All Max did was smile and said, “Not as a man, but a girl from another empire.”
When Leon heard that, he was frozen in his tracks, “What do you mean, a girl from another empire? They’re not supposed to meet until the annual competition. Has something changed? Damn it.”
Max said, “I think you’re shocked and I know you’re not at the right level, but I hope you can save her life and yours, and don’t be mistaken. The girl is not weak.”
Leon nodded, “Okay, I understand.”
Max replied, “Good, now I’ll introduce you to each other.”
“Come in,” Max said, and as soon as he said the words, the office door opened and the figure of a seventeen-year-old girl appeared
When Leon looked at the girl, he remained fixed in place of the ruby eyes, flowing black hair, flawless skin, and an outfit that highlighted all of her growing assets.
As for the girl, she was looking at the boy in front of her. She was studying his body language and examining him carefully with her eyes. As a sniper, she needed to be a keen observer.
When the girl was studying Leon, she was really impressed by his physique. Through her observation, she found that his body had almost no flaws.
And the prominent red hair, and the skin that looked attractive, but not to the same degree as women, and the mask that made him more mysterious, but as soon as she placed her ruby eyes on his eyes, she froze in place.
She felt lost for the first time in his life. As soon as she laid eyes on his, she found herself personally looking into deep space and feeling as if she was exploring the universe through her eyes.
Had Max not decided to break the silence that would have turned into an embarrassing event, she turned to Leon, “Leon, this is Alice Magani, Prince of the Soul Empire.” She turned to Alice, “Isn’t this Leon, Max, from today you have been partners.”
If it wasn’t for the skill that Leon possessed to control his feelings, he would have fainted from shock when he heard the name of the girl in front of him and repeated the name in his mind ‘Alice Alice Alice’
Certainly, Leon, as a reader of the novel, knows who Alice is. ‘Alice was one of the princesses, but not any princess, but rather the prince of the novel’s empire, a race that everyone tries to ally with due to their many secrets.’
‘It is unfortunate that Leon does not know anything significant about Alice except that she uses a bow and is a skilled sniper, and she also uses daggers in close combat situations.’
When Leon saw Alice, he began to regret that he had not bought the side volume of the novel, which talks about Alice and her adventure with Arthur
Leon cursed himself in his mind and decided to go along with the situation, ‘At least I don’t have a worthless partner and I’m sure she will be more of a help than a burden.’
Leon extended his hand to shake Alice’s hand, trying to avoid the temptations that Alice was unconsciously growing into
Alice looked at his outstretched hand and decided that she would try to start a good relationship with her colleague as long as he was alive and she would personally ask him about his eyes later.
Alice shook Leon’s hand and looked at him. She decided to compliment him, “You have beautiful eyes there, Leon.”
When Alice complimented his eyes, Leon froze, feeling embarrassed by the compliment and decided to reply, “Thank you, your ruby eyes are beautiful too.”
Alice smiled at that while Max was on the side smiling. He had heard about the girl in front of him and it was known that the Princess of the Soul Empire did not get along well with boys.
But here he is now, finding that the girl in front of him communicates well with the young man who is also his mother. This scene was to give him hope that the union of the two empires would succeed, even if the boy in front of him was a common Hungarian.
Max stood up from his place, “Okay, Leon, you know your partner’s sensitive status. I hope you keep her identity a secret. Then I’ll tell you now. Alice here wanted to have complete trust between her and her lover in each other.”
Max moved towards the door and said, “Now I’ll let you two get to know each other better.”
When Max left the room, silence fell over the place and Leon decided to try to start a friendly conversation with Alice, but he failed in that, “So you are a princess, huh?”
Alice looked towards him after she was looking at the door from where Max came out and smiled, “This is how I was born, but if this is an idea of a way to start a conversation, then you are really funny.”
Leon laughed when he understood what Alice was trying to say, “It’s true, I’m not used to starting a conversation with people. Sometimes it’s exhausting.”
Leon was not laughing, even though he was speaking comfortably with Alice, whom he had met for the first time moments ago, but he felt as if he could trust her
Alice laughed, “If this is how you really feel, then we share the same feelings. I find it exhausting, and no matter how hard you try, people will not understand your point of view, no matter how hard you try to explain.”
Alice was in the same position as Leon when she felt these new feelings, but instead of being confused, she knew what this feeling was, so she decided to accept the matter calmly to see how things would develop and if she was ready to take Next step
Leon replied, “I think we will get along well since we have almost the same thinking.”
Alice replied, “It is not necessary to do that. We could have come to an understanding together without sharing the same point of view.” When she said this, she was looking at Leon with a look that suggested that she knew something that Leon did not know.
“I think this is a good step, Alice. We will meet tomorrow for the test, and don’t worry, your secret is safe with me,” Leon said before getting up and trying to go out.
Before Leon closed the door, he heard Alice say, “I’m sure of it.”
While Leon was walking through the halls towards his residence, Max appeared in the room again and said, “Okay, Miss Alice, what do you think?”
He will not lie. It is true that the test partners are randomly sorted, but the princess insisted on choosing her own partner in the test.
The request was surprising, but since she was a princess and also an exchange student between the Saiyad Academy and the Soul Academy, even though he had heard that their students there were not receiving the best reception, they were a little racist.
But the difference in status explains the pressure he has accumulated because he needs to fulfill Princess Alice’s demands in order to ensure an alliance between the Empire of Man and the Empire of Spirit.
