Kaijin Fighter: So I Have to Make Monsters, So What? – Chapter 575

Reasons for Violence

Chapter 558: Reasons for [Violence]

[Maestro, we have confirmation that Bear Uncle is in room marked as “Pinecone 2”. He and his wife appear to be sleeping peacefully. It’s honestly, very cute.]

‘Excellent, thank you. Feel free to come back whenever.’

[Anytime.]

Due to having exactly zero clue as to where his Second Uncle was at, Zhen Liu had decided to send out the kaijin once more to do one last scouting mission for the night.

He did feel a twinge of guilt having to send them out so many times in a single day, but the location this time was just a single hotel and not a giant ass city filled with people that wanted him either dead or maimed.

That and having his kaijin running around the hotel in their miniature forms was significantly less suspicious than skulking around himself with a magic pistol in one hand and a sentient bullet in the other.

Speaking of…

‘Lacerage, you feeling okay? I can sense you stressing out over here.’

[I’m fine milord, its just…uh…this is the first time I’ve ever been…palm-sized and it is a weird feeling.]

‘That’s…huh. Never had that reaction before. You don’t shrink down sometimes back home?’

[No. I usually bounce between my kaijin form and my human form and that’s it,] Lacerage explained, [unlike a certain eight-legged weirdo, I don’t like transforming into mini mode on the regular in order to spy on everybody while they’re sleeping.]

‘She does what now?’

[Oh wait…I wasn’t supposed to tell that to you…don’t tell her I told you.]

‘I’m…I’m going to have to keep better track of what y’all do on the daily.’

While the kaijin were busy trying to locate Second Uncle, Zhen Liu had used that time to open up the door to the library to let Lacerage through.

He figured it would be easier to have her be already loaded into the Possesstol rather than try to find a door near wherever his uncle was located and risk waking someone up by accident…or accidentally send them through the door just as he was about to open it on the opposite side.

It hadn’t happen yet, but it was a persistent nightmare of Zhen Liu’s that at the exact same time he used a door as a way to get to the library, some unlucky schmuck on the other side of that door gets whisked away and then he’d have to spend heavens know how long to get them out of there, hoping that they don’t touch anything and without just outright killing them. Especially since there was a POI (parasinner of interest) that may very well use that opportunity to escape and cause havoc.

It was a small possibility, but still.

“Alright…lets do this,” Zhen Liu told himself and Lacerage, moments before smacking both of his cheeks with his hands and exiting his room.

He had an uncle he needed to power up just in case, and he was running short on time already.

‘I really, really hope this is a good match,’ Zhen Liu thought to himself as he walked the halls of the hotel.

=Alright, I’m confused.=

=Why is our lord using the embodiment of [Violence] to empower his Second Uncle?=

While Zhen Liu and Lacerage were busy trying to get the latter inside of the former’s relative, Logos and Pathos had decided to review the progress of this particular task. It was in the process of reviewing this task’s progress that Logos would end up in a mental conundrum.

Namely, how the fuck was a kaijin based on the ideas of [Wind] and [Violence] supposed to help a big ole bear of a man undergo a mental breakthrough that wasn’t just…hit things harder and faster.

The last few times their lord had decided to have the kaijin possess someone, Logos could see for themselves that the…colorful personalities of the kaijin and their habits could be a boon to some of the lord’s relatives, especially in the cultivation department.

However, when it came to Lacerage and the Second Elder, Zhen Hou, Logos was stumped.

Zhen Hou, from what she had observed over time, didn’t really need a thorough understanding of [Violence].

Fortunately(?), Pathos had a better understanding as to why Zhen Liu chose Lacerage to be the one to go inside the Second Elder’s head.

The moment Pathos finished her rant of an answer, Logos looked at them like she was absolutely crazy.

A part of him wanted to ask if Pathos was crazy or if they figured out the passcode to the parental control lock he had installed to prevent another video game binge, but instead, Logos for a very simple answer.

=No.=

Pathos was unusually quiet as she sat there, trying to find the right way to explain her thoughts on the matter as to why Zhen Liu wanted to use Lacerage instead of someone like Frosttusk or Hurricroak. Thankfully, it wasn’t long.

=Pardon?=

Pathos asked incredulously,

=Okay,= Logos nodded in agreement to the exercise, but also being confused as hell.

The logical spirit curator was silent for a moment as they began to call up all the relevant information they had on Zhen Hou.

=Well…He’s the second son of the Aether Lord, Zhen Hai,was born with an Omni aether affinity and is currently inscribed with the [Steel Bear Sutra] formula. He is also currently an Aether Master Fifth Ring, very close to breaking through. He’s not incredibly talented, but he’s not lacking in it either. He’s…average in terms of aether cultivation.=

=Zhen Hou has four children, eldest of which is Zhen Yue, while the other three are minors that are younger than ten years of age. He cares a great that his oldest has a good life and that his younger children grow up to be happy, healthy and stronger than himself. He wants to make sure they have a good future.=

=Honestly should be the standard for fathering in general, but yes.=

=I would say yes, but…=

=From what I’ve seen of the man, he is surprisingly…cautious. Not in the same way as the Fifth Elder who wanted things under control, or the Fourth Elder who would wait for someone to make the choice before him. It’s more like…he is thinking too much of what could go wrong and not enough of what has already gone wrong…=

=Huh?=

=Huh…that…was surprisingly deep.=

=…did you steal that from one of the lord’s pop culture media things?=

<..maybe.>

=Of course.=

‘Alright, room Pine 02…man this was surprisingly far,’ Zhen Liu said to himself as he stared at the door to his Second Uncle’s room.

It turned out that the Second Uncle’s suite was precisely one floor above him but was on the complete opposite end of Zhen Liu’s own room.

Evidently, one doesn’t notice how much they miss the usage of elevators unless they’re forced to walk what was essentially a half a football field’s length in hallways and stairs.

‘Aight, lets get this over with, shall we?,’ Zhen Liu asked himself as he began to reach the door knob.

His hand was just about an inch away from the door knob, when all of a sudden, the door in front of him began to move and wiggle, a clear sign that it was about to be opened from the other side.

‘Oh…fuck.’
