Chapter 319: Lycorian Language
“So, what are your thoughts on this matter, Mr. Victor?” Alaric inquired with an amused expression, comfortably seated while regarding Victor and Kenley, who stood before him.
As Alaric heard the details, his mind fixated on one name: Kyra.
It was the name of the person who had lodged the complaint, leading to the demise of the professor who was proficient in Technology.
A swirl of thoughts clouded Alaric’s mind, a mixture of anger and frustration. How had things escalated to this point?
He was really surprised to see Kennedy’s death and wondered who could be responsible for it!
Victor locked eyes with Alaric, he already knew this man was going to be a bitchy and biased, “As I mentioned before, I didn’t kill Professor Kennedy,” he stated firmly, his voice unwavering despite the tension in the room.
Alaric sneered, his eyes narrowing with suspicion. “But you did attempt it once, didn’t you?”
Victor stared blankly at Alaric before a grin spread across his face. “Do you have proof?” he challenged, his tone laced with confidence and defiance.
“Hmm?” Alaric arched an eyebrow.
“The last time, even the Principal acknowledged that Professor Kennedy irresponsibly used a student’s experimental object without proper testing. Therefore, the fault lies with the professor,” Victor said, his grin widening. He could see Alaric’s composure slipping, just a bit.
Victor knew bringing the ‘Principal’ was his best defence in this situation. It was his ace in the hole, the one card he could play to disrupt Alaric’s smug confidence.
Alaric’s lips twitched as he glanced at Kenley. “Still, as a blood relative claims you did it, we cannot ignore the possibility, right?” he pressed, trying to regain control of the situation.
Victor shrugged, his expression nonchalant. “I’m not sure about that. What if she’s lying just to get on my nerves?” His words were casual, but the underlying accusation was clear.
“HOW DARE YOU!!” Kenley shouted, her voice trembling with fury. Her eyes blazed with indignation, and for a moment, it seemed she might physically lash out at Victor.
Alaric gave her a silencing glance before turning back to Victor. “There is a possibility, but where were you last night?” he asked, his curiosity piqued.
Victor grinned inwardly, ‘Well, You asked for it’, ready to play his trump card, “Well, I was training with my Master. She taught me how to fight using my body, touching my leg, spreading it to 180 degrees, softly caressing it… then touching my chest, feeling my hand, and—”
“ENOUGH!!!!!” Alaric shouted, his temper barely in check. His face turned a shade of crimson, his eyes blazing with barely restrained fury. Victor could see the fury in his eyes, and it brought him a twisted sense of satisfaction.
‘This bastard… Why is she touching him?!’ Alaric fumed internally before saying, “I don’t care what you did. For now, you are under investigation!!!” Alaric had already decided to bring Victor down, though he hadn’t expected such a provocative response.
Despite being pulled into this mess, Victor had a satisfied look on his face. ‘I wonder what kind of face he’ll make when I kiss the Principal,’ he mused as they left Alaric’s office.
‘Heh…’ The thought of it was almost enough to make him laugh.
As soon as they stepped out, Kenley, with a furious expression, spat out, “You will pay for this!!” and stormed off with her friends, their footsteps echoing down the corridor like a retreating army.
Victor was tempted to slap that bitch, to lash out in anger, but he knew it would only create a scene. He clenched his fists, trying to keep his composure.
But then,
SLAP!
A resounding slap echoed in the corridor. Victor turned to see Ashara slapping Kenley with indifferent eyes. “Next time, act like a woman,” she said, her tone cold and dismissive as she walked towards Victor.
Victor watched her, amused by the unexpected turn of events. There was something satisfying about seeing Kenley put in her place so publicly.

Sometime later,
“I don’t understand why you pulled Victor into this, Vice Principal?” Delphine asked after hearing the details. Her voice was calm, but there was an edge to it, a barely concealed anger.
Alaric sighed, trying to maintain his patience. “Because Kenley, the ‘Niece’ of Kennedy Blade, made the accusation. We have to take her words seriously.”
Delphine shook her head, her frustration evident. “I don’t see any reason to believe her just because she is his niece. Besides, I’m sure you know what’s going on by now, right?”
Alaric’s face turned cold, a flicker of irritation crossing his features. “Miss Delphine, I am the Vice Principal, and the Principal has given me the power to handle this case as I see fit. I hope you understand.”
Delphine’s expression hardened, her eyes narrowing. “The same Principal gave me the authority to handle Kyra’s case. Kenley bullied Kyra and pushed her to the brink of suicide. I don’t think she is trustworthy in this case. So, I hope you understand.”
The tension between them was palpable, ready to erupt into a confrontation. Both of them stood their ground, neither willing to back down.
Ding~Dong
Hearing the bell, Alaric stood up, his movements stiff with barely contained anger. “I need to leave now…” He paused before adding, “No matter what, I believe Victor is involved in this case from the beginning, and I have the right to take action!” He opened the door, motioning Delphine to leave.
Delphine gritted her teeth in annoyance as she walked out of Alaric’s office. Her mind raced with thoughts of how to protect Victor and Kyra.
“Tsk, what’s wrong with these women? They seem to side with Victor for some unknown reason,” Alaric mumbled, annoyed, as he turned to leave his office.
“Tsk, What’s wrong with these women? They seem to siding with Victor for unknown reasons” He mumbled with an annoyed face before turning to leave his office room.
Then,
“Hehe… It’s only a matter of time…” a mechanical voice echoed in the room.
…
…
Delphine, her face filled with frustration, walked through the corridor, mumbling, “I cannot believe that girl had the nerve to complain about Victor after what she did to Kyra.” She wanted to punish those girls, but without Kyra’s complaint, who feared retaliation, her hands were tied.
“Tsk, I really hate—” Her words stopped when she saw Aria and Aether sitting under a tree on the playground. The sight of them together, so close and comfortable, made her stomach churn with a mix of jealousy and anger.
Veins popped on her forehead as she saw Aria touching Aether’s hand. “I’ve had enough of this…” she muttered, jealousy and anger bubbling up as she walked towards them. Her heart pounded with a mixture of emotions.
Meanwhile,
“That’s it, Aether. Now it’s your turn to understand the language…” Aria said, motioning with her hand as she drew something in the air.
Aether watched her closely, his eyes following her every movement. “I am a good girl,” he read aloud.
“Hmm,” Aria nodded, continuing her motions with a soft smile on her face.
Aether read on, his face serious as he concentrated. “I love my hubby too much. I feel lonely when he’s not with me. I want his love every night and for him to fill me up with his coc—”
“Hey!! I didn’t write those things!!” Aria gently slapped his shoulder, her face beet red. Embarrassment and shock made her heart race. How could he have read her thoughts so accurately?
Though she had thought those things, she was too conservative to say them out loud.
NO! Way, that would be a shame that never dies!
Aether chuckled warmly, finding her reaction endearing, “I suppose that was Goo–zhui tay-al, na-ee-el en ee-ai vo-ree-el.”
Aether’s eyes widened in surprise, looking at Aria, who also seemed astonished. It felt as if Aether had suddenly become fluent in their language, his tone more refined and natural.
She then said, “Aether, awe! Ee thay-em en-vai un ray-en yee.” (“Aether, wow! I believe you’ve truly grasped it.”)
‘Fuck! I can understand now!!’ Aether thought inwardly. He wrote a few words on the notes, and this time, the words flickered briefly but didn’t change back to his original language.
They stayed in the new language of this world.
‘Looks like I finally learned it,’ Aether thought, smiling. He looked at Aria with gratitude, leaning down to kiss her cheek. Aria’s heart beat faster as she closed her eyes, anticipation making her breath catch…
However,
“Hmm, Lycorian Language…?” Delphine said, curious and annoyed, as she looked at the notes and then at Aether with a furious expression.
