Re: Player – Chapter 100

Chapter 100 Truth about the Elves

Chapter 100: [Truth about the Elves!]

“Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Trisha!!” Nvida broke the awkward silence with a panicked expression.

“What are you even saying?” She added as she looked at her with eyes in disbelief.

“Isn’t that what you were trying to offer but can’t because of your constitution?” Trisha, who seemed to not understand much, asked Nvida. Trisha was rather calm about it, and I don’t think she is ignorant enough to not understand what we were talking about, either.

“THIS and THAT are different!!” Nvida shouted in a distressed voice as she watched Trisha standing there trying to make sense out of it.

Well. It is really a pity, but I guess I should limit my lust and not think from my crotch this time.

“I will explain for you, but that will be extra charges,” I spoke, catching the attention of the girls around.

“Trisha. Don’t mind, but Elves are honestly a selfish race. They are too hell bent on keeping up with their rules. I don’t know how much you know about it, but outsiders, and even most elves, are forbidden to meet the High Elves.”

And from there, I began explaining in detail about the elves.

Ironic that I was teaching a High Elf about the elves. Ignorant and overcautious as the elves are, it’s not much of a surprise that they hide things, even from their elders and leaders.

To keep it simple, Elves aren’t a white race, with only pure and humble nature. In fact, they are more cunning than most races. But they do have to maintain the facade.

And they have certain ‘laws’ and ‘rules’ that all elves must follow for ‘Being pure.’ It’s a forced concept that even prevents racial marriages or being friends with another race if you are an elf at a higher position.

‘And honestly, that’s not even the Jist of it,’ I sighed as I told Trisha how the entire elf kingdom would come to circumcise me. And that is, if I even think about doing something with her.

“It will be no less than a minor war with me and the elves.” I looked at Trisha with a modest smile. It was regrettable, but the payment was not worth it.

‘At least not now,’ I smiled on the inside as I jolted down the fact that I can, in fact, do Trisha with an ample amount of planning.

“Is that why they never let me meet my friend after he grew up?” Her eyes widened in realization as she reflected on my words. Perhaps an old incident?

“You sure know about the elves a lot.” Nvida was more impressed by my field of knowledge about the elves. Even Anna and Leena seemed to make the same expression.

“A merchant must always have connections and information sources,” I winked at her with a smile. She shook her head before looking at Trisha, who seemed to be lost in her thoughts right now.

“Trisha-” Nvida was about to console, but Trisha spoke first.

“Should I just… kill them all? You aren’t wrong Wesker…. everything you say fills up the gaps of information they provided and the actions that they did.”

Nvida panicked hearing those words, but I smiled.

“It’s not worth it. You will forget about it as soon as you enter the Elf Kingdom. They do have prepared for any or all situations. How do you think they functioned for so long without getting caught?”

“Huh?!” Trisha looked at me with her eyes widened, while Nvida was shocked as well.

Though there was a difference in their reasons for shock. Trisha couldn’t believe what she had just heard, while Nvida already knew everything, but was shocked that I knew this much.

-Whoosh!!

A branch appeared from the tree trunk on the side, straight towards my heart, aimed to kill me at once.

-Snap!

But it vanished with a click as Trisha looked at Nvida with a rather unemphatic look.

“Did you know about?” Trisha asked as she looked at Nvida, making her look down in shame.

-Snap!

And with another snap, she killed Nvida in an instant, making even me surprised. It wasn’t a wrong decision by any means. In fact, it was the best decision.

‘But the problem is that she didn’t hesitate to kill someone whom she knew for ages.’ I looked at Trisha, having an angered expression as she spoke,

“Apologies that you have to witness all this. But may I ask you if you know a way for me to not forget about it? I have to pay back those manipulators.”

‘We are going off topic, huh? It’s nice and all, but I didn’t come here for this,’ I thought as I opened the [System] and.

Repeating everything to the point, we once again reached the situation where I began explaining about the Elves and their customs. But rather than telling everything to the point, I just spoke that,

“Elves consider their High Elves quite sacred. It would be like committing a taboo if I even touch you. Not something that I would like to happen, to be honest.”

While it wasn’t much, I got to know that if I needed to get Trisha on my side, all I needed to do was tell her the truth. Manipulating her from there would be a piece of cake.

‘And also that… Nvida is a bigger b*tch that I thought she was.’ I looked at her for a few moments as she was explaining to Trisha how I was right.

“Well. If that doesn’t work, then is there anything else that we can give you?” Trisha seemed rather concerned about it. Seems like she was really sincere about saving the forest.

I gave it a bit of a thought before I recalled something important. It wasn’t from Trisha, but Nvida. Though I did not know if this wish was going to be fulfilled or not.

“Actually, there is something you can give me… I want to borrow the forest,” I said as I observed her.

“…”

Being thrown into the game-world of [Call of the Black Magicians], Adam was forced to survive with no prior information. Except for his memories of the Game-World and his name, he did not have any memories of his previous life. But fret not, even though the Game-World had many perils and was on the verge of extinction at every next step, it also had its beauty and magic, one to die for. With the authority of [Player], he could save and restart until he achieved his desired result. He could learn skills of the ‘NPCs’ and achieve the results like the ‘Players.’ He could literally solo the entire game world to achieve his desired results. Whether he wants to save the world or destroy it, he could do it… as many times as he wishes. Even the [Black Magicians] won’t be able to do anything about it… probably. But was it all there was to it? [Beta Version 0.1 will begin in 6 Months: 29 days: 23 Hours!] I guess not… … Description: In the World of Zarraf, their lives Gods, not all Gods are good and certainly none are without motives. They rule the world’s 7 nations: The Nation of Light and Sun The Nation of Water The Nation of Fire The Nation of Life The Nation of Earth The Nation of Moon The Nation of Wind Each ruled by a goddess that has their own stance in their ruling. But that is only the first page of this world. The second page colors the Ancient Gods of Corruption, Rage, Curse, Death and Hate. The third belongs the Seven Sins’ Incarnations that are ready to succeed the Ancient Gods. The Fourth is of the Witches who stand against all Gods equally. And the Final Page colors the [Immortals] or otherwise known as [Players] that will be summoned to bring Chaos to this world. A World that was meant to be destroyed. Such is the fate of the world of Zarraf, as powers beyond the realm of mortals threaten the dynamic equilibrium of their existence. In the end, the world was prophesied to be destroyed by one cause or another. Nothing could prevent looming destruction… Or so... It was supposed to happen… … Hey, Author here to give a quick glance at a couple of things that are normally asked. Harem? Yes Romance? Yes System? Obviously Smut? Oh yes! Adventure RPG? Yes. Power Creeping? Not really. Overpowered? Depends on how you see it Smart MC? I guess so. Wise MC? Yes Something you need to know before you read The MC has the ability to [Save] a point (there are some conditions), with which he can return in time. So basically, he is an immortal. Though that doesn’t make him invincible from the start, rather he grows by making correct choices. The World is dynamic and pretty much anything can happen anytime. (It’s just my way of saying that there will be twists… pretty much unexpected ones as well). And then there will be solutions to those unexpected situations as well, depending upon the absurdity of it. (I won’t have any more plot armor since I gave him a pretty big buff of immortality, so everything will be connected and won’t just happen by luck. Everything will be cleared by the end of an arc, so you need to be patient before deciding on it.) It has a mix of everything. Thriller, Adventure, Action, Smut, Romance, Slice of Life, etc. so there is that as well. ……. [Mature Warning: This Novel Contains R-18 Content!]
