Kaijin Fighter: So I Have to Make Monsters, So What? – Chapter 1084

Loves a motivator Chaos the Equalizer

Chapter 1067: Love’s a motivator, [Chaos] the Equalizer

=That is a deeply unsettling statement out of context, I hope you know that.=

=That or it’s because she’s currently channeling [Chaos] while in her mother’s tomb and it’s causing a positive feedback loop.=

=Although…there are still some irregularities I can’t seem to identify…=

Few seconds earlier…

“[AHHHGGHGHHHH!]”

‘Jin Fang, you can’t lose your cool just yet…wait until you get some leverage in the form of a body.’

The moment Zhen Liu collapsed to the ground in pain, Jin Fang wanted to do nothing more than to dive out of her hearing space and jam a couple of knives into Buzza’s brain.

She even had recently developed the manner to do so, thanks to a certain gift she was given by Pathos not too long ago, but she ultimately decided against it.

This wasn’t because she was scared of getting into an unfair situation, rather, it was because of the training she underwent with Lady Daria.

‘Assess the situation, determine your exploitation point, abuse it to high hell.’

Daria had instilled into Jin Fang a slew of skills that could best be described as… appropriate for underworld activity.

The reason for doing so was that Daria believed that one of the best ways to maintain a happy, peaceful lifestyle, was to deal with any problems that could upset such a thing in the shadows.

Sometimes a debt collector takes a wrong turn into a three week delays, sometimes a threatening gang leader ends up a eunuch monk and sometimes a home wrecking bitch ends up as vulture food. In essence, love was hard work and required dirty hands every now and then.

As such, when Jin Fang finally noticed that the Fallen Matriarch had essentially let her guard down at the sight of Zhen Liu doubling over in pain, she knew that this was her time to strike.

Granted, there was a noticeable of power disparity between her peak Aether Master ass and the Aether King known as Gao Shen Yuan. However, Jin Fang had a plan.

A rather half-baked one.

Focusing on the hair pin that Pathos crafted for her not too long ago, Jin Fang began to channel her aether into it. As she did, the pin seems to glow with life and began to exude a flavor of [Chaos] unlike anything Zhen Liu or the kaijin were familiar with in the slightest.

[Oh? Is it time for me to make a debut, big sis?]

‘Not quite yet, Coral. Right now, I need you to act as claws.’

[Whatever you need, big sis!]

Moments later, the exuding [Chaos] began to coalesce around Jin Fang’s arm before condensing and transforming into a bright blue claw that would look more at home attached to a kaijin than to her.

However, the power it was radiating was off the charts.

Once the claw has fully condensed, Jin Fang moved on to the next part of her plan.

‘Alright, next….[Misty Step].’

And appeared right behind Gao Shen Yuan.

‘I only got one shot at this…GO!’

Luckily for her, her gambit paid off.

…Back to the Present…

“How the fuck did you-?!”

“Hey! I said to shove it!,” Jin Fang yelled back at the Fallen Matriarch before redirecting her attention back to Buzza.

[I said to stop buzzing, let his ass go or I rip out her fucking throat, are you deaf?!]

[Oh? Are you this one’s consort?]

[Yes! Now, do as I say!]

Under normal circumstances, Jin Fang would never risk pissing off someone who was objectively stronger, technically her senior and would never try to hold them hostage like a common peasant.

However, these weren’t normal circumstances and Jin Fang wasn’t her old self.

Thanks to the gift from Logos and Pathos, Jin Fang had actually learned to cultivate [Chaos] in a manner that was different from the orphans, Japser and Janice, as well as different from how Zhen Liu and the kaijin did it.

However, this method of hers was very similar to how Alicia, Bellona and Rianna cultivated [Chaos]. In fact, she would regularly practice this method alongside the latter.

Interestingly though, none of the girls had actually told Zhen Liu that they were able to cultivate [Chaos] yet.

Partially because there was never a great time to bring up the topic.

Partially because…the method they were given was…mildly embarrassing, to say the least.

Regardless, such feelings were thrown out the window when Jin Fang saw her boo getting tortured before her eyes.

Hence why now, she had a claw made of [Chaos] jammed so deep into Gao Shen Yuan’s [Regalia] that one slight movement would cause blood to gush out of her neck like a geyser.

[Well? What’s it gonna be, bug bitch?!,] Jin Fang cursed in perfect [Chaos] speech, heavily influenced by the power flowing into her veins and then some. [ I keep forgetting how natural cursing comes with Chaos, I kind of like it.]

If Jin Fang had done this gambit against any other of Gao Shen Yuan’s retinue, it probably would’ve worked. Unfortunately, she was dealing with a cantankerous old bastard of a Kaijin who cared more about data than people.

At this threat, Buzza merely looked over his shoulder while still beating his wings in a way that caused Zhen Liu to continue spasming in pain.

[I zzzee…are you banking on the pozzzibility that I have zzzome…emotional attachment to her and will do azzz you zzzay? I’ve only known her for about a week, you know.]

[Okay, you replace all your “s” with “x”, good to know, but no. I read you as the type of asshole that has been lacking a lot in terms of funds and test subjects, and that this bitch here is essentially your sponsor for both and you’d really hate losing such easy access, right?]

At this statement, Buzza couldn’t help but develop a slightly more bewildered expression.

“You know,” Gao Shen Yuan interjected, “I feel like I would be a lot angrier about whatever you’re saying if the language you two are speaking didn’t sound like a mixture of dying hog squeals and nails on a chalkboard at the same time.”

Unfortunately for her, Gao Shen Yuan was thoroughly ignored by both sides.

[Huh…I didn’t expect this era’zzz conzzzort to be clever. Normally, they’re the type to be pretty facezzz and not much elzzze.]

[Is that statement supposed to be a generalization because you met previous kaijin lords, or because the one who minted your ass had terrible taste in partners?]

[…]

At this question, Jin Fang swore she Buzza’s eye twitch. Then again, it was hard to tell due to the kaijin having compound eyes.

[Man, you are a lot harder to read than the other insect kaijin I know.]

[Hmmm. Zzzo my choicezzz, azzz you put is to zzztop what I’m doing and give this new lord a chance to retaliate, or continue what I am doing and let my employer die, is that correct?]

[Yes. And I’m fairly certain that her clan and newly minted Grafted freak show warriors will not appreciate you letting her die when you could’ve easily stopped it,] Jin Fang elaborated. [So I suggest you stop, and you might have a chance of surviving if you fly real fast, real hard.]

[Tempting…,] Buzza hummed while still beating his wings.[But I believe you are forgetting about zzzomething.]

[Oh? What’s that?]

[Those aforementioned Grafted warriors coming to their matriarch’s aide.]

[Chaos Art: Psycho Cannon]

“BAH!”

Before Jin Fang could fully realize the weight of Buzza’s words, Gao Dau had already blasted her away with concussive show of [Chaos]. As a result, she was forced to release the Fallen’s matriarch and was sent flying further into the tomb, soaring pass Buzza’s head and through the doors that they were trying to pass through moments ago.

“Matriarch! Are you okay?”

“Thanks to you, Torture Elder Gao Dau,” Gao Shen Yuan answered while restoring her damaged [Regalia]. “This [Chaos] stuff is so…strange. That girl was only a mere Aether Master and she could already…Torture Elder, why do you have that look on your face?”

The aforementioned look was one of worry, and Gao Dau was staring down in the direction he had just sent Jin Fang flying towards.

“Something’s…off.”

‘Okay…I appear to be bleeding and now I’m angrier than I have ever been before. Wait…is that because I was sent flying through a door, or because of the [Chaos] that you’re pumping into me?’

[Yes.]

‘Well then, whatever…Coral, let’s do the thing!’

[Then say the words!]

‘Right…I wonder if Xiao Liu has to deal with this with the kaijin…Coral, Henshin!’

[Henshin!]
