart was filled with worries.
“Hey, don’t think too much about it, you are getting worried for no reason just go inside and start your training,” he said in a light tone. Hecate stared at his face for a few seconds then she glanced at Xerome and walked into the inheritance ground.

Xiao stood there looking at Jayden while pondering about something, then after a couple of minutes she asked in a low voice: “Should I leave the door to the inheritance ground open for you and Xerome?”
“…No, shut it close,” Jayden replied without any emotions on his face. Now Xiao was even more sure that something was definitely wrong, but she believed in him so she just nodded and hugged him while whispering into his ear: “You have to return safely, for all of us… for me.”
Then giving a kiss on his cheek she walked into the inheritance ground, and after Viser also went inside, the door to the ground closed. “But boss I had to go in too, where am I going to absorb the crystal now?” Xerome questioned with slumped shoulders.
“Let’s talk about all that later first. Why don’t you take your crystal heart out? I think I messed up yours a little,” Jayden said with an emotionless face.
“Huh? I don’t think so. It was exactly similar to the ones others had. Boss, please let me go there too. I want to increase my strength as fast as possible,” Xerome spoke.
“Just show it to me,” Jayden said with his eyes narrowed.

Xerome looked at Jayden for a few seconds then he nodded and said: “Fine, give me a sec.”
Saying that he raised his right hand and looked at the storage ring on his finger. After a few seconds, he began to rub it and then he shook his hand a few times.
Then Xerome looked at Jayden with a troubled expression and spoke in a panicked tone: “I- I think this ring is broken, oh no my crystal heart was still inside it. Boss, what should I do now? Why is it always me?”
“Let me see it,” Jayden said as he stepped forward with his gaze focused on Xerome, but in the next moment a crystal heart appeared in Xerome’s hand out of nowhere. Jayden had clearly felt that the ring was not activated, but the crystal heart seemed quite genuine.
“Haha, I was just joking, see, can I go there now?” Xerome said as he waved the crystal in front of Jayden’s eyes.
“That is not the dragon crystal heart, it’s fake,” Jayden spoke in a solemn tone, and in the next moment, the crystal in Xerome’s hand exploded like ordinary glass. If it was the original crystal heart, then Jayden wouldn’t have been able to destroy it so easily by just using his telekinesis.
“Nooo, boss what are you doing? What am I going to do now? What about all the ladies? I’m going to die single now,” Xerome almost sobbed as he fell onto his knees and picked up the pieces of the crystal.
“Enough of your charade, where is Xerome?” Jayden asked as he stood in front of the person sitting there.
“I… don’t understand what you mean by that. I am right here. Is there something wrong with you, boss?” Xerome asked as he stood up.
Releasing a long breath, Jayden felt that it was enough of idle chatting. His right hand moved forward as he clasped Xerome’s neck, then raising his body up he smashed Xerome into the ground. A loud explosive sound rang out, and a large crater was created there.
Jayden had used quite a bit of strength; it would have been more than enough to destroy Xerome’s body to pieces, but there was nothing more than some light bruises.
Xerome kicked Jayden’s belly as he took a couple of steps back. After creating some distance, Xerome stood up and rubbed his neck. Then looking at Jayden, he asked: “Ughh, you monster, my neck is hurting because of you. I thought we were just talking.”
After pausing for a moment, he stretched his neck and then added: “Since you are already aware of me, there is no need to talk bullshit. But I am quite curious, how did you come to know that I’m not that idiot?
Everything about me, my voice, my skin, my energy, my voice, the way I talk, the way I act, literally everything about me is exactly the same as Xerome to the very last detail. So how did you find out?”
With his eyes glowing blood red, Jayden stared at the fake Xerome and questioned: “Where is Xerome?”
“Well well, since you want to know so badly, then I’ll tell you…”

The previous day, Xerome had also come to the Night Corp building with Jayden; he came in the same car as Viser.
Xerome roamed all over the building to find any new female employee since the others had already rejected him, but after finding not a single beautiful new employee or customer, he decided to go out of the company.
Then Xerome and Viser had gone out together. They went to a few places, and when they were returning, Xerome asked Viser to return first since he still had some business to do.
“Yeah, I know what business you need to take care of. Which woman are you thinking of hitting on now?” Viser asked.
“I’ll tell you if she agrees. Now go away, I don’t want her to see me with you or she will think we are friends or something,” Xerome said as he pushed Viser away. While shaking his head, Viser walked away from there.
After looking at himself in the mobile, Xerome glanced at a beautiful young woman sitting inside a cafe. With a smile on his face, he approached her.
And contrary to his expectations, the woman didn’t outright ask him to leave. Then he began to talk to her, soon they were sitting together eating and laughing.
