Lackey’s Seducing Survival Odyssey – Chapter 254

SAA Part-2

Chapter 254: SAA Part-2

“Hmph! That bastard left me without even saying a word!” Lia shouted, her face twisted with annoyance as she sipped her favourite juice, a vibrant red crimson colour just like her eyes.

Sitting on her bed, still fuming, she replayed the events in her mind, struggling to grasp that Aether had abandoned her without so much as a goodbye. “I thought we were friends,” she muttered through gritted teeth, feeling a mix of betrayal and fury churning within her.

How could he do this to her, after everything they had been through together?

“He told Selene but not me!!!” she shouted again, her voice echoing in the room as she flung herself back onto the bed, her emotions boiling over.

When Selene had casually informed her of Aether’s departure, it had been like a punch to the gut, leaving her stunned and hurt.

“Bastard…” she hissed, taking another long sip of her juice, the crimson liquid a stark contrast to her pale, trembling fingers. Her crimson eyes flickered with a dangerous light as she resolved to teach that bastard a lesson for leaving without a word.

“Hmph,” she huffed, a sly smile creeping onto her face as she mumbled to herself, “I will make you pay for this, Aether. You won’t know what hit you.”

…..

Meanwhile, on the upper floor of the dorm,

Aqualina lay on her bed, her body drenched in sweat as it trembled with each passing moment. In her restless sleep, she mumbled incoherently, her face contorted in pain and fear.

Suddenly,

“NOOOO!!!”

She screamed, jolting awake with a start. Her face was a mask of terror, her eyes wide and unfocused.

She rubbed the bridge of her nose, trying to calm herself, “I’ve been having so many nightmares lately…” she mumbled, her voice tinged with exhaustion and dread. Ever since her weapon had recognized her, the nightmares had become more frequent and increasingly disturbing, each one more vivid and horrifying than the last. It was as if… she had killed her own mother?

Her face twisted with fear at the thought. She gulped down a glass of water, her hands shaking, before looking into the mirror and whispering, “Aether…” Her heart ached with longing and fear.

She wished, more than anything, that Aether was here to comfort her, to chase away the nightmares.

Thinking about Aether and the Elven bitch he was with made her heart twist painfully, “I hope Aether listens to my orders…” she murmured, worried that he might lose his innocence in her absence. She loved his innocent and childish face and couldn’t bear the thought of other women corrupting him.

“My lovely Aether…” She smiled softly, her expression tender as she lay back down. The mere thought of Aether seemed to banish her nightmares, allowing her to drift off into a peaceful sleep, her mind filled with thoughts of him.

…..

In the corridor of the Academy,

The principal walked briskly, her pace quickened by a sense of urgency. She was on her way to an important meeting and had no time to waste.

“Hmm? Alaric?” she muttered in surprise as she spotted Alaric walking towards her.

“That was quick. Did you already handle your divorce problem?” she asked, her tone neutral but curious. Alaric, however, said nothing, his silence heavy and unsettling.

‘It looks like it didn’t go well,’ the principal thought, observing his lifeless eyes and downtrodden demeanour.

“Anyhow, since you’re here, come with.. me…” she said, but Alaric walked past her without a word, not even acknowledging her presence.

The principal sighed, understanding his need for space. ‘I suppose I need to give him some time,’ she mused, quickening her pace towards her destination.

When she finally arrived at the guest room,

The principal smiled warmly and nodded in greeting, “Welcome, Archpriestess.”

A grey-haired woman stood there, her presence commanding yet gentle. She nodded back with a gentle, lovely smile, her eyes filled with a wisdom that spoke of many years…. while hiding some madness!

“Helena, did you really say the Archpriestess came here?” Finnian asked, his face a mixture of surprise and disbelief as he walked alongside Helena.

Helena nodded enthusiastically, her broad smile lighting up her face. “Yes,” she confirmed, her excitement almost tangible.

She could hardly contain herself, thrilled at the prospect of seeing her beloved Archpriestess after such a long time. The anticipation bubbled within her, making her feel like a fervent fan girl about to meet her idol for the first time.

A blush spread across Finnian’s cheeks before he shook off his thoughts. He sternly warned Helena, “Never tell her what happened during the game, okay?” The last thing he wanted was for the Archpriestess to learn about his humiliating defeat. The thought of her knowing made his stomach churn with anxiety.

Helena’s expression turned serious as she replied, “It’s she who gave us this life; I would rather not lie to her.” Her voice was firm, her devotion evident.

Finnian gritted his teeth in frustration.

When it came to the Archpriestess, Helena was unwavering, almost fanatically devoted. She valued the Archpriestess’s words above all others, and he understood her devotion, as he felt similarly. However, this was different.

Biting his lip, he conceded, “Fine! But only tell her if she asks, okay?” He hoped this compromise would be enough to keep his secret safe.

Helena tilted her head cutely, her expression softening, before nodding, “Okay!” Finnian sighed, relief washing over him.

Helena frowned slightly and asked, “Why are you so determined to hide your failures?” She had always been curious. Ever since they were children, Finnian had gone to great lengths to conceal his shortcomings. She wondered what made him so hesitant, especially when it came to the Archpriestess.

“It’s our Archpriestess; why bother hiding anything? She won’t hurt you or anything” she mused inwardly, puzzled by his behaviour.

Finnian shook his head, saying, “You will never understand…”

“Hmm?”

“Nothing.”

….

….

In the Faerie Arbor city,

“Where is he?” Liora demanded, her voice tinged with impatience as her eyes roamed around the house. Her frustration was evident in the way she tapped her foot and glanced around, searching for any sign of him.

“He already left for the academy,” Maelona replied, her expression weary.

Her daughter and future son-in-law had left hurriedly, much to her disappointment. Though she had hoped they would spend more time with her, she knew Aria needed to keep up with her studies.

“Left?” Liora’s face twisted with anger, her eyes narrowing. She gritted her teeth, furious that her prey had slipped away.

Clicking her tongue in frustration, she muttered, “Tsk, I should have forced him instead of relying on this nonsense!” Her voice dripped with anger.

Maelona was taken aback by Liora’s words, but she understood the nature of Liora’s tribe. It wasn’t shocking; rather, it was mildly amusing.

“Ara~ What will you do if he hates you for doing that?” she asked, her tone laced with a mix of curiosity and amusement.

Liora gritted her teeth even harder, her jaw clenched. “Hmph, I will get him one day!” she declared with determination.

The desire to use force was strong, but she knew it was wrong. She understood that Aether was human, with emotions unlike her tribe, who welcomed such actions. That was why she was doing it with patience and care!

If it was any other wolfman, she would have used the force.

Maelona sighed deeply. As much as she wanted to punch this woman, Aria was not officially married to Aether, so Aether was still fair game.

Moreover, the Darkfang tribe didn’t care if the other party was married or not. Their customs were barbaric and primitive, driven by primal instincts and desires.

Even worse, some of them even practised incest! Truly filthy animals!

“Anyhow, what have you brought now?” Maelona asked, her curiosity piqued as she noticed Liora had no gifts with her. She wondered what this visit was really about.

Liora suddenly coughed and said, “I-I will be leaving then!” She hurriedly left, her movements frantic and unsteady. Maelona frowned, wondering why she was running away so suddenly.

The answer soon became clear…

“YOUR GRACE!!” A soldier came rushing in, his face pale with fear.

Maelona’s face turned ashen. She had developed PTSD from previous incidents, and every time a soldier shouted, she felt her life draining faster than ever. The memories of past horrors resurfaced, making her heart race with dread.

Sighing deeply, she looked outside without even asking what was wrong, and…

“What the actual hell is this!!! LIORA!!!” She shouted in anger when she saw a humongous dragon lying outside, blood pooling around its massive form.

The entire street was blocked with traffic, blood, and cries of distress. The scene was chaotic and nightmarish. She felt her mind teetering on the brink of madness!
