Stark crouched, breathing deeply as he narrowed his gaze on the towering sniper, Levi.
The air around them crackled with tension, thick and suffocating.
The moonscorched sniper’s grotesque form loomed ominously, the tank on its head pulsing with crimson energy, its cannon-arm whirring ominously.
Stark knew the sniper wasn’t a normal opponent; its attacks were deadly, precise, and overwhelming.
But this time, he had a plan.
“Sora,” Stark said, his voice steady despite the adrenaline pumping through his veins. “Hold him off for a few seconds. I need time to lock onto him.”
Sora, standing by his side, barely nodded, her emotionless eyes reflecting a faint spark of understanding.
“Understood,” she replied in her flat, detached tone, before stepping forward, her hands shimmering with vines and green aura.
Stark closed his eyes for a moment, slowing his breath.
His muscles tensed as he focused on the sniper’s movements.
He activated his perk—Flow—allowing him to delve into the enemy’s aura.
As the world around him dimmed, all external noise faded into a dull hum. In this state, Stark could feel the sniper’s essence, the way its energy flowed and surged through its body.
[Flow: Activated. 10 seconds to focus…]
In those precious seconds, Sora rushed toward Levi, moving with almost mechanical precision.
“VINE SMASH!”
Her fists glowed with an ethereal light as she lashed out, her vine strikes aimed at the sniper’s body.
Levi grunted, swinging its massive cannon arm toward her in a wide arc, but Sora was too fast.
She ducked beneath the blow, her expressionless face never wavering as she delivered a flurry of quick strikes to the creature’s legs.
-73622! -78472! -72713!
BOOM!
The sniper fired another round, the bullet slicing through the air toward Sora, but she leaped backward just in time, her movements calculated and calm.
Stark’s eyes snapped open. He had him.
[Flow: Connection established. Enemy’s movements can be predicted 1 second before execution.]
The sniper’s aura was a steady, unyielding stream of raw power, but now Stark could see the patterns.
He could anticipate Levi’s next attack before it even happened.
With his link secured, Stark grinned, his six aura arms flexing with newfound strength.
“Alright, it’s my turn now.”
Without hesitation, Stark charged forward, his Asura’s Arms glowing with crimson energy as they swung with deadly force.
The first set of arms crashed into the ground where the sniper stood, creating a small shockwave that forced Levi to retreat.
-32731!
Stark followed up with another blow from his secondary set of arms, slamming into Levi’s cannon arm, knocking the monster aside before it could fire again.
-184728!
The sniper growled, stumbling from the impact, but quickly recovered.
Levi raised his cannon arm once more, the tank’s cannon that served as his eye locked on him.
But this time, Stark was ready.
“SNIPE SHOT!”
The sniper’s cannon roared as a bullet flew toward Stark, its speed and power enough to obliterate anything in its path.
But with Flow guiding him, Stark could see it coming.
A second before the bullet was fired, Stark sidestepped, his six arms deflecting the bullet mid-air.
The projectile exploded behind him, sending debris flying, but Stark didn’t lose his focus.
He moved swiftly, closing the gap between him and the sniper with ease.
As he neared Levi, he activated Crimson Spears.
Five spears of pure crimson energy appeared around him, each one humming with destructive power.
“SPEAR OF JUDGEMENT!”
The aura around him swelled as he summoned the Spear of Judgment—a colossal, crimson spear that materialized above him.
The ground trembled as the spear descended, locking onto the sniper’s massive form.
The sniper tried to swing its cannon/sniper to deflect the spear, but it didn’t realize just how strong the spear was.
Levi’s eyes widened as the spear pierced through its cannon, spinning faster and faster, until eventually, the crimson energy detonating upon impact.
BOOM!
-837,335!
The explosion sent Levi crashing to the ground, its health bar visibly plummeting.
The sniper struggled to rise, its body smoking from the blast, but Stark could see the wear and tear.
The moonscorched sniper was weakening.
“You’re done,” Stark growled, his voice filled with determination.
Levi, though injured, was not finished yet.
“THE MOON LORDS HAVE CALLED MY NAME- NO, OUR NAMES!”
Levi spoke for the first time, its aura taking over its entire body, “WE SHALL NOT LOSE. DIE!”
The sniper growled, its tank-like form twitching as it activated its strongest ability—Bullet Storm.
“BULLET STORM!”
A rapid succession of bullets sprayed from Levi’s cannon arm, each one capable of dealing devastating damage.
Stark’s eyes widened, but he remained calm.
His skill—Invincible Dodge—kicked in, allowing him to effortlessly weave through the barrage of bullets. Each one missed him by mere inches, but Stark didn’t falter.
This kept going for 30 seconds.
As Levi became more frustrated, Stark saw his opening.
With a mental command, Stark used [Domi-Chains Restrain]’s Mythical Perk.
Crimson chains erupted from the ground, wrapping around the sniper’s legs and arms, restricting its movements.
Levi roared in anger, struggling against the chains, but the more it fought, the tighter the chains became.
It could have broke free from a single chain, but three was just overkill.
Though, if Stark did nothing, then Levi would surely escape.
“Chains of Judgment!”
…
[Perk: Chains of Judgment (Mythical Perk)]
[Description: Not only do you get three chains instead of one, but you can also summon “Gortox”, the chain demon, to aid you in chaining your enemies]
…
With the chains holding Levi in place, Stark summoned Gortox, the chain demon.
A massive figure materialized beside Stark, its body wrapped in even more chains, a single eye looking down on Levi as if he was but a mere insect.
Gortox grinned wickedly as it extended its own chains toward the sniper, further restraining it.
Levi’s eyes widened in fear as Gortox’s chains wrapped around its cannon arm, preventing it from firing any more bullets.
Stark wasted no time.
He raised his arms, summoning the full power of Asura’s Arms.
“ASURA’S WRATH!”
The six crimson arms pulsed with divine energy, their aura growing stronger with each passing second.
In the distance, he could see that Sora had been struggling to keep up, getting hit by three of the bullets and receiving massive damage.
Even her [Vine Barrier], that she tried to use on Stark to help him, didn’t work.
Stark’s rage fueled the attack, his body glowing with an intense crimson light.
The aura arms swung down in unison, releasing a shockwave that obliterated everything in a 100-meter radius ahead.
The ground beneath Levi cracked and shattered as the shockwave hit, the sniper’s body engulfed in the destructive force.
Levi let out one final, agonized roar before the light consumed it entirely.
-2,347,849!
The damage was incredible.
BOOM!
When the dust settled, Levi’s body lay crumpled on the ground, defeated.
The sniper’s health bar hit zero, and the glowing tank on its head flickered before shutting off entirely.
[Levi, the Moonscorched Sniper: Defeated]
[Crimson Barrier has been fully reformed.]
Stark stood over the fallen enemy, his breath coming in heavy gasps.
His aura arms flickered for a moment before fading away, leaving him with only his original two.
The battle had been fierce, but Stark had emerged victorious.
He glanced over at Sora, who had watched the final moments of the fight in silence.
She nodded slightly, acknowledging his victory.
“It’s over,” Stark said, wiping the sweat from his brow. “Finally.”
But before he could even catch his breath, a loud clang echoed through the air.
Stark’s eyes widened as he saw the gates of the other streets suddenly swing open.
Dust filled the air as figures emerged from the now-opened gates.
The other participants had arrived.
“Looks like it’s finally over,” Dave appeared, a smirk on his face, “Damn, our gates were locked… but he beat the sniper, huh?”
Claire, beside him, nodded.
CEO, Or Miles laughed, “If he didn’t, it would have just been embarrassing!”
One by one, the other participants gathered in the square, their eyes all focused on Stark.
