Chapter 342: Academy is in Danger Part-9
“I can’t hear you~”
“Arhh!”
“What did this bitch just say?” Aether asked, his voice laced with dark amusement as he stared at Kenley’s disfigured face, the remnants of her earlier arrogance shattered along with her features.
“A-Aether, that’s enough!” Helena’s voice trembled with urgency as she watched the scene unfold, her gaze flicking toward Victor, who calmly unleashed flames like a fire extinguisher, reducing the spider-like heads to ashes. Their screams echoed briefly before being snuffed out by the consuming fire.
Raven observed Victor with a mix of curiosity and intrigue, ‘He’s capable of channelling Arcane energy within his body… that’s actually quite new,’ she mused, noting the slight tremor in her own hand, a side effect of the lack of Arcane energy in their surroundings.
Her gaze then shifted to Aether, her curiosity deepening, ‘And him… he’s faster than I expected,’ she thought.
Few minutes, The events had unfolded so quickly…. when Kenley had dared to command Victor to lick her foot, Aether’s reaction was instant, a blur of motion that even Raven’s keen eyes struggled to track. In mere seconds, Aether had appeared before Kenley, slamming her into the wall, shattering both her face and the glass sink in the process.
Victor, undeterred, had simply turned his attention back to the creatures, unleashing his fire upon them without missing a beat.
Raven frowned slightly, her analytical mind racing, ‘Is it natural speed, or something else entirely?’ She made a mental note to keep a closer watch on Aether, curious about his true capabilities.
Meanwhile, Aether shook off his fury, his gaze sweeping over the broken sink and Kenley’s bloodied, battered face.
Pity? Was nowhere to be found in his eyes.
Instead, he turned his attention to Helena, his expression softening as he said, “She was trying to scare you, right?… Don’t worry, I’ll protect you!” His voice was earnest, the sincerity behind his words undeniable as he smashed Kenley’s head against the sink once more.
“Arrrhhh!!!” Kenley groaned in agony, the realization of her own powerlessness dawning on her. Never in her wildest dreams had she imagined a mere servant—a lowly servant—daring to lay a hand on her!

Helena’s heart pounded in her chest, her face flushing a deep crimson, ‘S-So he was doing this for me?’ she thought, her pulse quickening at the realization. Her heart skipped a beat before she forced herself to focus, “B-But we don’t have time, Aether, we need to finish it!” she urged, her voice trembling with a mix of fear and urgency.
“Yeah, we need to finish it…” Aether agreed with a nod, before forcing Kenley’s mouth onto his shoe. “Now lick it, bitch!!” he commanded, his voice cold and unyielding.
“….”
“….”
The girls stared at Aether in stunned silence before glancing over at Victor, wondering if there was some unspoken bond of ‘brotherhood’ at play here.
But in reality, Aether was really pissed off by this bitch, he really wanted to teach this bitch how he was!
Kenley glared up at Aether, her eyes burning with hatred as she mumbled incoherently, “mmiffff fmfmfmf fmmmf ssss!!!”—a garbled threat that would have translated to, “You will pay for this!!”
“Hmm? What was that?” Aether asked mockingly, before shoving his shoe deeper into her mouth, nearly choking her in the process.
“A-Aether, stop!” Helena shouted, her voice sharp with distress.
“Okay, Your Majesty~” Aether replied with a wink, pulling back as he relented.

Helena’s face turned an even deeper shade of red as she glared at Aether. ‘Why is he calling me that?!… though, I kind of like it… for some reason… Sigh, I really don’t know what to say,’ she thought, her emotions swirling in confusion.
…..
….
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the chaos,
“Hold it right there!!” Alaric shouted at the professors who were desperately trying to restrain the massive metallic spider, its sharp legs thrashing violently.
“Arrhhh!” One of the professors screamed in agony as the spider’s leg sliced through his hand, severing it completely.
“Tsk!” Alaric clicked his tongue in frustration before leaping onto the spider’s back, trying to cover its crystal eyes. “Now, break its legs!!!” he ordered, his voice filled with urgency.
The professors obeyed, hacking at the spider’s legs with their swords, each blow met with resistance as they struggled to sever the metallic limbs.
Alaric’s mind raced as he tried to locate the spider’s power source, knowing it had to be connected to Kennedy, ‘That bastard! Even in death, he’s still a pain in the butt’ he thought, gritting his teeth as he tried to dislodge the mechanical parts.
Chccckkkk!!!
“AARRRRHHHH!!” Another professor cried out in pain, impaled by the spider’s sharp leg.
“Tsk! Throw me the rope, let’s rope it down!!” Alaric shouted, his mind working furiously to find a way to bring the monstrous machine to its knees.
….
….
In the stadium, tension hung in the air as students nervously eyed the bloodied remnants of Aqualina’s team, their faces marked with exhaustion and pain.
Taylor, sensing the urgency, rushed to Aqualina’s side, his hands trembling slightly as he tried to patch up her wounds.
An elderly woman from the infirmary moved among the others, administering aid as best she could.
“What happened?” a student asked, his voice laced with dread as he took in the sight of his injured Elite class students.
If Chosen ones were like that, he wondered what would happen to them!
They might have died!!
That fear alone turned their head pale!
Aqualina, grimacing as Taylor worked on her wounds, stayed silent, her eyes shifting to Kai, who held up a small crystal ball, its surface glimmering faintly.
“Did you really get it?” someone asked, hope flaring in their voice.
Kai nodded, a small, weary smile on his face. “Yes.”
Relief washed over the group, their expressions brightening as the possibility of escape seemed within reach.
Then, another group entered the stadium…..Aether’s group.
Aqualina’s eyes immediately locked onto Aether, her heart tightening with worry. But when she saw that he was unharmed, she let out a sigh of relief…. only to frown as she noticed Helena holding onto him, a little too close for comfort.
‘Nah, She’s just helping him,’ Aqualina reassured herself, though her gaze lingered.
But then, her eyes fell on Kenley, and the air grew tense. The sight of her sent ripples of unease through the crowd.
“Oh~ Someone beat us to it,” Aether muttered his tone a mix of disappointment and amusement.
Aqualina managed a smile, despite the tension, “So, you got it?”
Aether looked to Raven, who revealed a small black crystal. The sight of it sparked hope anew in everyone’s hearts. They were so close now, just a few more pieces, and they could escape this nightmare.
Suddenly, Kenley’s voice broke through the moment of hope, her laughter twisted and cruel.
“Hahaha… do you think getting those will help you get out?” Her bloody mouth smeared her words, splattering them across the stadium like a curse. “Y-You will die… Every one of you will die here pathetically!!! Hahahaa—”
Her haughty voice echoed like pouring Chilling Water on hopeful flames!
“Shut the fuck up, bitch!” Aether’s voice was a snarl, and before anyone could react, he punched Kenley in the mouth, the sickening crunch of breaking teeth echoing through the air.
“Arrhhh!”
The students recoiled at the sight, their faces twisting in shock and horror as they watched Aether’s ruthless display.
As the tension settled and the details were exchanged, another group arrived.
Kai’s eyes lit up with relief as he spotted his sister. “Selene?”
But there was no relief in Selene’s eyes, nor in the eyes of her group.
Their faces were pale, their spirits crushed…. More like they were literally had a fear!
Aqualina frowned, sensing something was wrong. “What happened?”
“We couldn’t find anything,” Selene admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.
“… Huh?” Aqualina’s voice cracked with disbelief.
“HUH!!” The collective shock rippled through the stadium, a wave of dread sweeping over everyone.
Kenley tied up and bloodied, cackled maniacally. “Haha… Now you understand, bitches!!”
“I said shut the fuck up!!”
Splatter!!
“AAARRRRRRHHHHH!!!”
Aether’s kick connected with Kenley’s crotch, a brutal blow that had even the girls in the crowd instinctively covering themselves, their faces painted with horror and disbelief.
Aether, seemingly unperturbed, merely dusted off his hands, a dark smirk on his face.
He believed in gender equality…. sometimes!
Then, from the crowd, a shout rang out, “Vice-Principal!!” All eyes turned to see Alaric, dragging limbless professors behind him, their once-proud forms now reduced to broken, bleeding husks.
Aether’s eyes widened in shock, his gaze zeroing in on one figure in particular. “D-Delphine?” His voice was a broken whisper as he saw Delphine, her right hand severed, her face a mask of pain and defiance.
“!!!!!!”
A pure, unadulterated killing intent radiated from him, the air around him growing heavy and oppressive.
Almost everyone shits themself… even Alaric, battle-hardened and resolute, flinched before that intense gaze.
/Calm down, Aether!/ Taylor’s voice echoed in his mind.
