[You have reached level 25, congratulations, you can now spin the ‘Class Wheel’ again!]
Stark’s heart raced with anticipation as he read those words.
Since the moment he had first spinned the wheel and gotten the Domination class, he had always been waiting to reach level 25.
It was more difficult because of the ‘Domination’ class’s [Hell Mode] curse, but now that he had done it, he felt extremely proud of himself.
He wanted to spin the [Class Wheel] immediately to check out what he could get, and hopefully begin training using his new class as his entire fighting style would change whatever the class he would get was.
But…
[Please read all panels and information before spinning the ‘Class Wheel’]
He was restricted, and even when he tried to push through and attempted to activate the [Class Wheel] skill…
[You are not allowed to use the wheel for now, please try again later]
‘Ah shit…’ it wouldn’t be long until he was gonna be able to use it anyway, so he just looked to the next panel.
And it was… a surprising one, much more than even the ‘Class Wheel’…
[The ApostleDex has been unlocked, please do check it out (you are allowed to right now)]
Stark felt a strange mix of doubt and curiosity at the words, his eyes widening slightly as he scanned the panel.
He had no idea what the ApostleDex was, but the fact that he was allowed to check it out right now intrigued him.
‘Sounds like a cheap copy of poke-‘ he stopped himself before getting struck by another zap, he had learned from his lessons.
But basically, it was something he knew from his past life.
In the end, he decided to check it out as there was no reason not to.
He clicked on the ‘ApostleDex’ word since it was highlighted, and suddenly, another crimson panel appeared before him.
But instead of the normal ones which only contained text, this one looked more like a quest window.
On it were 15 square cases, meaning three lines of 5.
The title: “Godless Demon Apostles” could be seen written in white above them.
And as for the content of the cases… well… it was basically like in any video game.
Each one of the cases represented one of the Godless Demon’s apostles.
The first two of the first line had the images of [Malakar] and of [Judicator], the two bosses he had fought, and of course, there was a giant X on them as they had been defeated.
The rest of the apostles couldn’t be seen, instead, all Stark could see was their shadows inside of the square cases, with no way to know of their appearances until he saw them.
It was truly like some kind of ‘Assassination’ quest inside of a game, where he would need to find all of them and kill them all.
Or at least… that’s what he believed, since when his eyes slowly moved to the 5th square of the second line… it wasn’t a shadow that he was seeing, but an actual image of the apostle that is supposed to be there.
And it was one he had already seen before.
[Crimson Moons Trio] was written below the image of the three moons with a giant eye on them.
‘…’ Stark’s eyes widened, he had figured out that those things must be part of the ‘Godless Demon’ group, but he couldn’t believe that they could be fought.
They were massive monsters, and he looked like an insect in comparison to their sizes, there was no way he could fight them, right?
And yet…
[Upon defeating 5 of the apostles, you will receive a MYTHICAL reward!]
[Upon defeating 10 of the apostles, you will receive a GODLY reward!]
[Upon defeating 15 of the apostles, you will receive an IMMORTAL reward!]
He immediately reminisced the different categories for skills and items: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythical, Godly, Immortal.
This meant that he would get something incredible after each milestone he reached.
It was a massive risk to fight those bosses, but the rewards given for that were also amazing.
High risk, high reward, basically.
And in the end… the fact that he could be rewarded for killing them all meant that the [Crimson Moons Trio] could be defeated at some point.
At the very end of the window, a pair of black eyes could be seen, ones that looked like they were piercing his soul.
And right above those eyes… stood a crimson text.
[Upon defeating all of the apostles… you will be allowed to meet the ‘Godless Demon’]
[Enjoy!]
Before he could do anything else, all the panels related to the [ApostleDex] closed, and there was no way for him to open it back up for now until he checked out all the other information.
“Wow, this is a lot to process,” Stark muttered to himself as he looked at the remaining two panels.
He knew he had to keep going, though, because there was no way of knowing what these two panels might contain.
[Survey: Are You Happy?]
[Y/N]
‘…’ Stark titled his head, this was just becoming confusing at this point.
“I guess I am…?” he clicked on yes.
[Thank you for the answer, see you later for the next survey =)]
And so that panel also disappeared.
‘What the actual fuck?’ Stark didn’t even know the purpose of such a thing.
But deep down… he felt that the [Survey] would be important, so he kept it in mind… just in case.
And so now, there was only one panel remaining.
It was different from all the others: it wasn’t crimson or blue, instead… it was entirely black, and its edges were moving like waves, almost as if it was alive.
[You have proven your strength…]
The panel was black with no text on it, but as soon as he lay his eyes on it, white text started slowly appearing.
[But you need to be stronger…]
[Thus, you have been granted access to the…]
[MEMORIES MUSEUM]
‘Huh…’ the text stopped as soon as the words ‘Memories Museum’ appeared, and after a few seconds resumed.
[Inside of the memories museum, you will be able to access the memories of your previous battles and fight the bosses you have already defeated inside the arena to increase your technique…]
[Note that you can only relive the memories of the bosses you have fought!]
[The museum serves only one purpose: training, fight against the bosses you have already beaten and find new ways and techniques to come out victorious]
[You can now access the museum, good luck!]
And before he could even say anything since he was speechless, a black door that emanated a dark aura appeared in front of him.
‘…’ Stark looked at the door in front of him with widened eyes, but then clenched his fists and stepped forward.
Deep inside, he really wanted to see what this was all about.
