Lyselia
A young woman sat nervously across from Otis, her hands clasped tightly in her lap. She had never felt so vulnerable before, but she knew that she had to ask him. He was her only hope.
She took a sip of tea to soothe her parched throat and spoke, her voice barely above a whisper. “Otis-sama, could you please purchase my virginity?”
The words hung in the air between them, heavy and uncomfortable. Lycelia could feel her face turning red with
embarrassment, but she refused to look away from Otis. She needed him to understand.
Otis looked at the female student in front of him once again. She was the daughter of a scholarship student, which meant that she was from a lower class than most of the other students at the prestigious academy.
Her name was Lycelia Reid. Her light purple hair was cut just above her shoulders, and her sharp features made her look unmistakably beautiful, although she tried hard to maintain a neutral expression.
Her attire was the school-designated uniform, but there was something different about the way she wore it. Perhaps it was because she explored dungeons every day, but you could see that her legs had a good amount of muscle, even through the thick stockings.
Otis understood her situation to some extent, but he wanted her to tell him
everything. He wanted to know why she was willing to sell her virginity. As expected, she was unable to pay his tuition fees for next year and wanted money for him. But there had to be more to it than that.
Lycelia took a deep breath and told him everything. She told him about her mother’s illness, about the mounting medical bills, and about the loan sharks
who were threatening to take their home. She told him about how she had tried everything she could think of to make money, but nothing had worked. And then, in desperation, she came up with this plan.
The tuition fee here at the Royal First Academy of Magic is 5 million merk a year.
This is an amount that a first-class adventurer or a major merchant could afford, but it was definitely not an amount
that an ordinary household could afford.
The reason why Lyselia, who comes from
an ordinary family, was able to attend school for the past year is because she was
a scholarship student.
Scholarship students are exempt from paying all tuition fees.
However, scholarship student certification
is given every year, and she was not eligible for next year’s certification.
The maximum number of credits that can
be earned in a year is 60 credits, and 40 credits are required to advance to the next grade, but 54 credits are required to receive scholarship student certification.
The number of credits Lyselia was able to earn this year was 52, but she was only two credits short and is no longer recognized as a scholarship student.
“Okay, I will buy you credits and happily accept your offer.”
Lyseria was clenching her fists tightly and suppressing her disgust. Even if she asked someone to buy it for her, she still didn’t
want it when she had to sell her body for it.
Lyseria herself thinks that it is selfish. However, she hated this man in front of
her.
Lyselia’s father has already passed away,
her mother is too ill to get out of bed, and she has a younger sister who is two years younger than her.
Lyseria’s disdain for Otis ran deep. She had grown up in a world where money was scarce and hard work was the only way to
survive. Otis, on the other hand, had grown up in a life of luxury, with servants to cater
to his every whim. To Lyseria, it seemed as though he had never experienced the hardships that she had faced on a daily
basis.
She often watched him from afar, observing as he flirted with women and spent his time and money on frivolous pursuits. It infuriated her that he could be
so careless with his wealth while she had to work tirelessly just to afford medicine for her sick mother.
Lyseria had tried to ignore Otis at first, but
as time went on, her feelings of animosity
towards him only grew stronger. She couldn’t understand how someone could be so oblivious to the struggles of others,
and it seemed as though he had no
empathy for those less fortunate than himself.
Despite her anger towards him, however,
Lyseria couldn’t help but feel a twinge of jealousy whenever she saw him with other women. She knew that it was foolish to feel this way, but she couldn’t help but wonder what it would be like to be in his shoes, to have all the money and freedom in the
world.
From Lyseria’s point of view, it is difficult to fall in love with a man like this.
(I think the only saving grace is that he is not an unscrupulous aristocrat who looks like a fat pig, but a nice man, and he also
has a good-looking face.) “Thank you, Otis-sama.”
I thought I was smiling, but was I able to
smile properly? I have to act quickly before he changes his mind.
Lyselia remembers what happened just a
few days ago and wonders why she had to
do something like this. It was a bolt from the blue.
When I finished the final exam for the last
lecture, I was convinced that I had passed the course. The level of lectures at this
school is high. As expected, it is the Royal Academy of the Moonlight Kingdom, which is a large country. In order to keep up with high-level lectures, no matter how tired I am from exploring, I never miss a class.
In order to obtain the 54 credits required to be a scholarship student, I registered for
the full 60 credits.
the full 60 credits.
Each lecture is worth 2 credits, so there are 30 lectures.
There were some difficult lectures, and I
lost some credits, but I still calculated that
I could get 54 credits. In fact, I was able to easily earn up to 52 credits.
Well, except for the fact that the 54th unit
exam was more difficult than in previous years. I later learned that the credit acquisition rate for that course was less than 10%.
Apparently, the reason it suddenly became
so difficult was because some idiot tried to buy credits from the professor with money, and there were several of them.
Certainly, there are quite a few instructors
at this school who accept bribes. However, this professor was famous for being strict. Certainly, there are quite a few instructors

The professor was angry that some of his students were idiots who tried to buy credits with money, so he asked them a lot of applied problems, saying that if they had listened to his lectures seriously, they would have been able to solve many problems. The applied problems were quite difficult. They posed difficulties for students like Lycelia. However, I cannot quit school just yet.
To receive treatment from a healer who can cure my mother’s illness, I need connections. It’s probably more likely that they would spend their time at the school than as adventurers, so I have to earn
money for my tuition. But 5 million merk is
a lot of money.
(What should I do?)
There are only two months left until the
deadline for remittance of tuition fees. I wonder if I can manage to get to the bottom of the dungeon, but no, it’s too dangerous. The further down the dungeon you go, the more dangerous it becomes. are divided into upper, middle, lower,

and deep layers based on their rough level

Going underground would have been
suicidal. What will happen to my mother if I die? (What about her sister?) Then, I overheard a conversation between
my classmates. Two flashy girls, named
Erika and Mion, were talking. The two of them are always together and wear expensive accessories. If I recall correctly, both of their parents’ families were probably small-scale trading companies. Unlike Lyselia, they are not scholarship
students, and although their parents probably have enough financial resources to pay for their tuition, I don’t think they
will
be able to send enough money to buy such an accessory. I had heard the rumors
before. The rumors may be true. Lyselia pretended to read the textbook and
listened closely to Erika and Mion’s
conversation.

As Otis finished speaking, Lyselia’s eyes
narrowed in agreement, and she gave a sharp nod. She reached for the button on her uniform, her fingers deftly working the clasp. As she loosened the fabric, her mind. raced with thoughts of the task at hand. “Please take off your jacket and untie your tie. Unbutton the white shirt.”
As she unbuttoned her shirt, she hesitated,
