Chapter 750: Catastrophe-2
“If we want to live to see the next day, if we want to protect our families, then we have no choice but to destroy that sun and kill the person responsible for it.
Let’s attack at the same time,” Gunter shouted to motivate all the goblins, and hearing his speech, they all cheered.
‘Tch, such cliché lines, that’s why I hate dumb people,’ Malgor thought.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
Then at the same time, all of them launched themselves toward the sun, ready to release all of their energies at the same time.
They flew up at an incredible speed, the heat becoming unbearable the closer they all got to the purple sun.
*BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG*
Just as they arrived at the outer layer of the planet and were about to move into the forest, all of them collapsed against an invisible wall that was surrounding the entire planet, and it was strong enough to ensure all that.
“What?!! He had covered the entire planet with such a strong wall? Just how much energy does he possess?” Malgor shouted in astonishment.
“Damn it, this is no time to chat. Let’s hurry to destroy this wall first, and only then will we be able to get rid of that,” Gunter roared.
“Hit at the same spot; that way, it would be faster,” the Coven member suggested.
Many of the goblins had gotten injured by the last collision, but they collected themselves and got ready to release attacks again.
*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*
At the same time, they all began to attack the wall relentlessly, but their attacks were having no effect while the purple sphere was just getting bigger with each passing moment, making it difficult for all of them to breathe.
Looking back at the others, Gunter noticed that they wouldn’t be able to hold on for much longer, so he stopped for a moment and gave a loud shout:
“We aren’t getting anywhere like this. Everyone move away! Malgor, Coven, let’s just blow that thing apart.”
Everyone followed his lead; all the goblins moved away while only the three Coven members, Malgor, and Gunter remained there. They gathered a large amount of energy and at the same time released the attack.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
A strong wave was created by the attack, which threw everyone back, and finally, they had succeeded in creating a hole in the surface of the wall.
Without wasting any time, the five of them rushed out of that hole, but it closed up in the next moment, not giving others the chance to move out.
“Tch, it’s like he had predicted it all.” Gunter clicked his tongue, and now as he looked at the third sun, it felt even more astronomical; it seemed to be burning the space itself.
“Good luck, Gunter. I’ll treat you to something good if you manage to survive this. Hahaha!” Malgor laughed maniacally and moved away from the group, and in the next instant, he just disappeared.
“That fucking bastard, it’s all because of him that this is happening. He kidnapped that family member of Jayden, and now he ran away. I’m going to butcher him the next time we meet… that is, if I could survive.”
Gunter screamed madly. Even though Malgor had a shitty attitude, he is strong, so now the chances of stopping the destruction were even slimmer.
Gunter glanced back at the three vampires, wondering if they were planning to run away too. As if sensing his question, they spoke:
“We are not running away. Our mission is to kill Jayden, and to accomplish that, we are going to do whatever it takes.”
Gunter heaved a sigh of relief; if they had also decided to leave, then it would have been impossible to stop it, but now at least there was a chance.
“Do you have any plan to stop it?” the Coven member asked.
“Yes, I have a treasure that could be of help. It has the ability to attract large amounts of energy toward itself.
Then, using it, we would be able to move that energy away from here, and after that thing explodes, Jayden would be in a state of weakness, and that would be our only chance at killing him,”
Gunter replied as he took out something that looked like a simple pen from his pocket and showed it to others.
“Okay, just tell us what we have to do. We will deal with that beast king after we are fine here,” the Coven member said.
Even the four of them had started to have difficulty being so close to that sphere of energy, while most of the goblins on the land had already fallen unconscious; they were in grim conditions.
“You just need to stay there and…” After moving closer to the group of three vampires, Gunter added, “And become the sacrifice to save my people. I’m sorry.”
*STAB*
He moved as fast as possible and stabbed one side of the pen inside the chest of the strongest of the three, while the two just stared at this scene in disbelief. They didn’t think he would be this vicious.
“Ahhhhhhh! Stoooopppp itttt! Uuaaaaaaaaahhhhh!” the Coven member released a beastly scream.
That gadget was making him go through intense torture; it destroyed all of his insides and kept pulling all the energy, blood, and flesh from his body.
“Stop that, you ungrateful green wretch. You deserve death, lowly goblin ki—ugh!”
Just as the second vampire attacked Gunter, the Goblin King easily blocked the attack and then thrust his hand into the chest of the vampire and tore it apart.
He pulled the heart out and then stabbed it into the backside of the pen, and a similar-looking pen appeared over the second vampire’s body too.
The last Coven member knew he was no match for the Goblin King, so he turned around in hope of escape.
But Gunter was prepared. He threw a dagger toward the back of the third vampire, which disappeared and then reappeared inside his body.
Then the size of the knife suddenly increased as it tore apart the entire body of the last vampire.
The pen began to absorb the bodies of all three vampires as they screamed madly, but Gunter was drenched in sweat because of the heat and nervousness. Each moment that was being wasted was bringing the entire goblin race to extinction.
It took an entire minute for the pen to absorb the entire bodies of the vampires. He pointed its tip towards the purple sphere and mumbled:
“I’m sorry, but I wouldn’t have been able to do this without collecting so much energy. In the future, I’ll help Coven in any way I can, and I’ll make up for it, so please just help me destroy that thing.”
The small and ordinary-looking pen was one of Gunter’s best treasures. He had always kept it and never used it even when he had to fight other races.
He kept it hidden to use against an overwhelmingly powerful enemy, someone exactly like Jayden.
“DIIIIIIEEEEEEE!” Gunter roared as he shot the energy from the treasure towards the energy sphere.
