Reincarnated and Regressed Villain – Make heroines beg for forgiveness – Chapter 252

252 Chapter 252- Drishti Devereauxs game

Far from the Jade Dominion which was about to undergo significant changes, were five battleships resting on a land expanse, their immense firepower enough to intimidate the entire region. As they loomed over the land, they cast a large shadow, making the natural creatures below appear minuscule, like ants.

All five battleships were cloaked in black, their engines eerily silent and at rest. Despite their massive size, there was not a single sound emanating from them.

A visible haze surrounded the ships, a testament to their combined strength. This power far exceeded that of any mid-level continent and was enough to decimate several high-level continents like Jade Dominion in a single day, should they launch a full-fledged attack.

But fading the firepower of these behemoths were several small ant-like figures standing surrounding the ships or within it.

The people standing nearby appeared minuscule in comparison, their trench coats billowing in the breeze, with each of them having one thing in common, being their dress and finally the eye color which contained an orange hue within them.

Inside the battleships, standing at the front of others, the large glass window in front revealed the main control center of the ship but soon as if the glass started to melt, two figures passed through the window and landed outside the ship.

“Lady Drishti, we should hurry up to help Liege,” Regina landed on the ground and turned her gaze towards a woman standing beside her. She had observed the events that took place in the lower town, where a small battle had occurred. She also sensed a sharp sword intent, similar to that of her Liege.

“Heh? Isn’t he there to train?” Reverted the voice sourced from the woman who placed her fingers over her lips and curled them in a smile as she had seen everything and found it all becoming more interesting for her after she slightly interfered here and there.

‘Is she up to something?’, Regina narrowed her gaze as she noticed that subtle amusement in Drishti’s tone and that curved smile showing her usual signal that Regina was well aware of, causing her to glance in the direction of Jade Dominion which was already too far for anyone to see yet her eyes tearing through all the obstacles, crossing the thousand miles of the ocean between, landed on a black-robed man who with a few horses just disappeared from her sight.

‘Where is Liege going?’ Regina had kept her eyes on Esme since the moment she left, hoping to intervene if she encountered any problems. In doing so, she witnessed many things, from the blind woman whom her Liege met to the young man whom he killed.

But along the way, she found one thing more confusing was how someone from the Upper town did a mistake and opened a portal near Ryuk out of all lower town places.

Regina found it more than just a simple coincidence.

Exactly, given her strength which was at the peak of Legendary level, added with her sword prowess, she was able to utilize her senses much more strongly than Ryuk who had just entered that level. Technically, the strength at which one observes the surrounding world depended on what level of mana they can burn to expand their range.

When someone of a certain level attempted to surveil someone, they had to use their body’s mana to emit from their body and expand until that area. However, this would soon exhaust their mana reserves, leaving those with lower mana levels unable to see far away.

But for monsters, this was simply draining a lake amount of water from their Ocean like reservoirs.

So, Regina was able to see through all and watch till only the Lower town due to her strength. Yet, it was burning a sufficient amount of energy while causing her vision to be blurred.

And now that she lost sight of her Liege, she needed to leave this place after parking their ships and head towards Jade Dominion.

“No one is leaving from here,” Drishti ordered as she walked towards the nearby open field where the ground, almost as if reality had been altered, began to rise before transforming into a throne of rocks. She took a seat with her legs folded and her elbows resting on the armrests.

“Everyone, let’s leave,” Regina, seeing her such actions, felt something was amiss here, knowing well how this woman can’t sit idle on a barren land and get bored. Regina instantly ordered the nearby men who were observing everything from above and stood on guard as their bodies started to vanish and arrived behind Regina.

“As you order, Commander,” all of the men, appearing to be more than 100, instantly filled the place, with each of their bodies giving away a very thick and dense aura resonating with nearby mana with their eyes glancing between Drishti and Regina.

Due to all of them realizing the situation where knowing about Drishti’s personality, it wasn’t hard if a battle occurred, they were on guard while suppressing their energy as much possible to save it for any long battle.

Even though each of them has enough mana to power a single battleship for a week, they knew that this woman had even more.

“Regina, Vampires will soon attack Jade Dominion,” Drishti closed her eyes as she revealed in a soothing tone, as she already noticed all the eyes she was getting from all of these Devereaux members who were just going to follow Regina’s orders instead of hers.

Of course, not like Drishti felt threatened by any of them, but it would be a hassle if all of them attacked her considering the fact that she had already lost a whole level due to her fight with Ryuk initially.

‘?!’

“And you want us to stay here without moving?” Regina’s hand moved towards her sword hilt, feeling somewhat suspicious of this woman who could do anything to have entertainment had now appeared uncaring and prepared to get bored by just lazily sitting here.

“Yes, rest here and let me see something fun,” Drishti glanced in the direction where a small dot-like thing appeared far away inside the ocean, specifically the Jade Dominion which was that distant yet she appeared satisfied for some reason as if she was soon going to see something interesting.

“I knew it, we will leave,” Regina hearing her words understood that this time again Drishti was going to do something prompting her and all the Devereaux members to slightly lean as the ground beneath instantly crumbled, turned into small pieces as they tried to take a leap in unison causing all the nearby area around the miles to plummet under a meter in depth due to gathered force.

“But will you all be able to hold Bloodmoon alone?” Drishti looked towards the hundreds of veterans who could overpower her instantly if she fought using her present strength, which wasn’t necessary given the fact that these all were smart enough to understand things and not act stupidly, she just needed to tell them a few pieces of information.

“What? Bloodmoon? Is monarch of blood also arriving?” Regina paused suddenly hearing a name which was unexpected in such a situation, causing all of the Devereaux soldiers to also follow her actions, leading to a small earthquake hitting the whole landmass due to the backlash of their compressed energy they gathered to jump sent back into the ground.

"So, Diana, what's your excuse for betraying me?" His amber glinted eyes bore into the woman with bloodied, broken blue hair, kneeling in complete disarray. "... you're evil." "Oh, so, looking out for all of you makes me evil?" The man narrowed his eyes, contemplating the echoes of protagonist halos and heroines' mentality, starkly real now. Coming from a world far removed from such grim reality, he had read about these personalities in novels, but experiencing their shortcomings firsthand was a different story. "How am I evil?" He looked down at his foot where a young man, limbless and crushed, lay in a state of complete brokenness, mustering the little strength he had left to utter some words. "... y.. you ba..stard, You killed millions." Hearing these words, the man's internal amusement grew at the absurdity of these hypocritical people. He had eradicated all the evil organizations within the Empire after ascending to his throne. Wars were waged to crush rebellious kingdoms that stood against his Empire, uniting the entire Heidal Continent under one flag—the Selvius Empire. He shifted his gaze towards another woman with pink hair, her body completely broken, supported by a rock to maintain a semblance of balance amidst the devastation. "Hmm, so what about you, Karina? Wasn't your family about to be executed by the Aidiac Royal family? Is it wrong for me to have intervened?" "You killed them without mercy, and although you saved my family, it was not worth it." "I just saved—" "It's bullshit. You could have solved everything peacefully without drawing so much blood." Hearing all this, the man began to understand why those novels depicted these people as hypocritical and low in intelligence. If he hadn't saved them, they would have suffered the most gruesome fate. Yet, despite being saved, these ungrateful individuals chose to blame him. The bitter irony of their ingratitude gnawed at him, leaving a bitter taste in his mouth. "Guess you all have the same reasons." The man looked towards the seven people, their disdainful gazes directed at him. He had only aimed to change their fates, to rescue some from slavery, others from crippling circumstances, and a few from inevitable betrayal. Yet, they all blamed him for saving them, unable to comprehend that he had severed the root causes that would have subjected them to excruciating suffering. "Hahaha." "Indeed, now I see." He now understood what those novels had tried to convey—'these idiots think this whole world works like they think it would.' 'System.........
