Chapter 278: Molester!
In the Principal’s Office…
“….”
“….”
The Principal sat at her desk, her eyes fixed on Aether, who lounged casually in a chair across from her. He was whistling a light tune, spinning a mask in his hands as if he wasn’t related to the incident that almost cost a life.
Despite the chaos he had wrought, the Principal felt no anger.
Yes, The principal didn’t get angry. She’d spent enough time with Aether to understand his peculiar nature and… his relentless tendency to flirt with her during their interactions which was something she found both amusing and exasperating.
And most of all,
She couldn’t help but be fascinated by his rapid progress, ‘In such a short span of time, he’s already grown this much… truly favoured by the Arcane, I suppose,’ she mused silently.
With a resigned sigh, she broke the silence, “I suppose Professor Kennedy must have done something to provoke you, right?”
Aether, still absorbed in playing with the mask, nodded and replied, “Yes, he did.”
The Principal leaned forward, resting her elbows on her desk. “Even so, attempting to harm a professor within the academy grounds is a serious matter. You do understand that, don’t you?”
Aether shrugged, seemingly unbothered, “It was an accident,” he stated, his tone casual. “The Professor failed to check the experimental object, which was created by a student. So, really, it should be classified as an unfortunate mishap rather than an attempted murder.” A small, almost imperceptible smirk appeared on his lips.
No matter what others said, it was, after all, an experimental object. It was indeed Professor Kennedy’s duty to check it before using it, so… this was undeniably his failure.
The Principal sighed again, rubbing the bridge of her nose in frustration, “Technically, you’re right. It was Kennedy’s responsibility to ensure the safety of the materials before use. However, the fact remains that you nearly killed him. This is not something we can ignore.”
She glanced at Aether, who seemed utterly unbothered by the gravity of the situation.
She needed to administer the correct punishment… Otherwise, other students might start to imitate this behaviour, which was certainly something no one wanted.
But, Aether had created something truly remarkable, which indicated he had a knack for technology. Punishing him might discourage other technology enthusiasts from trying new things, fearing the repercussions…
As she pondered her options,
Just then,
Knock, Knock
At the sound, Aether quickly moved to put on the mask, but the Principal held up a hand to stop him. “Come in,” she called, her voice steady.
Aether turned in his seat, curious to see who had entered.
However, something blocked his vision,
“MMAASSSSTTTEERRRRRRRRRR!!!!!”‘

Suddenly, a small, cute snake darted into the room, flying straight towards him.
Aether caught the snake mid-air, grinning, “Snowflake! How are you doing? I’m sorry I couldn’t get to you yesterday. I was a bit busy” he apologized, his tone genuine as he cradled the snake in his hands. Snowflake stared at him with an intense gaze, clearly displeased.
She had been lonely! You know!

“Hateee~” Snowflake softly said as she was still displeased by his actions, before slithering up towards Aether’s face, her tongue flicking out to lick him, “W-Wait! Hahaha… that tickles… hahaha… no, no!! That’s my mouth!! Don’t—mmff….” Aether laughed, trying to gently dissuade her.
Delphine, who had entered with the snake, observed the scene with a mix of amusement and concern.

She glanced at Aether and sighed seeing him doing fine, then turned to the Principal, her expression turning serious. She handed over a small document. “Principal, you need to see this,” she said, her voice steady but urgent.
The Principal frowned as she accepted the document, “What is it?” she asked, opening the file. Her eyes scanned the contents, slowly widening in… shock.
She looked up at Delphine, her voice low and controlled, “Who?”
Delphine hesitated, then shrugged, looking down at her feet. The Principal noticed Delphine’s shadow flicker before disappearing.
The Principal’s gaze shifted to Aether’s shadow, which now flickered momentarily. Her eyes narrowed as she connected the dots, ‘I see…That maid….ah’ she thought, her mind racing, ‘Did Aether already knew?’ she wondered
She returned her focus to the document, her expression hardening, ‘To think that bastard was molesting a few female students… under my very nose…’ She clenched her fists, anger boiling within her, ‘How could I have let this happen? Pathetic!’
“We need to gather evidence,” she said, her voice cold and decisive, “Summon the students who might have been affected. We need their testimonies.”
Delphine bit her lip, clearly troubled. “They might be hesitant to speak up, Principal. Many of them are commoners… and they might fear… you know”
The Principal’s eyes flashed with fury. She understood the implications all too well. Even if they dismissed Kennedy and imprisoned him within the academy’s walls, his noble status could still intimidate the victims.
His friends and family might seek retribution. She took a deep breath, steeling herself. “Tell the students that once the investigation is complete, I will personally ensure that Kennedy is stripped of his nobility and…. end his life. Their identities will be protected. No one should fear speaking the truth.”
“….. Understood, Principal” Delphine nodded, her resolve firming.
“FUCK!!!”
Both Delphine and the Principal turned their attention back to Aether, who was now wriggling in his seat, trying to stop Snowflake from slithering under his shirt.
“D-Don’t Bite!”
“Ouch!”
“W-Wai- OUCH!”
“S-Snow, I promise I’ll never leave you alone again, so please don’t—OUCH!” Aether cried out as Snowflake nipped at his torso beneath his shirt, her small fangs leaving tiny marks on his skin.
“Hah..”
“hah…”
Both Delphine and the Principal couldn’t help but chuckle softly, a sense of satisfaction bubbling up within them. They exchanged amused glances, remembering how Aether’s antics had often left them both exasperated and embarrassed in the past.
Aether, struggling to contain the writhing snake, finally tore his shirt open in frustration. “Where is she?” he muttered, scanning his upper body, which was now covered in small snake bites.
Both Delphine and Principal had a pitiful expression seeing the bite marks but still, they felt immense satisfaction.
But then,
His eyes widened as he realized Snowflake wasn’t there, “Huh?” he frowned, confused. Then, feeling a movement lower down, he froze. “HI!!” he yelped, looking down to see a subtle movement under his pants.
“S-Snowflake,” Aether called gently, his voice taking on a softer, more coaxing tone. This was a delicate situation, and he needed to handle it carefully…. very carefully, “There’s nothing there… please come out,” he pleaded, his voice almost a whisper.
“Pffttt….”
The sight of Aether’s sudden shift in demeanour sent both Delphine and the Principal into fits of laughter. They couldn’t help themselves; the usually confident and cheeky Aether was suddenly so cautious.
“This is not a laughing matter!” Aether shouted, glaring at them. Both women quickly stifled their laughter, their smiles turning awkward as they were about to help him when,
“This is not only my future but also yours, IDIOTS!!”

Both women flinched once again. Delphine’s face turned bright red as she finally grasped the full meaning of Aether’s words.
The principal, too, frowned, understanding his implication. ‘He’s only indicating Delphine, right?’ she thought, a flicker of doubt crossing her mind.

Just as the tension in the room seemed to peak…
“Snaaaakkkkeeeee~”
Snowflake suddenly shot out from under Aether’s pants, leaping towards Delphine. The snake disappeared into the folds of her dress, hiding in her cleavage, trembling slightly.
Everyone blinked in surprise, the room falling silent for a moment.
Then, Aether sighed in relief and said with amusement, “She must have been scared of another snake—Wait! Delphine!!!”
“Principal is here, You perverted bastard!!!!!!!” Her voice echoed and,
BOOMMM!!!!!
….
…
Victor rubbed his jaw with a pained expression, ‘I couldn’t believe she almost dislocated my jaw… tsk, tsk,’ he thought, shaking his head in disbelief. His eyes then settled on Snowflake, who was wrapped around his neck with a pouty expression.
He sighed deeply, ‘Looks like I need to treat her…’ he thought, resigning himself to the task. Making up his mind, he headed towards a nearby restroom.
Once inside, he transformed into Aether and walked out into the now-empty corridor, the echoes of his footsteps the only sound in the stillness.
Just then, a voice pierced the quiet.
“Father!!” someone shouted. Aether flinched the sudden call startling him. He turned around quickly and saw… Kaelen Darkfang.
“I’ve been looking everywhere for you!” he exclaimed, his voice tinged with urgency.
