Kaijin Fighter: So I Have to Make Monsters, So What? – Chapter 750

Going Home Finally getting back to the fun stuff

Chapter 733: Going Home & Finally getting back to the fun stuff

*Bing-Bong*

The writer of this work would like to notify the reader that the scene of Jin Fang and Rianna making it clear that Zhen Liu is not to monopolized has been removed because, to quote, “I’m fairly certain that the readers can come up with a saucier scene than I can, so let their imagination run wild” and not because the writer is a zero experience having, lazy mother-

STICK TO THE SCRIPT!

MAKE ME, YOU WANNABE WIZARD!

Why you-!

-Okay, they’re going at it again…let’s see here…ah! Here we go…-

The scene where Jin Fang and Rianna come downstairs and catch Zhen Liu and Jinju Ren mid-kiss has been removed, due to the explicit nature in which the two of them showcase their close relationship with Zhen Liu.

It was deemed by the author to be “too unrealistic” and “too absurd even by most harem standards”. That and he wanted to get back to something a bit more interesting.

-Personally, I really doubt that…I just think the writer just got lazy…it was just a super detailed kiss scene…maybe once we get a comic we can actually get this scene made…anyways!-

Instead, we will be fast forwarding a bit. Don’t worry, there’ll be a small narration explaining what is going on.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you.

-Are you guys done fighting yet or…-

HEY, YOU SAID NO BITING!

I SAID “YOU” CAN’T BITE ME. I CAN BITE YOU THOUGH.

HYPOCRITICAL BI-AH!

-…man, I do not get…wait…I don’t even get paid at all, why am I here?-

After spending an evening packing up their stuff and promising to write and visit, the branch clan finally left Willow Scale City and began their long journey back to the Stampeding Bison continent and their home city of Stone Claw.

Perhaps Stone Claw City wasn’t their “true” ancestral home, but it was a place that the branch clan had spent decades building up as their own and they would be remiss in not taking care of the place.

Besides, they couldn’t leave the place in the hands of the secretaries and second-in-commands forever.

In a contrast to their arrival to Willow Scale City though, the branch clan didn’t join up with any other caravans that were heading to Stone Claw. Instead, they were going by themselves…well…mostly themselves.

Due to an unforeseen marriage proposal, a pair of vessels carrying the mark of the Pearl Scale Emperor was floating alongside the branch clan’s fleet of caravan boats.

One belonged to the 38th Imperial Princess, Jinju Ren, who insisted on going with the branch clan on their way back to Stone Claw City because, to quote the woman herself, “It’s only fair that I get to meet the woman whom I will be sharing my future darling with, in person.” The fact that it was also a chance for her to see the wider world without having her older brother or rest of her family involved was just a nice little bonus.

The other vessel belonged to Zhong Wei, an old master that the Imperial Family assigned to the princess as a tutor/bodyguard. The man was polite enough and had managed to convey himself as an affable fellow to Patriarch Zhen Shi, but the man had this strange aura to him that put people off. Most people describe it as, “the feeling one produces when they have done something over a thousand times”.

None of the branch clan members knew this, but this actually the sixth time Zhong Wei had been given this type of assignment before, albeit, it was not in sequential order of royal heirs.

Regardless, the presence of the Imperial vessels, and a crazy strong hermit with anima powers, was making the trip back to Pearl Scale Harbor, a surprisingly smooth one.

Nary a beast nor bandit was in sight as the flotilla kept floating on.

In fact, it was so peaceful that multiple members of the clan took this opportunity to actually relax for once this entire trip.

On the way to Willow Scale, the branch clan had their back in notches due to trying to figure out if it was at all possible for them to make amends with the main clan.

While they were in Willow Scale, they had to deal with the fact that not only were they technically “foreigners”, but that they also had to send in their scions to fight against the main branch’s most talented disciples and hidden geniuses from around the world, for the sole purpose of having the main clan no longer hate the branch clan.

And that’s not including the terrorist attack and escaped convicts.

So the fact that they managed to resolve all of those issues, without injury or losing a single person and even getting rewarded for their efforts in those latter two issues, was the most stress relieving thing in this world or the next.

As such, it was under these circumstances that Zhen Liu found himself hopping between vessels in the flotilla out of boredom until finally finding his eldest cousin, currently gazing into the horizon like a the protagonist of some cheesy romance/adventure novel.

Of course, he’d never say that to his face.

“Hey, Zhen Hai. Found anything interesting to look at while we continue to float down this river?”

“Not really. Then again, it was like this the last time we-what the…”

“What? Is there something on my face?”

“No…why are you wearing a scarf here of places? It’s boiling hot and humid as all hell.”

“Oh. Uh…got a bit of a neck chill. Don’t worry about it.”

“Uh…huh…bit of advice here. If you want to get rid of hickeys on your neck, wrap a piece of ice in an absorbent cloth and apply directly to the area. Cools the blood and if you can, use aether.”

“How did you-?!”

“You’ve met Gianna, you ever wonder how she managed to get that particular shade of purple for her lipstick?”

“Ah…you wanna talk about it, or-”

“Not more than you want to talk about the marks on your neck.”

“Fair enough.”

For some context, the night prior to their departure, Jinju Ren had found it prudent to leave a hickey on Zhen Liu’s neck after the two had shared their first kiss together.

Jin Fang found out shortly after and proceeded to leave her own hickey in retaliation.

Rianna left one as well, not knowing the full meaning behind the action…or so she said anyways…she had this weird look in her eyes when she wanted to do it.

Either way, the hickeys on Zhen Liu’s neck didn’t fade in the morning as he had hoped, so he ended up dressing a bit more conservative than usual.

Granted, a scarf in the middle of humid riverlands was about as subtle as wearing a white shirt at a barbeccue restaurant, definitely attracted more attention than if he just walked around with his neck exposed.

As Zhen Liu and Zhen Hai continued to float down the river, their eyes on the horizon still, the former eventually figured that since they weren’t doing anything important, contacted Logos and Pathos.

“Welp… Imma go do other things. Thanks for the advice.”

“Sure thing.”

‘So has the boney banshee zako stablize enough for me to finalize her evolution or…’

=By our calculations she should be…that said, this is the first time we’ve ever had to do something like this.=

‘Beg pardon?’

∆She means that this the first time we’ve ever had to help a Parasinner influenced zako evolve into a kaijin. Normal zakos, we’ve done before. Something like this…it’s interesting.∆

‘Well…good to know that I’m somehow a novelty even though y’all have dealt with a bunch of other kaijin lords before.’

∆To be fair, you are also the least bloodthirsty kaijin lord we’ve been in charge of…so far.∆

=Either way, milord. Feel free to drop by the library whenever you can, then we can proceed to adding a new kaijin to the roster.=

∆It feels like it’s been ages since we did that!∆

‘It hasn’t been that long. I made that Taffy kaijin a couple weeks back.’

∆You mean the adoption case? I don’t count that, you can’t call them up to fight whenever like the others.∆

=And to be completely fair milord, you already have a stretching fighter one your roster in the form of the proto-kaijin, Spring Brawler. Who still hasn’t figured out their main core yet…=

∆Maybe he’s feeling shy?∆

————–Speaking of Kaijin————————

As was tradition at this point, the kaijin were given free reign to roam around the flotilla to do whatever while Zhen Liu did his thing.

Normally, they would do in their “tiny forms” as it was the least conspicuous manner for them to do so.

This time however…they were going to try and not do that.

[Alright y’all, rules are simple. You make one lap around the flotilla while in your human form while looking as natural as you can. You get caught, you try to lose your pursuers as fast as you can without killing them. You turn mini, you lose. First to do it, win.]

[Aye!]×4

[Let’s go.]
