Chapter 738: Ruler
The old man still seemed so much excited about meeting his daughter again, he was talking with his pet right now.
“You are back, can we go save her now?” The old man spoke with a glint in his eyes, he was believing Jayden’s words as if they were the truth said by God himself.
“No, you have to stay here and clean all the dirt,” Jayden said as he stopped in front of the old man.
“What do you mean by dirt? Do I need to sweep the entire place?” the old man questioned. He was ready to do anything on one of Jayden’s commands.
“Yes, you should sweep the entire place clean, but the dirt I’m referring to are the guards and the prisoners. I want to see if you really are capable or not, so before I come back to this place I want them all dead,” Jayden replied.
“Okay, I’ll do as you said.” The old man bowed in front of Jayden but then he remembered something.
Though he was not sure if he should really ask this or not, he did not want to anger Jayden as it would mean the death of his daughter.
But Jayden already knew what he was thinking. Looking into the eyes of the old man, he sent the pictures of a few people who had been captured in the prison and said:
“You can spare them all since they are all innocent, and we need to show the public that the new ruler is going to be better than the previous one.”
Hearing these words, the old man smiled and readily nodded, but before he walked away, Jayden also told him to spare Caleb Street, showing an image of him to the old man.
“So you are planning to take over the entire beast race?” Anna spoke as she finally understood what he wanted to do.
“Yes, something like that.” Jayden replied as he directly teleported to the top of the prison and began to look around. It was still bright outside, and the streets were bustling with a crowd.
From up above, Jayden could see how the land had been divided into two parts: one for the poor and weak and the other for the strong. The difference in the condition was too big for both societies.
Inside the beast tribe, aside from Malgor, there are a few other strong beings who are completely loyal to him; otherwise, it would be impossible for him alone to rule over such a big race and even stay safe from the outside attacks.
From the old man’s memories, Jayden had seen that there are three beings who work directly under Malgor. Two of them are beasts, while one is a person who is also the brains of the beast tribe.
“After I take over this place, I need to give this special present to Belphegor,” Jayden muttered as he looked over his ring, which had stored Bael’s eye.
“So are you planning to fight the entire army by yourself?” Anna questioned.
“I will if I have to, but there won’t be any need for that. I just need to kill the three strongest here first, and the rest will be easy,” he replied while scanning all over the place.
The old man didn’t know the locations of those three beings since he had been staying down there in the prison for so many years.
“Are you going to become the king? Then do you want to come here and leave the earth?” She questioned further.
“No, I am going to appoint someone as my representative here,” Jayden answered, and he finally found three presences all together inside a building.
“Is it the old man, or do you have someone else in mind?” She wondered.
“You’ll have to wait to know the answer to that.” Saying that, his body disappeared from there while the sound of painful screams began to ring out in the prison.
All the guards and criminals wondered just what had happened to the old man as he crazily began to butcher them one after another while releasing mad laughs.
“Tch. Stop copying me, I hate you.” Anna said and then went silent.
“…” Jayden was floating right over the building in which the three of them were present. They were moving around and seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Taking in a deep breath, Jayden decided to use his dragon breath but with only a little part of his strength since he did not want to burn everything around it.
*ROOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR*
The mixture of the Nether flames and the dragon aura instantly shot out of his mouth and completely devoured the entire building, turning it all into nothingness.
Aside from those three, there were a few other guards who died before they even knew what had happened.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO*
The loud sound shook the land, and a strong gust of air was released that was strong enough to knock all the people around off their feet. They just stared at the terrifying explosion and ran away from there, keeping their curiosity within them.
“…” Jayden stayed still and waited for everything to settle. The attack was not strong enough to kill any of the three.
Soon the burned bodies of the three men came into view. They coughed and slowly began to float into the air while looking around for an enemy.
Even though two of them were beasts, all three possessed the exact same appearance of a person in his early twenties.
By the time they arrived at the same height as Jayden, only one of them had healed while the other two remained injured. Jayden was assessing their abilities and strength.
But in the next moment, the injuries of all three of them began to heal, just like the first beast, though Jayden was sure that only one of them possessed the healing skills, which exposed another of their abilities.
“So they can share abilities among themselves, that’s nasty. No wonder they all look the same,” Anna spoke.
“What do you think, Anna, are they stronger or weaker than Malgor?” Jayden mumbled, keeping his gaze on them while they were looking back at him.
“Individually, they are weaker, but if together, I think they can defeat Malgor without much trouble. This ability alone seems quite irritating, so unless you kill all three, they will keep attacking you, and who knows what other skills they possess.” She replied.
“Hmmm, so this might take some time, I guess.” But just as he spoke, he sensed something.
He looked in the direction where the Earth was; he could feel that the Rakshasa was currently fighting against a few goblins and vampires. They had attacked the company building.
Jayden understood that the alliance of those three must be trying to provoke him. For a few seconds, Jayden just stayed still. He was ready to return if the enemy was too strong or too many in numbers for Rakshasa alone.
But within a single minute, Rakshasa had killed all the intruders and then hid himself back in the Night Corp building. Then he finally retracted his senses from there.
