Chapter 775: She is a Blake?
Jayden began to float in the air, then he hid his presence and observed the surroundings. He didn’t let his senses go near the place where Zeus was present.
After all, there was a chance that he might be able to sense him. Then Jayden made sure that Apollo was no longer keeping an eye on him. After the incident that happened earlier, he must be even more cautious of Jayden.
‘I guess everyone is busy here with their own work right now,’ Jayden thought. Then he opened a portal in front of himself, directly leading him towards the coliseum he once fought in.
Currently, it was night there too, and no fights were taking place, so the coliseum was empty, except for the guards who were keeping an eye on everything.
After the incident when Jayden had come there to get the Nemean Lion and caused chaos, the security had increased since this place is used to entertain the God of Gods, Zeus.
And if he got angry, then he would just kill them all and destroy everything. Jayden didn’t care about this place or the people here; after the creation of the coliseum, most of them had already gone crazy.
They don’t see the slaves as people and act like beasts. Only because of Zeus, a lot of things on the planet had changed, and in the future, this planet won’t even exist.
Jayden was moving freely. These people didn’t notice him, and even if they saw him, just one glance into his eyes was enough to make them forget everything.
He walked casually and headed towards the place where the strongest prisoners were kept. Most of them had already died at Jayden’s hand.
“One, two, three, hmmm… There are only five strong presences here, and only one of them is strong enough to put up a fight against Hecate, at least for a few seconds. Well, it’s better than nothing. Guess I’ll take them all,” Jayden muttered to himself.
Several guards were placed around every prisoner, especially the strongest one, who had the highest number of guards around them. They were all quite strong, but still nothing in front of Jayden.
“Now there is not even any thrill in killing these weaker ones. Anyway, Anna, is there really no one left from your family?
From the memories of the vampires I have seen so far, the Blake family was one of the strongest count families, but just how did everything come to an end?” Jayden asked.
There were so many things he had been curious about.
“Yes, my family was quite big. There were many others who were strong, and I was there too, but the opponents attacked me when I was at my weakest.
At that time, there was a task that only I could have done along with the vampire king. It was for the person I have told you about before,” Anna spoke, then she paused.
“Hmmm, the person whom you had a crush on? Then why didn’t the vampire king help you? And who was it that attacked your family specifically? What was the reason why they attacked you?”
Jayden asked, as he released a mental attack that knocked all the guards unconscious. Then he proceeded to take the prisoners who were properly chained.
“It wasn’t an individual who attacked my family, and they attacked me to stop me from doing something very important—more important than my own life.
Also, they wanted to take away the Dimensional Stone that was in my possession at that time, after he had just sacrificed himself to protect this universe,” Anna spoke, her tone sounding sad.
Jayden was surprised to hear the name of the Dimensional Stone, the thing that had enough power to destroy the entire universe or even create an entirely new one—the heart of their universe.
But from what he knows, the Dimensional Stone is currently inside his body, and a tiny piece of it is in Emma’s body, the thing that is keeping her alive and has made her life so difficult at the same time.
“So how did the Dimensional Stone end up inside my body? And what about Emma? How come she has that tiny fragment of the stone if it’s that precious?” Jayden questioned as new questions kept popping into his head.
“The Dimensional Stone was delivered to the place where it was meant to be, and as for Emma, her father was a human, but her mother… she was a vampire, someone from my Blake family,” she replied.
Jayden’s steps immediately halted. He was even more shocked to hear this news than any of the earlier ones, since he was sure when he first saw Emma, she was a human, and Jayden had even seen her father too before he died.
“Emma’s mother was a vampire from the Blake family? But I thought a human and a vampire couldn’t have a child, when even among vampires it takes so many years for a female vampire to get pregnant.
Then Emma is indirectly a Blake? But when I first saw her, she was just a human, and she didn’t even have any abilities—not even heightened hearing.
Also, if she was born at that time, then why is she still so little?” Jayden asked. He couldn’t move forward until his doubts were cleared.
“Yes, she is related to the Blake family. Her mother was one of my younger sisters, and even I don’t know how it happened between a human and a vampire, so we kept the news of her pregnancy a secret.
But in the end, it was clear that we wouldn’t be able to defy nature, and we found out that the girl in my sister’s belly had already died. It was devastating, and there was already a lot going on.
I don’t know either how, but it was the Dimensional Stone itself that saved her at that time; otherwise, no one would have been able to break even a tiny piece off of it.
The reason why Emma is still so young is because she was born in an unnatural way. It probably took a long time for the tiny core of the Dimensional Stone to combine with her body, and all that time, she remained inside the womb.
After the Blake family was destroyed, only one person carrying that surname, aside from me, remained alive—my sister.
She stayed on Earth with her husband, carrying that baby, and after several years, Emma was born. She was perfectly normal, though she was born without any vampiric abilities. And right after giving birth to her, even my sister died…”
Anna completed the story, her voice filled with sadness and rage.
But Jayden couldn’t understand just what was so important to her that she sacrificed everything and was now captured somewhere, feeling this pain for years.
“…”
Jayden didn’t know what to say. There was a lot going on in his mind. He had more questions to ask, but he didn’t think this would be the right time for it.
Unlike before, when Anna always refused to give him any answers and just pushed the topic away, now she had told him quite a lot.
