Chapter 250: If I can’t have you, then no one will
“Aether, you must understand that in this Empire, those with an affinity for Air Elements have a significant advantage, due to its geographical nature…. It appears your body is not only capable of wielding flames and ice but also… Air. You better not try to use it here, as it would be like adding fuel to an already scorching fire!”
Those were the stern and cautionary words of the Principal when she witnessed Aether training with Air Elements.
And of course, being a diligent student… Aether did exactly the opposite of what she advised.
Moreover, he had recently come across old, weathered books….
He was eager to test out the techniques he had learned now…
As he extended his hands, he could feel the air molecules vibrating around him, like tiny whispers urging him on. His mind raced through the principles of aerodynamics, the behaviour of gases under pressure, and the conductive properties of charged particles.
Liora’s smirk deepened, her eyes glinting with a mix of amusement and anticipation as she felt the air around them vibrating… too much.
With a focused intent, Aether accelerated the particles, creating a zone of high pressure around him, almost grounding around a cave.
ssssss
His calculated twist of the wrist channelled Arcane energy to compress the air into a concentrated sphere, its surface crackling with static electricity. The static discharge built up, forming a visible corona of blue energy around the sphere, like a miniature storm waiting to be unleashed.
The audience watched the scene in awe, their expressions a mixture of fear and fascination. Aria’s heart raced wildly as she saw Aether, Her body grew warm with a mix of admiration and anxiety.
“Electrocyclone!” he mumbled, thrusting his hands forward and the sphere shot toward Liora.
The compressed air sphere shot out, trailing a spiralling vortex of charged particles. As it travelled, it grew in size, the static electricity intensifying and forming arcs of lightning that danced around the cyclone.

Liora’s eyes widened in shock as she saw the incoming attack. She could feel the raw power emanating from it, a force that seemed capable of tearing the very air apart.
However…
Instead of counter-attacking or even attempting to block, she made the reckless decision to take the hit head-on.
BBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!
The impact was cataclysmic. The compressed air exploded outward with a deafening roar, the electrical charge releasing in a blinding flash of light. The shockwave obliterated the rocks, sending debris flying in all directions, creating a scene of utter devastation.
Aether stood, his chest heaving with exertion, as he watched the aftermath of his attack. The ground where the Electrocyclone had struck was scorched and shattered, a testament to the devastating power he had unleashed.
The audience, gripped by a mix of terror and awe, began to flee the scene, their faces pale with fear. Even Maelona and Aria, usually composed and confident, were shocked by the sheer scale of Aether’s potential. It was far beyond what anyone had anticipated.
Kaelith was also shocked… more like he was taken aback.
‘-ha- Fuck! Did I kill…. her?’ Aether’s mind raced with panic as he snapped out. He couldn’t believe he was fighting his target instead of seducing her.
The weight of his actions hit him hard, and he glanced at his Log notification….
‘Is she an… M?’ Aether couldn’t believe it but doubted looking at the exponential affection points….. before looking at the source as the dust settled.
Through the clearing dust and debris, Aether saw a figure emerging.
It was a wolf, its fur slightly singed and its body bearing a few minor wounds. The sight of the creature, still standing despite the ferocity of his attack, left him stunned.
“H-Huh?” Aether was taken aback. He was sure he had put everything into this attack, yet…
“There is no need to be so shocked… To be honest, it should be me who is surprised. For a Low-Level Human to hurt me, who is at the peak of my level… Pretty amusing!” Liora’s voice was steady and calm as she slowly transformed back into her human form.
Aether gulped inwardly. ‘I-I see… Looks like I have a lot to improve,’ he thought. He was just about to act on his impulse to punch her, hoping to seduce her since he knew she was kind of ‘M.’
But upon looking closer into her mysterious, glowing eyes, he found himself almost captivated.
He had never seen eyes like those in his life. They were different, unique, and…
“So gorgeous…” Aether mumbled subconsciously, his voice filled with a mix of admiration and… a hint of possessing it!
‘Ba-dump’
“Hmm?” Liora blinked, surprise flickering across her face as she touched her heart. For a moment, it had skipped a beat.

Her lips curled into a sly smile. “N-Not bad, not bad at all…” she murmured, her tail wagging slightly.
She leaned in closer to Aether, her eyes glinting mischievously, and,
“~Hmm~”
She kissed him, her lips pressing against his for a brief, electrifying moment before she hurriedly pulled back as an arrow whizzed between them.
Sssssshhhhh
“YOU THIEVING BITCH!!!!” Aria’s shout rang out, filled with fury as she unleashed a barrage of arrows at Liora. Her expression was a storm of anger, her eyes blazing with wrath.
Liora giggled, effortlessly dodging the arrows with a dancer’s grace. “Even if you are chosen ones… You definitely need a lot more experience to even hurt me,” she taunted, her voice dripping with arrogance. Her words only fueled Aria’s rage, but despite her relentless attack, none of the arrows found their mark.
Until,
With a smirk, Liora added, “Your husband tastes very sweet, darling~”
Those words shattered Aria’s composure. Her mind snapped, and her resolve turned into a dark…. Yandere Appeared!
Sssssshhhhhh
An ominous arrow appeared as she drew her bowstring back. Liora flinched, sensing the imminent danger.
‘W-What was that?’ Liora gulped unconsciously as her instincts screamed to run away!
Just as Aria was about to release the string, Kaelith intervened, standing up and stopping his daughter.
“I presume you will keep your word, Liora Darkfang,” Kaelith said, his voice calm but authoritative.
“Of course, I will… Hehe…” Liora giggled, winking at Aether. “I will get what I want,” she declared, before disappearing in a blur of motion.
“YOU FUCKING BITCH!! COME HERE! I WILL TORMENT YOU!!” Aria screamed in frustration, her body trembling with rage…. She glared at Kaelen, who took the opportunity to quietly slip away.
“Fuck!” he muttered under his breath as he hurriedly made his escape.
Aria bit her lips, her eyes locking onto Aether as he walked toward her with an awkward smile. The thought of Liora’s kiss still lingered in her mind, fueling her need to reclaim and purify his lips immediately.
Without hesitation, she leapt at him, sealing his lips with her own in a fierce, passionate kiss!
Meanwhile,
“Aether…” Alaric sitting on his throne, growled through gritted teeth, veins bulging on his forehead as he read the report.
The pieces finally fell into place: this boy had been the root of all his troubles from the very beginning. Aether had opposed him, disrespected him, and now, had the audacity to steal his wife.
His anger simmered just beneath the surface, barely restrained by his connection to the Empress. If not for her, he would have killed that insolent boy a thousand times over.
“And that bitch!” he snarled, his voice dripping with malice, “How dare she give up her position? How am I supposed to manipulate things now?” Alaric never expected Liora, a woman renowned for her fury and strength, to act so unpredictably.
His lips twisted into a malevolent smile. “You leave me no choice then… Aria. If I can’t have you, then no one will,” he muttered, a wicked gleam in his eyes.
