Chapter 764: Father
“Oh right, I wonder how the prince of this kingdom is. He was in love with you, right?” Jayden spoke, but Alice just shrugged her shoulders.
She had forgotten about him a long time ago, and if Jayden hadn’t mentioned him, Alice wouldn’t even have remembered that the person she was previously engaged to lived in this kingdom.
“Anyway, let’s go to my house,” Alice said. Then they began to fly towards her kingdom.
The speed of both of them was so fast that it didn’t take them long to leave the Warwitalm Kingdom as they arrived in the Froprirth Kingdom.
“This place looks nice, your father must be a good king,” Jayden spoke.
“Yes, he takes care of everyone in the kingdom and is fair. Out of all five of the kingdoms, Froprirth was the one with the highest development and peace,” Alice spoke. It looked like she could talk about her father all day.
Before, she was angry at her father since she thought he had sold her to the prince of the Warwitalm Kingdom, but only later did she find out that he was just trying to protect her from the evil factions.
They both looked around as they flew over the place, they had even slowed down their speed greatly.

Not too far away, inside a big and luxurious hall, a lot of people were gathered, and the king was seated on his throne.
His ministers, generals, and the representatives of his subjects were all gathered in front of him.
“Your majesty, it’s getting difficult with time to defend our territory. We are surrounded from all sides, and none of the kingdoms or factions are ready to side with us.
The Kingdom of Warwitalm is the one leading this war. It’s all because the princess left the king of that place and disappeared that all this is happening,”
The first minister, who was above all the other ministers, spoke.
The king was sitting on the throne while rubbing his forehead. After Alice had disappeared, all the kingdoms were at peace; there were no wars, and they all focused on the development of their kingdoms.
But just a few years had passed, and the evil dark faction that was previously slaughtered was replaced by new people who were just as sinister, if not more.
The two kingdoms, Neptune, which was ruled previously by Albert, and Develdion, which was ruled by Stephen, both remained without a king after those two people died. But not long after, six women took charge of the kingdoms.
And they actually managed to rule these kingdoms much better than their previous kings, though those women were more focused on their cultivation, and one day, suddenly, all six of them disappeared.
Some said that they had left the planet after their strength surpassed a certain level.
So those two kingdoms were in a state of chaos again, but surprisingly, the king of Warwitalm attacked the two kingdoms one by one and took complete power over them.
Not long after, he attacked the fourth kingdom too, Dradevows, Diana’s planet, and defeated it with the power of three kingdoms. So now he held the power of four whole kingdoms.
[ A/N: The king of Warwitalm was called Jayden too, as I had said in Chapter 26, the one who was replaced by Jayden. So to avoid confusion, I’ll just use J to refer to the king. ]
At first, Darius, Alice’s father, just focused on his kingdom, but then he noticed that J’s hunger wouldn’t stop until he had swallowed everything. And since Alice had left him, he was hell-bent on destroying his kingdom.
He was such a kind boy before, but he changed completely at some point. Even the new holy and dark factions wanted to reap some benefits from all of this.
“Then what do you suggest? Should I just allow him to swallow this kingdom? Alice wasn’t my property; she can do whatever she wanted, and I would never have used her to gain anything even if she was here,” Darius spoke.
All these problems were taking a toll on him; he was constantly under pressure, and the others could attack him at any time.
“Still, as the king of this kingdom, you have some responsibilities.
We can’t do anything about the princess now since she isn’t here, so you should go meet J and fulfill whatever his conditions are,” the first minister spoke.
His height was below average, and there was a big belly that jumped up and down each time he spoke.
“…” Darius frowned. He already knew what J’s demands were.
He wanted to know Alice’s location, which Darius wouldn’t have told him even if he knew.
Aside from that condition, J wanted him to hand over his kingdom to him and also receive punishment in front of everyone.
“Sir, we are no match for them. It is only a matter of time before they slaughter us all if it continues like this. We have to come up with a solution,” the head knight spoke. He was one of Darius’ personal guards.
‘J has become a madman, he isn’t listening to anything I say, so no matter what we do, he is going to destroy this kingdom. I don’t know for how much longer we can hold on like this,’ Darius thought, releasing a tired sigh.
“Is there really a need to think? We are no match for J’s army. The more we delay, the more brutal he will become.
Isn’t it way better if the king would sacrifice himself to protect all his subjects?” the first minister spoke.
It was as if he was no longer even trying to hide the fact that he was already sold out. Darius was sure that he might already be sending internal news to the enemies.
But even after knowing that, Darius could do nothing to him, since in such tough times, punishing him would only divide his subjects into two sides, as there were many followers of the first minister too.
And right now, civil war is the last thing that he wanted; it would become much easier for the enemies to destroy them.
“There is no guarantee that he would spare anyone in the kingdom, and seeing his brutality, I am sure he would slaughter everyone here,” Darius said. He wondered if his approach as a king was wrong.
He just wanted to be good to his people and develop a place where everyone would be happy and safe.
That’s why he didn’t even think of attacking other kingdoms. Maybe if he were more ambitious, they would still have a chance left.
“Sigh. Send a message to J, I will go to meet him myself,” Darius said. Despite knowing that if he went there, it would be impossible for him to survive, it was practically suicide.
The first minister immediately got happy after hearing this news. Nodding his round head, he spoke: “Hehe, yes, your majesty. I will send this news right this instan-”
“Father!!” Just then, they all heard a sweet voice from the door. They all turned their heads to look in that direction at the same time.
