Stark reached for the final item of the lot, hoping with all his being that it would be useful in battle to him.
He literally only had two pieces of equipment: the [Purgatory Shadow] which was way too useful and saved his life quite sometimes already, and the [Crystalheart Band] which absorbed 10 percent of damage, pretty useless to be honest as he could die from pretty much anything and the damage removed wasn’t even noticeable.
There were probably some [Mythical] equipment pieces that remove up to 90 percent of damage received, this was a certainty, but Stark wouldn’t afford or be able to use them anyway.
“COME ON,” he swiftly grabbed the dark blue, and in his hands was… a necklace, “Oh.”
Immediately, Stark realized what this was.
…
[Item:] Sculk Necklace
[Type:] Necklace
[Class:] Domination
[Tier:] Mythical
[Required Level:] 60
[Quality:] Artifact
[Special Perk:] Ability for the user to use three ‘sculk attacks’, with a 12 hours cooldown between use.
…
‘…!’ it was perfect: for the [Domination] class but also within his level range, and also the special perk did seem interesting.
He didn’t understand what it meant with ‘three sculk attacks’, but he could always try it out in the [Memories Museum], couldn’t he?
‘Ok, now I need to sell the rest and buy that stupid breakthrough stone…’ Stark mumbled.
He took a quick shower (he hadn’t bathed for three weeks and the black water was actually disgusting), then wore some clothes and went outside.
As expected, rumors and videos of him yesterday spread across the entire city, if not country.
Dozens of videos of him walking and knocking out that classifier with one carefree punch spread like wildfire, people wondering who that mysterious entity (yes, entity, that thing couldn’t be human), was.
In the end, Stark hailed for a taxi, someone actually stopping this time, and headed toward the trading district to do everything he needed to do.
He entered the [Classifiers Trading Association] then asked for a ‘appraisal room’, and was yet again led toward the luxurious rooms.
“You again, huh?” it was the same white-haired woman with long hair in a ponytail that was smoking her cigarette, “I expect good stuff after you’ve been gone for this long!”
“Don’t expect too much, I’m not even going to school yet,” Stark smiled as he sat down on the red sofa right in front of the lady, he did remember checking her panel and that her name was “Violette Winkson”.
And even though he said that…
~SNAP~
He snapped his fingers as he summoned his [Spatial Inventory] above the ‘appraisal table’, then all items that he wanted to sell appeared: the [Conjoined Warrior’s Cloak], the [Mirror Master’s Crystal Shard], [Sierra’s Crystal Bow], the [Ghoul’s Corrupted Eye], [Soulayer’s Greatsword], the [Triple Soul Summon Skill Card], [Warden’s Horn] , and [Warden’s Sculk Hammer].
8 items to sell, 8 items that would earn him good money.
“Oh?” Violette lifted her eyebrows, her eyes glowing as she was currently using her [Item Appraisal] skill, something that made her wanted by hundreds of guilds and associations through the entire world, “These are… amazing…”
Skipping the entire process of checking every item and telling their price to Stark, they finally finished their appraising session.
And Stark gained… 8.58 million rher coins!
This was incredible compared to the 2.63 million he got from his last session, truly showcasing just how much better the items he was getting were than before.
With this amount, he could already afford to rent a luxury apartment!
But of course, this wasn’t in Stark’s projects, as he still had a lot to do.
“Thank you,” he bowed at Violette, who was staring at him intently, her gaze full of suspicions.
“I wanna be nice to you kid, but you come out of nowhere and bring some of the greatest items from the 100-150 level range we get in months,” Violette pressed her elbows on the luxurious wooden table, joining her hands, “Just what are you?” she asked again, having already demanded the last time they met.
“I’m just me, the average classifier,” Stark smiled as he began to walk toward the door, “also I probably won’t be coming here for a while since I start my academy year,” he gazed at her, a massive and malicious smile on his face, “Goodbye, Violette,” and so he left, closing the door behind.
“Fucking hell,” Violette scratched her head, the 8 items Stark brought in front of her.
These items were truly incredible for their current level, and yet here he was acting as if it was nothing.
Also… she noticed that he got a lot stronger than before, his eyes now so powerful even she was slightly intimidated.
“Oh well…” she shrugged, “The customer is king, huh…” and so she began to fill the forms to send the items to the store or to check if anyone wanted them: she was sure they would be sold in under an hour if put on sale.
Stark didn’t think much about it, but now his assets reached 13.5 million rher coins!
‘Anyway… one more thing and I’m good…’ oh and by the way, the [Classifiers Trading Association] is open 24/7, which is why he was able to reach it even though it is a little under 6 am.
Stark headed toward the [Market] section and specifically stopped at the [Boost Items] part, walking through the massive hallway with hundreds of classifiers.
And after a few seconds, he found the sign that read “Breakthrough Stone”, looking at the many displays with screens showing different stones on them.
And so, just like that, he found the item he wanted.
…
[Item:] Breakthrough Stone (Bronze-Level)
[Tier:] Rare
[Quality:] Normal
[Perk:] Increases your skill level from 15 to 25 when you meet the conditions to do so.
[Price:] 6.2 million rher coins
…
“Holy shit, inflation hits hard,” there was no way that thing was worth half his fortune.
And yet…
[Do you want to buy it?]
[Y/N]
[This will automatically remove the money from your account using your fingerprints]
[Oh, and by the way, no refunds.]
‘Fuck off…’ Stark groaned as he clicked on Y, taking the stone from the display as another one appeared right as he did that, ‘At least that’s done with.’
He had done everything he needed to do, and it was only around 6 am, meaning that he had lots of time in his hands.
‘Well, let’s get to my hotel room then prepare, what else, it did say that this school would be hell, huh…’
40 minutes later, Stark was back in his hotel room, the stone in his hands, his account full of money, and all his useless items sold.
He was COMPLETELY ready to begin his new chapter in life, and although he knew it would only get more difficult from now on, entering a school with powerful people, and possibly even some hidden [Domination] users, Stark knew that his sheer determination will be enough to overcome all of it.
‘Well, anyway,’ Stark looked at the ‘Breakthrough Stone’ in his hands, it was a rune with silver-colored symbols all over it, and the word ‘silver’ written on some sort of magic circle in the middle, an aura emanating from it, ‘Alright.’
He put a lot of his aura inside the stone while holding it, and instantly, a panel appeared.
[Do you want to initiate the breakthrough from bronze to silver?]
