Reincarnated and Regressed Villain – Make heroines beg for forgiveness – Chapter 181

181 Chapter 181- Someone doing something somewhere 1

A few hours ago:

Thousands of miles away from Titanora, crossing through several land masses in the middle, existed a continent called Malevolia, appearing like a black dot surrounded by a white ring with four corners much thicker than others.

Inside the expanse known for its dark ominous aura, existed the capital city—a city cloaked in shadows yet bustling with life.

Passing through the city gates, towering obsidian spires greet back, their sleek, black surfaces gleaming faintly in the dim light.

The streets below are lined with ancient buildings built from the same dark stone, their facades adorned with intricate carvings that tell tales of both triumph and tragedy.

Triumph through the marvelous designs made by the best architects from the strongest races who were defeated at the hands of Malevolia.

And tragedy through the black color of these stones which appeared polished yet were painted with the blood of millions of demons who died while subduing those architects.

tap tap

Lanterns flicker dimly, casting feeble pools of light upon the cobblestone streets where hooded figures move with purposeful strides, their eyes gleaming with an otherworldly glow holding unending darkness.

Swish

Thick tendrils of smoke zigzag like snakes through the air, casting an eerie haze over the cityscape.

At the center of the city stands the grand citadel, a fortress of unfathomable darkness where the ruling demons hold court.

Its massive gates are adorned with twisted, horned sigils, warning all who approach of the power that lies within.

Shrouded in an intense pressure, the whole citadel was stretched until the point one’s eyes can see, spires piercing the dark clouds, a visible black dense Demonic aura surrounding its black walls.

But every vision and even the strongest of beings stop at this point, no one tried to look at what secrets held inside this place, due to either the power of mind corrupting its dense Demonic aura or the being inside it holds.

KRRRIIIIEEK!

CRUMBLE!

The huge gates slowly started to open, but the pace at which it slid proved the evidence of its humongous size, weight, and the individuals’ strength who were pushing it open.

Indeed, there wasn’t any ether or mana energy existing in this place, as if overwhelmed by the Demonic energy present inside, repelling any other energy from entering its domain.

“GRAAAAAAH! PUSH HARDER!”

The unison sound reverberated as the opening gate revealed several muscular figures, big and bulky with unexpectedly various skin tones, breaking the color theme of this whole dark continent.

These individuals, whose veins were visible on their bulky bodies, appeared like normal humans, yet their whole bodies seemed under intense pressure while pressing the gate with legs breaking the ground beneath, forcing the gate to slowly open with the force applied by dozens of such figures.

BAANG!

“GRAAAAAHHH!” Another sound of feet colliding with the ground, with two big hands pushing each of the gates, revealed a huge figure of a bull-like creature, tattered clothes, dark black skin with one horn broken, walking on two legs appeared.

It was a Minotaur.

CRUMBLE!

THUD!

Finally, the gates opened completely, revealing a huge army of more than ten thousand figures shrouded in a black aura, the whole place filled with dense aura and pressure emanating from their bodies.

“RAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGHHHH!”

A unison sound resonated from the demon army, instantly sending ripples through the air filled with dark aura, even trembling the walls that held their roots firmly under that pressure.

‘Fucking Debons,’ Belial muttered, looking down at the thousands of demons. His hand, covering his ears, felt dampness, evidence of blood trickling from them.

Standing at the topmost tower of the citadel, bearing the intense pressure of Demonic energy, surrounded by several smoke creatures flying around him in the dark background, he finally lowered his hands.

‘Bastards Debons and that Huban,’ Belial couldn’t believe his astral form was infused with something that even now corrupted his real devil body, making his mind snap and a killing aura rise as he remembered the pain he needed to went through few hours ago.

drip drip

Red blood trickled from his nose, his figure appearing small with black eyes accented with white striked pupils.

He brought his hand up to clear the blood from his nose—blood caused by the Grimoire’s affecting his body due to him cursing his master.

Naturally, a devil could form contracts and create a temporary physical body by absorbing dead bodies and souls, but in that form, their gender remained neutral until they returned to their real body.

Everything was very simple—they died in that temporary body and returned to their permanent body.

He had thought to kill himself to return from Titanora, but whenever he tried, the pain was so intense that it felt like his soul would die first.

Inevitably, he planned to do something with that human until the human himself proposed a simple deal or specifically assigned him a task.

‘Fucker, but why kill be?’ Bringing his hand near his neck, Belial vividly felt a sharp, suffocating sensation of some moment ago without even being able to see when that human slit his throat at that time.

“What are you doing here?”

‘?!’

“Huh, can’t I just roab around?” Hearing a voice from behind, recognizing its familiarity, Belial turned with his child body, gazing towards a figure adorned in a butler outfit looking back at him with narrowed gaze.

“And Observing the Demon Army which is about to depart for war, hiding your presence while appearing in that child body,” Looking down at the kid in front of him, the figure’s crimson-streaked pupils holding a golden dot, calmly stated while his face held coldness.

‘….’ Belial cursed the devil in front of him inwardly before lazily placing his hand behind his head and tilting his head lazily as he said, “I can also ask why you, instead of serving tea, are looking for be?”

“Master wants to meet you,” the figure stated calmly, eyes fixed on Belial’s eyes, both seemed to keep their guard up without making it appear obvious.

“Don’t care?” Belial scoffed, etching his ears with a small finger, feigning ignorance to the Devil’s words.

Swish

“Follow me,” the figure stated as his body slowly started to lean more specifically fall forward, hands folded behind as his body’s front turned downward before halting, standing perpendicularly on the spire.

“I will not—SWOOSH,” Belial rejected again but was met with an invisible cloud shrouding his body, several smoke-like snakes coiling around his child body, making any struggle futile.

“I didn’t ask you, we are going,” the figure took his first step, lifting towards the angle which was clearly defying gravity, walking downward as he moved without any problem, as if habitual.

“Fuck you, Balphas,” Belial, feeling his body levitating in the air, moving freely with the devil, feigned anger as he cursed aloud, trying to free himself.

“You still have that broken tongue,” Halting in his way, the figure turned towards the flying devil while standing atop the huge citadel’s spire vertically walking downward, tilting his head with a glint passing through those eyes as he stated, “It’s Malphas and don’t be an immature.”

‘….’ Belial, seeing that cold face filled with killing intent, lightened with dim moonlight, dark raven hair fluttering in that light, yet he seemed unfazed by that demonic presence.

WHOOSH

An intense pressure started to shroud his own body, eyes holding a visible killing intent.

In that moment, stopped between just those two dark dots, a voice reverberated from Belial’s mouth, added with a deep manly tone unlike his usual, filling the whole space with his words, “I’M NOT IMMATURE, I JUST ACT LIKE IT BECAUSE IT’S FUN FOR THE MOMENT.”

"So, Diana, what's your excuse for betraying me?" His amber glinted eyes bore into the woman with bloodied, broken blue hair, kneeling in complete disarray. "... you're evil." "Oh, so, looking out for all of you makes me evil?" The man narrowed his eyes, contemplating the echoes of protagonist halos and heroines' mentality, starkly real now. Coming from a world far removed from such grim reality, he had read about these personalities in novels, but experiencing their shortcomings firsthand was a different story. "How am I evil?" He looked down at his foot where a young man, limbless and crushed, lay in a state of complete brokenness, mustering the little strength he had left to utter some words. "... y.. you ba..stard, You killed millions." Hearing these words, the man's internal amusement grew at the absurdity of these hypocritical people. He had eradicated all the evil organizations within the Empire after ascending to his throne. Wars were waged to crush rebellious kingdoms that stood against his Empire, uniting the entire Heidal Continent under one flag—the Selvius Empire. He shifted his gaze towards another woman with pink hair, her body completely broken, supported by a rock to maintain a semblance of balance amidst the devastation. "Hmm, so what about you, Karina? Wasn't your family about to be executed by the Aidiac Royal family? Is it wrong for me to have intervened?" "You killed them without mercy, and although you saved my family, it was not worth it." "I just saved—" "It's bullshit. You could have solved everything peacefully without drawing so much blood." Hearing all this, the man began to understand why those novels depicted these people as hypocritical and low in intelligence. If he hadn't saved them, they would have suffered the most gruesome fate. Yet, despite being saved, these ungrateful individuals chose to blame him. The bitter irony of their ingratitude gnawed at him, leaving a bitter taste in his mouth. "Guess you all have the same reasons." The man looked towards the seven people, their disdainful gazes directed at him. He had only aimed to change their fates, to rescue some from slavery, others from crippling circumstances, and a few from inevitable betrayal. Yet, they all blamed him for saving them, unable to comprehend that he had severed the root causes that would have subjected them to excruciating suffering. "Hahaha." "Indeed, now I see." He now understood what those novels had tried to convey—'these idiots think this whole world works like they think it would.' 'System.........
