Chapter 39: Wang Li Punishes Madam Xia Bingling
As Wang Li’s skilled hands worked their magic on Xia Bingling’s back, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction at the progress he was making. With each movement, he sent waves of pleasure coursing through her body, soothing her nerves and easing her discomfort.
“Madam Xia Bingling,” Wang Li began, his voice calm yet authoritative. “I suspect that you were behind the assassination attempt on me and my cousin Xiangyi in the Jade Bamboo Forest. Is that true?”
Xia Bingling’s mind raced as she weighed her options. She knew that Wang Li’s abilities extended far beyond the physical, and his mention of monitoring her body only confirmed her suspicions.
Before she could formulate a response, Wang Li continued, his tone unwavering. “Just to be clear, there is no use trying to deceive me, Madam Xia. My energy is coursing through your body, monitoring your every heartbeat and emotion. If you speak a lie, I will know.”
Startled by Wang Li’s revelation, Xia Bingling hesitated before finally admitting to her role in the assassination attempt. “Yes, it was me,” she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper.
Wang Li’s lips curled into a disdainful smirk at her admission. “I thought as much,” he remarked coolly, his eyes glinting with a mixture of disdain and resolve.
“Why did you do it?” Wang Li pressed, his tone betraying a hint of incredulity. “Why did you send those assassins after us? Was it because you really wished to marry Qingwu off to Ye Fan?”
Xia Bingling shook her head, her gaze meeting Wang Li’s with a mixture of fear and defiance. “No, that’s not why,” she replied. “I was afraid that Qingwu’s association with you and Xiangyi would bring shame upon her. The Righteous Sects consider you both criminals, and I couldn’t bear the thought of her being tarnished by that.”
Wang Li’s sneer spoke volumes as he saw through Xia Bingling’s words.
With a swift motion, Wang Li injected pure Yin Energy into Xia Bingling’s body, causing the Yin Energy to combine with the illness in her body to target her nerves with icy intensity.
“You think you can deceive me with half-truths?” Wang Li’s voice was cold and unforgiving. “If you want me to heal you, you should speak nothing but the truth. Otherwise, your condition will only worsen. And make no mistake, I won’t forgive your attempt on mine and Xiangyi’s lives, no matter your relationship to Qingwu.”
Xia Bingling’s heart raced as she realized the gravity of her situation. She had underestimated Wang Li’s power, and now she was paying the price for her deception. With a trembling voice, she knew that she had no choice but to comply with his demands.
“I…I’ll tell you everything. Just…please, help me…”
Soon, Xia Bingling poured out the truth behind her actions, Wang Li listened in silence, his expression unreadable behind his mask. The revelation that Xia Bingling harbored such deep resentment towards him, and his cousin Xiangyi filled him with a mixture of anger and disbelief.
“So, you admit it was your dissatisfaction with Qingwu’s feelings for me that led you to send those assassins after us?” Wang Li’s voice was calm, but there was a hint of incredulity in his tone.
Xia Bingling nodded, her gaze unwavering. “Yes, I couldn’t bear to see Qingwu sacrifice her future for someone who could no longer offer her anything,” she admitted.
Wang Li’s jaw clenched as he struggled to contain his anger.
“And what about Qingwu’s marriage to Ye Fan?” Wang Li pressed, his voice tinged with bitterness.
Xia Bingling hesitated before responding, her tone defensive. “Ye Fan offered me a rare treasure, the Silver Ice King Heart, which can allow me to break through from the Nascent Soul Realm to the Soul Integration Realm. He has promised rewards of even higher rarity once the marriage truly occurs.”
Wang Li’s fists clenched at his sides as he struggled to contain his anger. He had suspected Xia Bingling’s involvement, but hearing her admission and for those reasons only fueled his rage further.
“Do you truly believe that sacrificing her happiness for the sake of the Xia Family’s benefits is justified?” Wang Li pressed, his voice tinged with bitterness.
Xia Bingling hesitated before responding, her expression conflicted. “I…I believe that Qingwu should be willing to make sacrifices for the greater good of our family,” she replied, her voice wavering slightly. “Ye Fan may not be perfect, but the benefits he offers far outweigh any doubts we may have.”
As he listened to Xia Bingling’s justification, Wang Li felt a surge of rage wash over him. How could she be so blind to her daughter’s suffering, so willing to sacrifice her happiness for the sake of power and prestige?
In that moment, Wang Li realized that his anger towards Xia Bingling ran deeper than he had ever imagined. He could have tried understanding her decision to kill him and Xiangyi. Although would never forgive her for that decision, but in his mind, he would have understood her reasons.
But Xia Bingling’s decision for her daughter Qingwu was something that Wang Li was not willing to accept no matter any explanation or justification of Xia Bingling.
“Thank you for your honesty, Madam Xia Bingling,” Wang Li said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “I will take your words into consideration as I decide how to proceed.”
As Wang Li grappled with his desire for revenge against Xia Bingling, he found himself trapped in a conundrum. He longed to make her pay for her betrayal, yet he knew that his options were severely limited.
‘I can’t just eliminate her, it will be impossible for me to escape the Xia Family Manor otherwise,’ he mused, frustration simmering beneath his calm exterior.
The thought of torturing Xia Bingling crossed his mind, but he quickly dismissed it. He couldn’t subject her to endless torment, nor could he risk the repercussions of kidnapping or incapacitating her for an extended period.
‘If she regains consciousness, she’ll undoubtedly call for reinforcements,’ he acknowledged, his mind racing with the potential consequences.
Wang Li was acutely aware of the danger posed by Xia Bingling’s subordinates, especially within the fortified confines of the Xia Family’s territory.
‘Engaging in open combat here would be suicide,’ he realized, a shiver running down his spine at the thought of facing off against the formidable Xia Family guards amidst their array formations.
Desperate for a solution, Wang Li racked his brain for any means of gaining leverage over Xia Bingling. However, the task seemed insurmountable given the limited time at his disposal.
‘I need something I can use to blackmail her,’ he thought, frustration mounting as he struggled to identify a viable option.
Then, as his gaze wandered to Xia Bingling’s figure, her curves tempting him with a daring idea.
With a decisive motion, Wang Li retrieved a Vision Recording Stone from his storage bag and activated it, setting it on the table to capture their interaction. ‘This might just work,’ he thought, a glimmer of anticipation sparking within him.
Returning his attention to Xia Bingling, Wang Li resumed massaging her naked back, his movements deliberate and calculated. This time, however, his intentions were far from altruistic.
Instead of targeting her illness, Wang Li infused bursts of Yin-Yang energy designed to amplify Xia Bingling’s carnal desires. His plan was to manipulate her lust to such heights that she would lose control and initiate intimate contact with him.
As Wang Li’s skilled hands worked their magic, Xia Bingling couldn’t help but be overcome by waves of pleasure coursing through her body. Each caress sent shivers down her spine, igniting a fire within her that she struggled to contain.
“Ohhh,” she moaned softly, her breath hitching with every expert touch. The Yin-Yang energy infused within her seemed to awaken dormant desires, flooding her senses with a heady rush of longing.
Wang Li observed her reactions carefully, noting the subtle shifts in her demeanor as his plan unfolded. He watched with a mixture of satisfaction and anticipation, his mind focused on manipulating her desires to his advantage.
Meanwhile, Xia Bingling’s thoughts were consumed by a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. Her body betrayed her with each tantalizing touch, urging her to succumb to the overwhelming arousal building within her.
But even as her desire threatened to overwhelm her, a nagging voice in the back of her mind warned of the consequences of her actions. She knew she should resist, but the allure of Wang Li’s touch was impossible to ignore.
As Wang Li continued his ministrations, Xia Bingling’s resolve wavered. The barriers she had erected to protect herself began to crumble, leaving her vulnerable to the intoxicating pull of passion.
With each passing moment, the tension between them grew palpable, the air thick with unspoken desire. Xia Bingling found herself teetering on the edge of surrender, her body aching for release.
Unable to resist any longer, she gave in to the primal urges coursing through her veins, her inhibitions melting away in the heat of the moment. With a soft gasp, she reached out to Wang Li, her fingers trailing along his skin with a desperate hunger.
Wang Li met her gaze with a knowing smile.
