Chapter 800: The Gathering of Devils
Jayden was already aware of his origins now; he was originally a dragon, but then how did the dimensional stone end up in his body, and how did he get the heart of the first dragon? These doubts still lingered in his mind.
…
As the scenes kept changing, soon Jayden saw a scene in which many of the Greek gods were present at the same place, and in front of them, Jayden saw himself standing. Beside him were Hecate and Shiva.
It was most probably the scene from the future where Jayden would end up fighting against Zeus and other Greek gods, but he hadn’t expected even Shiva to help him in his battle.
But this scene didn’t remain for long as Jayden flew ahead; he even saw the scene where countless beings were fighting against an entity from outside their universe.
That was the biggest fight of their universe, which brought a lot of changes along with it, and so many people died.
Jayden clearly saw that one being fighting without much effort against the kings of different races.
But even after working together, they were barely able to hold him back. Though as the battle continued, they got at a disadvantage, and it was obvious that sooner or later they were going to be defeated.
…
Before Jayden could observe the battle any longer, the scene changed. His head seemed heavy, and after going through this path for so long, Jayden was feeling a severe pain in his head.
“Just when is it going to stop?” he thought while watching all kinds of fragments of the past, present, and future.
Some were completely irrelevant, like the kids of some race playing or seeing the death of a person, while some events brought surprises to Jayden.
He saw countless massacres and the lives of different people, and many such events.
These scenes seemed to be arranged in a random order.
Finally, Jayden felt his head getting heavier and heavier, so mustering all his strength, he pushed himself away from the flow of space and time.
Jayden wasn’t able to see anything, but he accidentally entered one of those parts and disappeared while time continued to flow without any changes.

In the dark sky, suddenly a bright light flashed, and a person came out of it; he was several hundred meters high in the sky.
It was impossible to see clearly because of the dark, but that figure began to fall down freely towards the ground at a fast speed.
*BAAAAM*
Jayden fell onto the ground, creating a crater under him, as dust and debris flew around and a loud sound rang out in the empty surroundings.
Jayden’s clothes were in bad shape after his fight with Shiva; his head was filled with pain, and it took him a few minutes for his senses to completely return.
Jayden’s healing was even better than Shiva’s, and even though his mental strength was low, it only took a few minutes for him to feel completely refreshed.
“Ha! Where am I? I had expended quite a bit of my energy in that battle, but still, it was fun,” Jayden spoke as he stood up inside the crater, looked over himself, and brushed off the dust.
“Huh? How did you end up here?” Anna was surprised; she wasn’t able to see what had happened in that space-time tunnel. Just like the previous time, for her, it seemed as if he had suddenly traveled to a completely different place.
“Actually, after our last clash, I was thrown into the space-time tunnel or something, and then I saw various fragments of the past, present, and future…” Jayden explained the events to Anna while observing his surroundings.
Although it was pitch dark, Jayden’s vision wasn’t obscured by the darkness of the night; he was able to see as clearly as if everything was bright.
The land had small grass growing all over it, a half moon could be seen rising into the sky, and there were tall trees around him. It seemed like a field.
“Why do you always end up at strange places ‘accidentally’? I wouldn’t be surprised if someday you accidentally popped right in front of me,” Anna spoke, shaking her head, but she also observed the area around Jayden.
” Haha It would really be great if I could find your location so easily. ” Jayden chuckled then he continued with his observation:
“This seems like Earth but a long time ago, or maybe this is some other planet. Anyway, I should go back now,” Jayden mumbled after he jumped out of the crater and was ready to leave.
“Oh right, Zeus must be busy fighting that dirty beggar. Yes, go back; I want to see that scene. Also, make sure to spread it as much as possible later on,” Anna’s excited voice sounded; she really hated Zeus.
“Hmm, I plan to do just that. Next will be the proposal mission. That will be quite interesting—” Jayden spoke as the corners of his mouth rose, and a portal appeared in front of him. But before he could take even a step forward, he heard some shouts coming from a distance.
It was around a couple of kilometers away, but Jayden could clearly hear it; a lot of people were shouting, cursing, and praying. It was almost as if a fight had broken out there. At first, Jayden decided to just ignore it, but he felt curious for some reason.
So he closed the portal and began to fly in that direction. As he flew, he saw houses made of wood and mud. If this was Earth, then this was a long time ago. Since it was around the middle of the night, most people were inside their houses sleeping.
Within seconds, Jayden got close to the source of the sound and saw a big crowd of at least sixty or seventy people; many of them were old men and women, and around half were middle-aged.
There seemed to be several fires burning there, so despite being night, that place was fairly lit. Jayden even wondered if it was some kind of festival.
But as Jayden got close, he saw something really shocking and disturbing: several long wooden logs were standing tall, and people were tied to those wooden logs.
There were a total of eleven wooden logs, and two of them were already burning. Just as Jayden arrived there, he saw that two people had already died after being burnt alive, and even the two were just about to die as their flesh and organs continued to melt; they weren’t even able to scream anymore.
And in the next second, the remaining two people died too; the bodies of the ten people continued to burn.
From the corpses, Jayden estimated that two of them were men and two women, while the rest were just kids; most of them were little girls and a boy.
All the people continued to release loud screams and shouts, as if they were cursing these eleven people or were maybe praying to the gods after doing such a great deed, anyway they all seemed full of excited.
