Julian gazed at his status screen, excitement visible in his face, “I sure am ready for the war”.
Julian then approached Alden, who looked at him with a mix of curiosity and concern. “Where were you?” Alden asked.
“I was training, Father,” Julian replied confidently.
Alden nodded. “Are you ready? We will march in an hour.”
“Yes, Father, I am ready,” Julian replied with confidence in his words.
“Good. Go and pack your belongings, then meet me here,” Alden instructed.
“Okay, Father,” Julian replied as he felt the adrenaline start to build. He quickly made his way to his room.
Once inside, he changed into his war armor, which bore the Easvil family symbol proudly on the chest. The armor felt heavy but comforting.
“System, are you ready for the war?” Julian asked, excitement bubbling in his chest.
“Yes, host. Show them your newfound power,” the system replied, its voice clear in his mind.
Julian tightened the armor and glanced at his reflection in the mirror. He was ready. With a final deep breath, he stepped out of his room.
Julian made his way back to his father, and together they walked to an open area where the entire army was assembled. As Julian stepped into the area, his breath caught in his throat. He saw a hundred thousand soldiers gathered. Their armors were shining and banners waving in the wind.
His heart stirred with a mix of emotions. Nervousness crept over him as he realized the weight of the responsibility resting on his shoulders. But as he looked at the faces of the brave soldiers, that nervousness slowly faded, replaced by excitement.
As Julian scanned the gathered army, his eyes fell on the king, who was dressed in luxurious royal armor that glowed in the sunlight. Beside him stood three dukes, all adorned in their finest battle gear. Marcus was standing behind his father, the Duke of Norish.
Alden moved forward to join the dukes. Julian also followed his father and stood behind him. Julian straightened his back, his heart racing, ready to support his father in any way he could.
Just then, The king stepped forward. As he approached, the entire army knelt and bowed. The sound of armor clinking echoing through the open area.
His voice rang out, powerful and clear, “Raise your heads.”
Slowly, the soldiers lifted their gazes but still kneeling.
The king continued, “The day has come, the day we march off to fight against our enemy, Apollo. Raise your heads, be proud, and be ready to fight!”
Julian felt the energy shift around him, a wave of courage washing over the troops.
The king declared, “The founding pillar of our kingdom, the four dukes are here with you all,” as he gestured to the dukes standing beside him.
With that, the four dukes knelt before the king, a show of unity and strength. Julian admired their loyalty and felt a deep sense of responsibility to stand alongside them.
The king approached the kneeling four dukes and said, “Bring your hands forward”
At his the four dukes still kneeling raised their both hands in the air.
With a firm grip, the king placed a sword in each of their hands. These swords were not just weapons, they were the symbols of the royal family of the Ares Kingdom, representing their commitment and loyalty.
In unison, the dukes shouted, “Your Majesty, your loyal subjects promise to serve this kingdom and win this war in the name of the Ares Kingdom.”
Their voices rang out with conviction as it echoed through the open area and stirring the hearts of the soldiers around them.
