Chapter 747: Hideout
Observing the other goblins, Jayden began to move forward. The storage was located deep in the forest, and a few vampires were also placed at its entrance.
The others glanced at him but didn’t find anything strange, so they just kept doing what they were doing. He soon noticed that all the goblins moving deeper into the forest were carrying something.
After taking a look around, he moved behind one of the guys. He wanted to use teleportation but didn’t, since there was a chance that there was a device which could detect spatial energy.
Instead, he moved at a speed faster than they could notice. First, he hit the throat of the goblin who was walking at the back, killing it instantly.
Then he threw it away and took the thing that the goblin was carrying. Of course, there was a noise, and all the goblins in the group looked behind. Jayden did the same; he also turned his head to look behind as if he had heard some noise.
“Let’s continue,” one of the goblins spoke after seeing that nothing was wrong. So, along with that group, Jayden began to move towards the storage, and now it was even easier.
From time to time, some of the goblins would talk to each other. Jayden just responded with simple answers, and after a while, he was finally able to see a hill with a gate attached to it.
“I’ll bring them all to the entrance; you can leave them here,” the goblin at the front of the group spoke after they had arrived close to the big gate.
Jayden placed the item down but then looked into the eyes of all the goblins one by one. They were all much weaker than him, so he easily succeeded in changing their memories.
Picking up one item, Jayden walked to the entrance where quite a lot of goblin guards were stationed and even vampires were placed for security. At that place, they began a new set of tests, but Jayden just controlled them and made them open the gate.
After which he walked inside. Putting the item in his hand down, he began to look around. There really were a lot of items placed all over the place, but it was not a big hall; instead, it was more like a cave-like structure.
“Do you still not feel Xerome’s presence?” Anna questioned.
“No, and that is the thing that is worrying me the most,” he replied, as the frown on his face intensified.
Jayden was not interested in any of these treasures, no matter how great they may be. He just wanted to find his family member, who is the biggest troublemaker but also makes everyone laugh.
“If I can’t find him here, then I will have no choice but to go to the goblin planet,” Jayden mumbled. He was hoping that whether or not Xerome was here, he just needed to be fine.
The cave seemed to be moving forever, and as he went deeper, the number of treasures decreased, but they were all much more precious. Jayden was moving slowly, since he was properly scanning every nook and cranny of the cave; after all, they might have even hidden him in the most unexpected places.
There were no goblin or vampire guards placed inside. Instead, many gadgets were placed for security. Since Jayden had not touched anything so far, they had not targeted him yet.
“Wait, what’s in that glass room?” Anna’s voice sounded in his head. Jayden’s eyes were already fixed on it.
This was already the end of the cave, and finally, he saw something where Xerome could be present.
It was a cuboid-shaped glass box more than two meters in height and around one meter in width and length. From outside, it was almost impossible to see what was inside, as it appeared to be just empty.
“I think I won’t be able to open it without breaking it,” Jayden mumbled and walked closer to it. He touched its surface; his heart was beating madly, and his head was filled with all types of thoughts.
He looked around for a while. There was nothing about this glass box in anyone’s memories, so he had to figure it out himself. After looking around, he didn’t find anything strange about the glass box; there was literally nothing on its surface.
Jayden floated to take a look at its surface and then did see something.
“Looks like someone stupid forgot to close the box properly. Try pushing up that side,” Anna said with anticipation in her voice.
Jayden nodded and easily pulled up the top face of the glass box. As soon as he did, all sides of the box disappeared. They were still there, but Jayden could now see through them and even more through that glass.
He landed on the ground and looked inside. There was a table present, and on that table was what he was looking for.

On the goblin planet, all three parties of the alliance were having another meeting since their plan to attack the Night Corp had failed, and they had not been able to find Jayden or anyone else from his family.
“So, what are you going to do now? Are we just going to stick to these cheap tricks? Let’s just do something big like we did back then when we kidnapped Xerome,”
Malgor spoke, as he picked a candy-like thing from the table in front of him and threw it in his mouth. As he sucked it, his mouth was filled with a salty taste.
“That was your doing. You did it without telling any of us. He has not attacked us already since he is not aware whether or not Xerome is alive. And if he did end up finding him, then he is going to bring hell to this place,” the Coven member sitting at the center of the three spoke.
“You are worrying for nothing. I have exchanged a few blows with him, and he didn’t seem like much to me.
The only reason I even allowed him to live was because it would be so boring to kill him in one go. And it’s not like he could ever find that place, right?” Malgor said as he picked up a couple more candies and ate them.
“Of course, he would never be able to find it. It’s so well hidden that unless someone from the inside tells him, he would never reach there, and he wouldn’t expect it to be on Earth. You are worrying for nothing, and with all of us here, we can just kill him together.”
The goblin spoke with a laugh and drank wine. Only the Coven members seemed to be worried among the group of three since they had gone against him in the past and knew that Jayden definitely isn’t as weak as Malgor is defining.
“In any case, we have to plan out the next steps to deal with that vampire as soon as possible,” Malgor spoke, as he threw few more candies in his mouth.
