Chapter 111: [Call of War!]
“Was this a part of your plan as well?” Nvida asked with a fury on her face.
‘Looking at the situation, something must have happened with Trisha. Let’s just hope it has happened after the reset and not before it,’ I thought as I carefully chose my next words.
“Can I see what happened first?” I asked with a serious face.
“Stop lying. It was your array that captured her first,” she spoke with a fury as she looked at me and I kept staring at her before asking again,
“Can I see what happened first?”
Silence covered the entire area as I looked at the world in front of me, turning dark, faster than usual. But Nvida and the elves were too concentrated on me to notice that, so for now I focused on things I can handle.
“Come with me,” Nvida spoke, making the elves shocked as one of them spoke out.
“But Lady Nvida-”
“SILENCE!!!!” Shouted Nvida with a frustrated face. And then she looked at me before speaking,” come.”
Following her under the silent gaze, I reached the lake. The lake, which was a scenic beauty of refreshment, was now dried out.
And in the middle of the lake, there lied that High Elf, sleeping in a deep slumber as thorn filled vines surrounded from all sides, caging her inside.
There were golden and dark lights floating in the entire area, showing a silent but deadly battle that occurred not too long ago.
“If you touch them, they will burst and kill everyone around,” Nvida spoke as she looked at me and I nodded before asking,
“When did it happen?”
“…” A silent but complex expression appeared on Nvida’s face as she looked at me before speaking.
“About 20 minutes ago. The array started attacking her from all sides with no pause. Yours as well as the forest’s.”
“An Array Master?” I asked, as that was the first thing that came into my mind. They are the only ones that can understand and breaking any array and use them as their own.
“Aren’t you one too?” Nvida asked, but I shook my head as I answered,” I am too far from that realm. I am just a little special.”
“You aren’t?” Nvida was surprised as she looked at me. It didn’t seem like she believed me even one bit.
The darkness was coming rather fast as the clouds now completely covered the sky. I could trace dark magic in the air as well now.
“I guess they are starting things one week earlier than the information we found out,” I spoke and Nvida too noticed the changes finally. Perhaps because her mind was preoccupied with all the tension, she forgot about this.
“What?!!!!!!” she shouted as she probably sensed something from the forest.
“Wesker, we must save Trisha or-” a worry filled plea resounded from Nvida’s mouth and I smiled, making her pause.
“Sure,” I answered as I created a flower in my hand.

[Hell’s Flower: White Iris!]
The flower appeared in my hand out of nowhere, just like usual. There was no chant, no words, nothing. In fact, the surrounding mana didn’t change one bit at all.
“How?” And Nvida was shocked.
It was understandable to an extent since her sensitive was quite high. And I never really used these powers in front of her, even as Morpheus. All spells that I used were conjured by me and not using the system.
“It’s just the beginning,” I spoke as I blew the flower towards Trisha, or more precisely, the mana that was binding her.
First were the glowing balls of light and darkness around the area that were rapidly absorbed by the flower. I saw the colour of the flower changing slightly to black and then turning darker with each absorption.
The flower flew towards the vines, absorbing them as well. It was a rather calm to be honest as we watched all the mana being sucked into the flower and the flower blooming more brightly with each passing second.
Some of my arrays that I placed in order to control the forest activated out of nowhere, throwing out mana bombs at the flower, but it was pretty useless. The flower simply absorbed them, too.
But this gave out the information that the Array master is still around us.
“Just what… exactly is that spell?” Nvida asked curiously as she looked at me. Though skeptical, she was now quite fascinated by the flower.
“A flower from hell,” I answered honestly, making her turn at me immediately. Her eyes widen in shock as she looked at me before looking at the flower again.
“You… just who are you both?” She asked as she looked at me with an extreme curiosity.
Though I just smiled at her before moving towards Trisha, who was slowly waking up.
-Whoosh!!
-Whoosh!!
-BOOM!!!
-BOOMMM!!!!
-WHOOSH!!!
-SLASH!!!
Though all of a sudden, the attacks at Trisha increased at an insane pace. They were precise and deadly, aimed at killing Trisha once and for all, but… it was futile again.
The flower simply absorbed them again.
‘Looks like even I underestimated what 1 million mana can amount to,’ I thought as I looked at the flower. It was half black now, and that means that it was only half filled, even after absorbing everything from the surrounding.
“Well… looks like I need to step up myself,” a voice echoed through the forest, as a man walked from the opposite side. Through these shadows he came, his face half burnt while the rest covered behind a mask.
He had red eyes, and his entire body was covered behind a black a robe. And wearing two grimoires and a pearl necklace, he walked towards us with a creepy smile plastered on his face.
“The Crazy Manipulator, huh? Didn’t think I would meet him of all the people so early,” I smiled as I finally got the chance to talk to him. Partially because he had a lot of information about the world secrets, especially given his antiques.
And partially because he was also the father of Leena and Anna. I was curious about his story as well.
“Wesker… run…. there are more of them… they have surrounded us,” Nvida spoke as she sensed more dark mages around us. Her eyes were filled with terror as she looked at the surrounding forest.
“BY THE GODS WE LIVE!!” Thee Crazy Manipulator shouted as he created an insanely big array in the air that covered the entire sky.
“BY THE GODS WE DIE!!” Another voice resounded in the air as the entire area was filled with dark mana, enough to make me and Nvida feel suffocated a little.
“AND THE GODS WILL BE OUR SALVATION!!!” A third voice was heard as the ground began glowing, and the trees started withering.
“AAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!” Nvida shouted as her entire body started crumbling in front of me.
“AAAAAA!!! SAAVEEEE MEEEEEEE!!!!!” She kept shouting and shouting, as she held her own neck and cried in front of me.
“AND THE WORLD WILL UNDERSTAND!!!” One more voice came from the area as the other mana thinned out and threads of dark mana formed as far as one can see.
The point to be noted was that the threads weren’t created out of an application of mana spell. They were pure mana condensations that became visible because of the high density.
‘Isn’t that a bit too much…? This is going to be a pain if it is like this,’ I thought as I saw the area turning even more dark and everything becoming much paler than before.
Wraiths and ghouls started flying around in the air as I just kept watching the numbers increasing. And as if to add a cherry on the top, I saw a barrier forming around the entire forest… and the city.
“You are still standing? Seems like you are much stronger than you look,” the Crazy Manipulator spoke as he looked at me with an interest.
The other dark mages also moved closer to me, as their face was covered but similar white mask as that of the Crazy Manipulator.
‘”I wanted to take more information, but it is finally time…” I spoke, making them a bit confused.
White Iris was now vibrant black now.
-BOOOM!!!!!!
