Chapter 797: The rematch-2
A huge crater formed exactly behind Jayden just because of the air pressure that the weapon carried, but it was no able to inflict any kind of damage to his body.
Jayden turned the trishul to vertical and held the shaft in his left hand. Raising his right hand, Jayden looked at his palm.
An almost invisible mark had appeared on his skin, but the trishul was not able to pierce it, and the mark disappeared instantly; he had successfully stopped the attack.
“Excellent, you have surpassed my expectations; your growth truly is shocking,” Shiva spoke. Even though the two were about to fight, there was no animosity between them.
“…” Without saying anything, Jayden rotated the trishul in his hands a couple of times, then he threw the weapon back, saying, “Nice weapon; anyway, should we truly start now?”
The entire place had completely gone silent. For a few seconds, the two of them just stood in their positions, their auras beginning to flood out of their bodies, making the land around them crack.
*BOOM* *BOOM*
Two loud explosions sounded, and craters appeared under the feet of both of them as they pushed their bodies forward.
Of course, they weren’t going all out from the start; otherwise, their stomps alone would have been enough to shatter the entire planet.
Shiva was holding the trishul in his left hand; a blue-colored aura was exploding out of his body, his long black hair floating in the air as he displayed his form as the God of Destruction.
Jayden’s body tore through the air, his white hair fighting against the wind; even the kings of most races wouldn’t be able to see his body, and only a blur would be visible.
Just as they both got close high up in the air, Jayden threw a punch with his right hand, swinging it with as much force as he could muster. Several cracks had appeared in the space by that short swing of his arm.
Shiva threw his right hand too.
Their fists had not even met yet; there was a space of a few centimeters between them, but the strength of both was so high that even time and space itself became an obstruction to stop the collision.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
Even so, a large explosion took place. Both Jayden and Shiva were pushed back, and a large part of the planet was instantly destroyed; cracks constantly appeared in the space and healed immediately.
They both skidded back several kilometers, but neither of them had received any injury from that simple attack.
This was just like a greeting for them, though their greeting was quite devastating for the planet and the space.
Purple flames erupted from Jayden’s body, and instantly he was engulfed by the Nether fire, as if he himself had become a volcano.
The flames instantly increased the temperature of the planet, making it extremely hot.
Shiva passed the trishul to his right hand and touched his hair, then as if pulling something out of it, he threw it towards the land.
Jayden was in no hurry to attack; this was not a death battle, and in the next instant, countless dead beings rose from the ground, releasing a strong feeling of resentment into the air.
Shiva stood a long distance away from Jayden, his body tall and straight as he held his weapon, his gaze fixed on his opponent. In between them, countless dead beings filled the entire land.
The entire army began to run towards Jayden as if they were about to tear apart his body.
Jayden smirked and just stomped his feet. Purple flames burst forth and rushed into the planet, as if the entire planet was being filled with the Nether fire to the core.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
All the areas where the dead army was running—even the sky—were completely devoured by the purple flames as they erupted from the depths of the planet, swallowing them all, not leaving any trace of the dead army.
The entire planet was now covered with purple-colored molten lava; the temperature rose further.
Their battle would have attracted everyone, but Jayden and Shiva had both covered the entire area with a layer, stopping others from sensing the battle.
Jayden suddenly disappeared and appeared exactly on top of Shiva. Without wasting a beat, he swung his leg and breathed in a large amount of air.
Shiva raised the trishul to parry Jayden’s attack as he sensed the extreme pressure descending upon him from above.
The strength behind Jayden’s kick was a lot stronger than his earlier punch, and Shiva didn’t take it lightly.
*BAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG*
Just as Jayden’s leg came into contact with the top of the trishul, it seemed as if the entire planet had become dark for a moment, and it shook violently. Whole Shiva was pushed back and skidded a long distance.
*ROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR*
But before he could even stop, a bluish fire that was a mixture of the dragon’s breath and Nether fire swallowed him completely, burning everything around him while it also contained a strong sound attack.
Right now, Jayden’s strongest ability was ‘CREATION,’ but without enough mental strength, he couldn’t use it properly.
So his current strongest form was the Nether dragon, which he was yet to try, and Jayden didn’t have any intention of using that form in this fight.
Jayden was throwing out flames constantly, pushing Shiva even further back. His skin was slightly burned, but because of his extreme healing ability, it looked like he was not receiving any damage.
Even Anna was watching this fight with great interest.
She was seeing Shiva fight for the first time, and as for Jayden, she was really curious about his current limits. For quite some time, he had just been devouring strong beings one after another.
This was even more so after he came to the Greek land; he even absorbed beings and monsters that gave a pretty hard time to the gods, so his strength was bound to be splendid.
But Anna was still astonished by his capabilities.
Even though they were both holding back, their strength was already so high; even from afar, Anna felt her own battle intent rising. She too wanted to join such an exciting battle.
*WHOOSH*
A figure suddenly flew out of the area where the flames were burning. Shiva halted high in the sky, then pointed his trishul towards Jayden and began to descend as his speed kept increasing.
He was like a rocket; fire began to burn around his body, and wherever the blades of the trishul passed, space was being cut open.
Jayden finally stopped releasing the flames. He turned his gaze towards the approaching figure.
He pulled both his hands apart on either side of his body, then filling them with his strength, he brought them forward at an incredible speed.
The sound of the clap was like a loud explosion, and a strong wave of energy and air was released.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO*
Just as Shiva appeared a meter away from Jayden’s body, the strong wave pushed him back, throwing him several kilometers away and creating a large distance between the two.
