Reincarnated and Regressed Villain – Make heroines beg for forgiveness – Chapter 251

251 Chapter 251 - What a Coincidence does fate have some plans

“Tsk tsk, why is he taking so long?” As Belial gazed at the woman in a grey robe with perky, fluffy ears and nine tails, he couldn’t help but feel a wave of sadness and disappointment wash over him. Despite her regal appearance as she sat on a nearby chair with a composed posture, displaying her calm demeanor, he couldn’t shake the heavy feeling in his heart after seeing how strong the old man who claimed to be Ancestor was.

“Was the Celestial Phoenix Order’s matriarch’s granddaughter’s friend the one who fought with the flagbearer few months ago? ” Seated with her eyes shut, grasping the long sheathed katana blade with both hands, Iliantara asked. Her words were directed towards the crowd of men, among whom only three seemed unscathed enough to bow, while the rest lay limbless and scattered on the ground, either as flesh limbs or corpses.

The entire hall was crowded with chairs and a large white fox emblem on the wall, symbolizing the rich history of the Jun family. However, this history was now coming to an abrupt end as three mysterious figures recently arrived in upper town and were brought into the hall for punishment.

It soon became evident that this entire situation was orchestrated by the devil who had been accompanying them to intentionally lure Elders inside the main palace, seeking to eliminate the Jun family once and for all.

With seventeen elders residing within the main palace, there was no concern or interest in the presence of just three weak individuals.

Among them was a beast kin woman reminiscent of the legendary Nine Tail Fox from their ancient history books, a demon with a broken tongue that struggled to speak clearly, and a human with orange eyes exuding a demonic aura.

The Elders of the Jun family were called upon to give their judgement on three unique pairs of individuals. However, their efforts were in vain as the Devil provoked the patriarch, leading him to confront the two seemingly ordinary figures who were in the company of the Devil but appeared weak due to the absence of Qi energy.

However, it was a one-sided battle.

Twelve elders were each met their ends one by one at the hands of a woman and a man, who seemed like devils. The remaining elders were humbled by the awakening of their ancestor from his sleep, giving them hope to survive.

Kriieeekkkk!

The doors of the hallroom, tightly shut by the ancestor who locked it from outside while declaring how he would return after dealing with the human on the demonic path, suddenly swung open with a loud and sharp sound. All the remaining elders turned their attention toward the door.

‘!’

“A-ancestor!?” Everyone’s eyes widened as they saw a completely black humanoid figure holding a blood-drenched head moving towards them. The figure then threw the object on the floor, and it rolled freely before crashing into an Elder, whose body froze as they identified the ball as nothing but the head of their ancestor.

“Was he the strongest you have?” Suddenly, a booming voice echoed throughout the hall room, causing all the elders to turn their gazes towards a humanoid figure. As the black liquid-like substance around the figure dissipated, a man’s face with orange eyes, ear pins, and a calm, frown was revealed. He remarked, “He can’t even control his own space wrap or teleportation and died. Laughable.”

“Ahh? H-he killed the Ancestor!” The elders seemed to lose their sanity when they saw the severed head of their ancestor, who was considered one of the strongest individuals in Upper Town due to being one of the few to reach the Body Integration Realm.

“Shut up. Didn’t I tell you? He died on his own.” Lucas scratched his head, feeling irritated after battling for two straight hours at night against someone he found to be strong but stupid. The so-called Ancestor used some form of space teleportation to disappear from Upper Town, but after sometime his head fell from the sky as if it had been teleported without a body.

So, Lucas only had his head and didn’t even know where his body went.

“You liar, monsters!” Finally, the patriarch lost his mind and cried out loudly, lunging towards Lucas with a sword materializing as an enraged gaze showed his anger. He shouted as he arrived near Lucas and swung his sword, “Just drop dead, you bastard!”

Skhlct!

The sound of flesh tearing reverberated throughout the hall, causing everyone’s eyes to widen. Even Belial covered his face with both hands, peeking through the gap of his fingers as his hidden smile widened until it reached his eyes.

“Cough! Khwackk!, Urghh” The head of the Jun clan drifted in the air, held up by a lengthy katana piercing through his stomach. He gazed at the woman before him, her eyes as swift as a swallow and as orange as amber. With two ebony furry ears perked and nine black frosty tails swaying behind her, she exuded a chilling aura.

“Enough of this. Can you now tell us the way to enter the Main peak of the Celestial Phoenix Order?” Iliantra, showing no concern for the old man hanging on her sword which she held with one hand, looked towards the remaining elders who were sobbing with tears and snots streaming down their faces in utter fear.

Both Ancestor and patriarch of Jun family had been killed by these two individuals.

“Please have mercy on the Jun Family,” an elder placed his hand on the floor and pushed himself back on the bloody surface with fear, as he trembled and begged for mercy.

“I repeat, how can we enter the Celestial Phoenix Order’s main city?” Iliantra wanted to remain as hidden as possible and not get detected as a Flagbearer.

She knew well about how they would be overwhelmed by the army of the Jade Dominion, which was why she was following the path of a devil they had met just a few months ago to get here.

The Devil revealed to them the romantic involvement of Edward Abernathy with Goblins and some details about the demon continent. However, it seemed that the Devil had lost his memories because he claimed not to remember anyone.

Iliantra recognized this as a blatant lie, but she chose not to confront him and just use him.

“Haah, you can enter using the Trial of the Immortal Phoenix,” one of the Elders revealed, his mind finally giving up as he fell to the floor. With only the ceiling in his view, he mumbled, “It’s a disciple selection trial for….”

“We have arrived, Young Master,” Number 1 said as he and the others knelt in front of Ryuk. They were now dressed in high-quality servant clothing, appearing to be servants of a wealthy young master rather than their usual robber attire.

“Let’s go,” Ryuk turned towards the three horses before approaching them. Esme moved beside him, followed by four other men. Ryuk halted near the horses before adding, “Esme, you can rest but teleport us as far as you can towards the Upper Town.”

“I understand,” Esme nodded, not asking further, as she placed her hand on a horse, while four men grabbed the other horses. Due to all of their reins being bound together, a connection was established for Esme to teleport everyone.

But before they could disappear from there, Bonebreaker, slightly hesitant yet intrigued, asked while holding rein of a horse, “Young Master, exactly where are we going?”

Swish

The breeze formed as all of their bodies slowly started to disappear. Ryuk glanced towards the direction they needed to head and replied in a fading tone, “We will be entering the Trial of the Immortal Phoenix….”

I don’t doubt my reader’s intelligence, but still: This Ancestor tried to escape from Lucas and mistakenly arrived in Lower Town where, upon seeing the same orange eyes, he revealed his hatred. The system detected it, causing Ryuk to fuck the old man. In this situation, Lucas only got his head and about the remaining body, it’s a spoiler, haha

"So, Diana, what's your excuse for betraying me?" His amber glinted eyes bore into the woman with bloodied, broken blue hair, kneeling in complete disarray. "... you're evil." "Oh, so, looking out for all of you makes me evil?" The man narrowed his eyes, contemplating the echoes of protagonist halos and heroines' mentality, starkly real now. Coming from a world far removed from such grim reality, he had read about these personalities in novels, but experiencing their shortcomings firsthand was a different story. "How am I evil?" He looked down at his foot where a young man, limbless and crushed, lay in a state of complete brokenness, mustering the little strength he had left to utter some words. "... y.. you ba..stard, You killed millions." Hearing these words, the man's internal amusement grew at the absurdity of these hypocritical people. He had eradicated all the evil organizations within the Empire after ascending to his throne. Wars were waged to crush rebellious kingdoms that stood against his Empire, uniting the entire Heidal Continent under one flag—the Selvius Empire. He shifted his gaze towards another woman with pink hair, her body completely broken, supported by a rock to maintain a semblance of balance amidst the devastation. "Hmm, so what about you, Karina? Wasn't your family about to be executed by the Aidiac Royal family? Is it wrong for me to have intervened?" "You killed them without mercy, and although you saved my family, it was not worth it." "I just saved—" "It's bullshit. You could have solved everything peacefully without drawing so much blood." Hearing all this, the man began to understand why those novels depicted these people as hypocritical and low in intelligence. If he hadn't saved them, they would have suffered the most gruesome fate. Yet, despite being saved, these ungrateful individuals chose to blame him. The bitter irony of their ingratitude gnawed at him, leaving a bitter taste in his mouth. "Guess you all have the same reasons." The man looked towards the seven people, their disdainful gazes directed at him. He had only aimed to change their fates, to rescue some from slavery, others from crippling circumstances, and a few from inevitable betrayal. Yet, they all blamed him for saving them, unable to comprehend that he had severed the root causes that would have subjected them to excruciating suffering. "Hahaha." "Indeed, now I see." He now understood what those novels had tried to convey—'these idiots think this whole world works like they think it would.' 'System.........
