Chapter 118: [The Abandoned Village!]

And once again, I woke up in the storeroom of my shop.
The smell of the breakfast entered my nose, before I stretched a little. Recalling all the information that I have got from those people, I then stood up as I moved outside the storeroom.
Nvida, Trisha and the Dark Mages.
I have collected enough information from these people to formulate a definite plan, but then there was one more thing that I needed to look out for.
“Pour one for me too,” I spoke to Anna as she nodded and then began pouring.
I sat with them and began eating breakfast.
While eating, we talked about a bit of small things and after a bit of joking and laughing, I looked at them for a few moments before casually asking,
“Have you guys communicated with the witches yet?”
A sudden pause appeared on the face of Leena and Anna, before they looked at me. Though the pause vanished as both of them looked at me casually eating the bread.
“We tried reaching out to them, but they did not respond to us. Probably the rumor of our mother had already reached them,” Leena spoke sighing and I pondered before speaking,
“Is that so? Well. Then I have some news for you.”
They both looked at me curiously as I took another sip of the tea and began speaking,
“The witches will be participating in this madness as well.”
“?” Anna was confused.
“You mean this whole thing with the dark mages and the elves?” Leena understood what I was saying.
“Yeah.” I answered her.
“But what do they gain from that? Not like there is anything in this town, is it?” Leena spoke a bit confused as she observed my face.
“That is what I am trying to figure out, to be honest,” I said, making a troubled face before suddenly widening my eyes as if I realized something. Then, turning to the sisters, I asked in an excited tone,
“Can’t you both help me out in any way?!!”
Though Leena seemed rather bored by the idea as she said,” didn’t you hear what I just said? We were rejected by the witches to gain entry into the Witch Town.”
I looked at them with a rather mischievous smile as a certain idea appeared in my mind.
“What?” Leena asked while Anna kept munching on the bread as she stared at me.
“What if I say that I could help you gain entry into the Witch Town?” I asked as I looked at them. My eyes shined, as I was pretty sure that this idea would work.
And sure enough, both Leena and Anna looked at me with curiosity.
“Meet me at the entrance in about an hour,” I said as I moved out of the store in a hurry, not giving them enough time to think. Though as soon as I got out of the store, I hid myself using an array and then dashed towards the forest.
[One way Out!]
And using the increased dexterity, I removed most of the array within a swift manner.
‘I don’t know if it will help Trisha fight against that many dark mages, but I guess I should at least do this much for her,’ I thought as I began moving back to the town.
I did that partly because I don’t want my arrays to be a reason for her loss, and partly I wanted her to survive enough to give me time to check out the Witches.
Reaching back to the town, I saw Leena and Anna moving out of it before they talked with Herath.
And from that point onwards, kept walking behind them, following them step by step as I looked around the area where they were going.
They took their time and reached the very edge of the forest from where the next town was visible at a distance.
Though rather than getting out, they walked to the edge of the forest until they reached a certain deserted village.
The village had broken barns and burnt houses. And from the dried out dark red patches of blood, it seemed as if the village was massacred.
Truly an eerie atmosphere.
Anna and Leena walked step by step into the village until they reached a dried out well. They looked around the village before a confused expression appeared on their faces.
“You girls are here again?”
And not even a moment later, I saw two women walking out of a broken house.
One of them had black hair, while the other one had completely white. Their clothes matched their hair as they carried a grimoire each in their hands.
‘From the looks of it, these two witches are sisters as well,’ I thought as I observed the scene a bit more.
Their clothes were pretty revealing as well, as they wore a mini short dress that barely covered their body, and their walk, their booty shaking.. uff… that was lewd.
“How many times do we need to do this again?” the white-haired witch spoke with an irritated face as she looked at Anna and Leena.
Anna moved behind Leena with a scared face, while Leena moved in front, protecting her.
“Now Now, Tia. Don’t scare the kids. You both, what happened? Didn’t we explained everything last time and reached a mutual conclusion?” the black-haired witch spoke with a smile as she moved towards the kids.
Anna and Leena looked at each other before Anna spoke out,
“Friend sent. Said he would help.”
“Friend?” the black-haired witch was confused as she looked at the kids. There was little hesitation in their eyes as well.
“Don’t tell me you guided a human here?” Tia, the white-haired one, realized as she looked around with caution.
“Anna! Leena!” even the black-haired one was worried now as they realised it.
“No, we-” Leena wanted to speak, but the black-haired witch glared at her making her shut up. And then both the witches looked around the village with a cautious look.
[One Way Out!]
I then undid my disguise before walking towards the kids. Reaching the well behind Leena and Anna, I sat there revealing my real identity once the time of the skill was up.
“Come on, now. No need to be so tense,” I spoke, gathering the attention of everyone present there.
Anna and Leena turned first before their eyes looked at me in confusion. Those two sister witches narrowed their eyes as well, while their grimoires floated in the air beside them.
“Who are you?” Tia asked as she looked at me with a rather narrowed glare. Her eyes darted at me as if she wanted to kill me any moment now.
“Such hatred,” I mumbled as I looked at her before turning at the black-haired witch and asked,” I am here to confirm something. I promise I won’t cause any trouble. Will it be fine if I ask a few questions?”
“I asked… who are you?!” Tia spoke again, in a voice louder than before. She even took a step closer to me, but the black-haired witch stopped her as she kept analyzing me.
“Hmmm. I guess, it’s my bad. I should introduce myself first. I am-” I was going to tell them who am I but the black-haired witch spoke first,
“Adam. I was a little doubtful, but it really is you. The Demi-God Killer.”
‘I am getting more and more nicknames as time is passing, eh?’ I thought as I looked at them.
As my name was revealed, the others also realized that it was me. Esepecially Leena and Anna, who were beyond shocked right now.
“Why are you here?” the black-haired witch asked with her eyes narrowed still on me.
“Well. My brother asked me to help these kids out with something and also to find some information regarding you guys. Nothing really big but something about preventing a war between elves and dark mages,” I spoke as I looked at her.
Their eyes widened as they looked at each other for a brief moment.
It was at this moment that I began sensing more and more people around me. The number increased from 2 to 20 and then to 50 in an instant.
‘Seems like they gave out a distress call or something, huh?’
The number of witches surrounding us increased dramatically as I found them coming out of the houses, the barns and every possible building in the village.
And among those witches, there was a red dressed witch that seemed to lead the other witches. Walking in front, she slowly reached Tia and the black-haired witch and looked at me from top to bottom.
The red dressed witch had wavy blonde hair that reached below her waist and she wore a metallic armor over that red dress. That long sword she carried gave a fierce look in contrast to her innocent, sweet face.
“The Master Witch, Rosalyn, greets the Demi-God Killer, Adam,” she said as she looked at me.
