Chapter 762: Life
“Emma, are you ready?” Jayden asked as he sat on his chair and put the earphones on.
“Yesss,” Emma shouted while raising both of her arms in the air. She was wearing small headphones.
“Then let’s dive into it.” Saying that, Jayden turned the computer on and saw that the game was already purchased and installed. Kate had done everything perfectly.
Jayden then dimmed the lights and clicked on the game. It was an action-adventure game, open world with great graphics.
The loudspeakers were placed around the room to give realistic sound, and even the table and chairs vibrated slightly according to the game.
Jayden and Emma both actually felt as if they had teleported inside it. Soon, Jayden began to play, and Emma watched with excitement. He limited his senses and was playing the game in hard mode.

“Haa, it was better than I expected. Just three chapters, and it was so awesome,” Jayden said after playing the game for a few hours. Since they would have to return home soon, he had reluctantly shut it off for now.
“Emi, do you want to play something too?” Jayden asked, as there was still some time before they had to go back.
“No, let’s watch anime,” Emma suggested excitedly.
‘It feels like… I have been raising her well, she is going to be great once she grows up,’ Jayden thought as he looked at Emma proudly.
“Yes, you are doing great at making her a nerd. I don’t know what’s so interesting about some cartoon and those games, when you have seen much more wonderful things in real life,” Anna spoke, shaking her head.
‘You won’t know it even if I explain now, so once you come here, I’ll show just how interesting these things are. They are so creative and show all kinds of emotions,’ Jayden thought. Then he spoke:
“Sure, let’s watch something.”
Soon they were watching a comedy anime. The lights in the room were softer now, and the sound was also adjusted based on the use.

“What a great day after all these days. To be honest, I prefer times like these over meaningless fights,” Jayden mumbled as he stood up and walked out of his office.
“Well, it’s too late now. You are already connected to the supernatural world, so even if you try to live normally now, they would never leave you alone,” Anna replied.
She could understand what he meant. After all, she used to fight a lot too, going to different places and defeating one opponent after another.
But in the end, she didn’t just want to keep fighting for the rest of her life. She enjoyed peaceful life too, and enjoyed time with her family, but she was dragged back into the fights again, and in the end, she lost everything.
“Yes, I know, and I am not thinking of running away. I still have so much to do. I have to free you, help goddess Damuda- though I have not been hearing anything from her for quite a while now.
Maybe she is busy with that tournament thing. Anyway, I need to help Seraphina too now, and a whole bunch of other things,” Jayden said, and he knew all of them were going to be quite dangerous.
“Good luck with all that, but I wonder how strong everyone has become now. There should be a huge leap in their strength,” Anna wondered.
“Hmm, we will have to check it out later,” he replied.
Emma was walking beside Jayden. She wondered who he was talking to, but she didn’t interrupt and focused on eating the ice cream in her hands.
“Are you all done?” Jayden asked as he saw his wives and the others.
“Yes, there wasn’t much to check here. Everything is going on smoothly, and we are stable at the 2nd position in the country,” Sasha replied.
Their profits had increased by a lot after they had made a partnership with the Queens group.
Especially because of the gadgets that are made of body parts of Invaders.
All those things have become quite popular in such a short time, but no other company can produce them, so Night Corp and Queens are the only ones who sell those things on the market.
Jayden looked around and saw that Xerome and Viser weren’t there. Sighing, he asked:
“Where are Xerome and Viser?”
“They left a while ago. Xerome dragged Viser outside, and he was talking about drinking and getting girls,” Sophie answered. She was sitting in front of a computer and had also started to help with the work of the company.
“Sigh, he never changes, anyway…” Jayden looked around, searching for Alice. He had even put a chair for her in his room since he believed that Alice would also be interested in it.
But she didn’t come and was just sitting there. Jayden could feel that she was not in a good mood, so he decided to talk to her alone.
“I’m sure Xerome and Viser will be fine, so let’s go back now,” Jayden said, and the rest nodded. So after wrapping up things, they walked out of the company building.
Jayden stayed behind, and after everyone had gone outside, he called Kate.
“So, did you release the news about that terrorist group?” Jayden asked.
“Yes, boss, I have already released that news on as many news outlets as I could. A lot of people are already showing us support online.
They are already forgetting about the incidents with the invaders earlier,” Kate answered as he checked all the comments online.
“Hmmm, good. The terrorist group will be destroyed by tomorrow. You can release this news too,” Jayden said after thinking for a minute.
“…”, Kate was surprised by his words, but after getting over his surprise, he cleared his throat and spoke:
“Okay, I’ll release that news immediately, even though you are making me work overtime. Ugh, my wife is going to be angry at me again today.”
“Then you can leave for today, and just do it tomorrow. It wouldn’t be good if she leaves you just because you weren’t able to give her enough time, right?” Jayden said, patting Kate’s shoulder.
“Y-Yes, Boss, thank you,” Kate replied. After bowing in front of Jayden, Kate also decided to call it a day.
Jayden walked outside as he took his mobile and called the puppet witch.
“So, how can I help you today, Mr. VIP sir? Hehe, I heard about all the things you did. I’m impressed, not only for the beast race but even the goblin planet. That’s commendable,” the puppet witch spoke from the other side of the call.
“Yeah, it wasn’t much. Anyway, you must have already heard about that terrorist organization that threatened my company, right?” Jayden asked.
“Yes, I heard about them. They are a rather impulsive type of people and seem naive too,” the puppet witch spoke with a chuckle. Then she questioned: “So you want information about that group?”
“Yes,” he answered.
“Well, they are actually quite interesting. I’m sure you would want to pay them a visit after you hear about them.”
