Jack looked at the old woman with squinting his eyes; he was actually cringed out by this old foggey, but as she was Katrina’s mother, he couldn’t just tell her in the face.
“Alright, Katrina, You stay. It will rain soon. I must go now,” Jack said to Katrina.
” Oh? Young man, don’t leave. You yourself said it will be raining soon. Stay here today.” Katrina’s mother suggested.
Katrina, seeing her mother like this, tilted her head in shock, then she looked at Jack and her mother.
