Kaijin Fighter: So I Have to Make Monsters, So What? – Chapter 1091

Inner Tomb

Chapter 1074: Inner Tomb

[Ey yo, wait a minute. Why is our connection to the maestro suddenly dampening? He’s not dying again, is he?]

[I don’t think that’s the case, Hurricroak. Otherwise, Logos and Pathos would be panicking right about now. Them or Blazejudicator.]

[Oh yeah…curators! Blazejudicator! Why is our connection dampened?]

[I…think…they’d…tell…us…if…they…knew…]

<=Our lord and one of his consorts are currently being bound in chains enhanced with Dark attributed dragon force.=>

[We’re being held hostage until the Fallen Clan gets bored and decide to execute us,] Blazejudicator added.

[See?]

[More dragon force? What kind of bullshit is-is everyone we’re going to fight going to be able to use dragon force?!]

[Well…most powerful and elite factions probably have to deal with dragons on a regular basis, so…yes.]

[Great…,am

[Wait a minute, since Dragon Force is more adherent to the rules of another and balance, doesn’t that mean Razorstella sis could cut through them?,] Springerdermain finally interjected. [Because she’s got Luxarii aether.]

[Yeah she-wait a minute…Spring, why do you sound… different?]

[Oh, it’s because I’m a full fledged kaijin now. Name’s Springerdermain now.]

[Congrats.]

[Huzzah…]

[Huh…well then, welcome to kaijinhood.]

[Thank you.]

[But now we have to save the maestro, so can you-]

[Retrieve Razorstella and Screamira so that we can rescue the ringmaster? Already on it.]

[Excellent.]

[I suppose we just have to wait and see if our lord gets rescued in time…are y’all still drained from the fusion?]

[Yup.]

[Yes…]

[Things to bother the curators and our lord about, medical items for kaijin specifically. Or a healer kaijin… probably the latter.]

[Y’all think we can find something appropriate down here?]

[Maybe.]

‘Huh…this tomb is giving me the same vibes as the library…I wonder if…’

“Yeesh, you weren’t kidding about dragon force being the bane of [Chaos]. These two look positively miserable,” Gao Dau commented in regards to the current predicament of their captives. “Is this what would happen to me if I tried to fight against someone using Dragon Force?”

“Dependzzz on the dragon, but yezzz,” Buzza answered. “Might actually be worzzzt given you’re part kaijin now.”

“Hmmm. A good trade-off. Not many people have access to Dragon Force anyways.”

At this point in time, the Fallen’s Matriarch, Torture Elder and guest kaijin, were all making their way into the inner part of the Storm Queen’s tomb.

With them in tow were a rather miserable looking Kaijin Consort (Jin Fang) and Kaijin Lord (Zhen Liu), who were both still wrapped in dragon force infused chains.

It should be noted that their misery was not attributed to the fact that they were captured, but the physical effects Dragon Force exposure had on them.

Apparently, constant external exposure to active dragon force led to [Chaos] cultivators to feel incredibly nauseous. If they were normal aether warriors, they would just be annoyed at being bound in chains.

Well, that and angry over the fact that they were prisoners while being escorted through the tomb of the predecessor/parent.

That stated, they weren’t down for the count yet.

Neither of their mouths were bound at this point of time, but that was because they both decided to keep quiet. If there was one thing they both knew about kidnapping, is that the more one struggles, the more likely that the kidnappers would implement stricter measures of bondage and deterrence.

Therefore, they knew that attempting to talk would not end well for them in the slightest.

Additionally, attempting to use [Chaos] or Aether to make their speech would also be nigh impossible. The Fallen warriors were adept at information interception, given their lifestyle, and Buzza was a creepy ass kaijin that could probably tap into his verbal communications fairly easily.

Thankfully, several years ago Daria Nerissa-Zhen had taught both her son and future daughter-in-law a method to communicate with one another without having to rely on words or aether. In other words, sign language.

It was a type of a language that could be done if one’s arms were bound in one place too…granted, the practice manacles used had Zhen Liu and Jin Fang strapped to either a wall or a bed post, but the logic still held.

Either way, this meant that Jin Fang and Zhen Liu could communicate and come up with a means to turn the tables on these assholes once again. The latter was usually good at shit like that anyways.

‘Xiao Liu, please tell me you have a plan for us to escape. I don’t want to die in the same place where the mama is never buried. Wait…I think misordered that…’

‘I…have bits of a plan, but it depends on… one, maybe two factors.’

‘What factors?’

‘Well…for starters, does this place feel similar to the Library to you?’

‘I mean…I guess? They’re both technically underwater.’

‘Not that, the [Chaos].’

‘Oh…in that case, yeah.’

‘Also, in that [Chaos] do you sense something…familiar? Like, when you watch me sync up with the kaijin?’

‘I…think so? I’ve only been training with [Chaos] for a few months. It actually feels closer to what my ball feels like…weird…’

‘Okay, this means I have a plan. Jin Fang, I need you to bite me.’

‘Alright if…hold up, what the fuck?’

‘If I’m right, I’m gonna need a bit of my blood to turn this situation around. These guys didn’t manage to cut me, so I need to make my own blood.’

‘Okay…why can’t you do it yourself?’

‘I am too scared of biting my own tongue off by mistake and I trust you to bite me light enough to make me bleed just enough.’

‘I…you know, I always figured I’d be biting you at some point. Just figured it’d be somewhere private…and soundproof…and a bedroom.’

‘Actually, now that I think about it, I might need some of your blood too…so I’m gonna have to bite you.’

‘Previous statement stands and has been reinforced.’

“Well isn’t that cute? The couple is sharing one last kiss. How touching.”

“Hmmm. For a royal burial chamber, it seems a bit sparse.”

“That’zzz becauzzze you’re uzzzing the wrong zzzenzzzezzz. [Chaos] is key here.”

“He’s not wrong, matriarch. The power here is…dense.”

The Storm Queen’s tomb looked fairly typical for powerful cultivators.

Many cultivators of high ranks, tend to bury themselves in large tombs filled with their world treasures that could enhance anyone’s cultivation…and a whole mess of traps.

Mind you, these traps were not meant to prevent cultivators from raiding their tombs and taking their stuff. Rather, it was to weed out the unworthy individuals and make sure the claimant was worthy.

That didn’t seem to apply this time around, because the Storm Queen’s burial treasures and coffin seemed relatively sparse.

By aether standards at least.

By the standards of [Chaos], a lot of these treasures were weird and powerful.

“From what I’m sensing, Matriarch, is that the Storm Queen must’ve made all of these by her own hands. Any of these items would be enough to make you unbeatable. Once you cultivate [Chaos] that is.”

“Which means it’s imperative for me to find the right parts for myself,” Gao Shen Yuan determined. “But for now…which of these treasures feel the most powerful to you two?”

“Izzzn’t obviouzzz?,” Buzza asked as he tapped his chintous fingers against the stone coffin of the Storm Queen. “Zzzhe wazzz a warrior before all else. Meaning…”

“Any good warrior is buried with their weapon,” Gao Shen Yuan determined before placing her foot against the edge of the coffin’s lid.

As she did, Gao Dau joined her to her right.

“On three.”

“One.”

“Two.”

“Three!”

Bang!

With a forceful, coordinated kick, the two Fallen warriors kicked open the Storm Queen’s tomb, and exposed her to the elements for the first time in several hundred years.

“So this is the fabled Storm Queen? As intimidating as the legends say.”

“I guess cultivating [Chaos] perseveres the body as well as aether does.”

When the duo flung open the casket, they assumed the Storm Queen’s body had rotted away.

Neither of the Fallen were sure whether or not [Chaos] functioned the same as aether in regards to improving one’s ability to live, so they were certain that they would find her body decayed while still wearing pristine armor and weapons.

Instead, they found themselves staring at the untouched corpse of the mythical Storm Queen…and the incredibly powerful equipment she was buried with.

“Okay now that’s a power I recog-”

“PTOOIE!”

“Huh?”

Evidently, nobody was expecting their prisoner to just…randomly spit.
