Reincarnated and Regressed Villain – Make heroines beg for forgiveness – Chapter 85

85 Chapter 85- EatingDrinking Goblins Shit

“Welcome to our house, Young Master Ryuk.”

“Let’s have tea, shall we?” Giving some time for Mia to analyze the body and give him a list of items that she needs, Ryuk moved out of the room, leaving Dreck perplexed.

“But I can tell the servants to bring it here,” he proposed, looking towards the young man with anticipation, his eyes showing reluctance to leave this place.

“Follow me, Dreck, it’s important.” Not wanting to witness their familial drama again, Ryuk called out while already ten steps away from him.

With a downward face, Dreck followed behind him, both exiting through the long hallway and arriving at the guest room at the end of the way.

Instead of taking a seat on the sofa, unlike Dreck who sat instantly, Ryuk moved towards the balcony, which was not far away from the seating area, gazing towards the vast expanse filled with a crowd.

Looking at several people outside and narrowing his gaze, Ryuk inquired, “Why are there so many people outside this mansion?”

He could see a crowd of more than a hundred people filling up the whole place, and somewhat seeing the Crawfords at the front, he could understand that some of them belonged to their territory.

“Woo-Hoo, Young Master! You made shit out of the Anzac!” One of the people within the crowd, remembering the previous night’s battle, couldn’t contain his excitement and shouted out.

“Young Master, please come to our territory.” Noah, standing among the crowd, called out to the young man, patiently waiting for Ryuk, who finally wake up.

“Young Master, yesterday your condition wasn’t good. Just tell us, we will break in.” One of the women among the crowd spoke out her intentions.

‘So, this guy forcefully brought me here.’ Seeing all of them like this, Ryuk understood the reason for him being here, but one doubt remained.

Why were all these people acting so violently to bring him?

Of course, he understood the Crawfords being on his side, but there were a few branch families mixed in the crowd, meaning everyone he met yesterday was here.

And seeing that energy within them, it definitely wasn’t for some savior, and Ryuk was not naive enough to think that saving them for one time would make them this loyal.

“Why did you bring me here, Dreck?”

“It was Mia’s Request.”

“And why are these people acting so loyal?” Slowly turning his gaze towards Dreck, who was ordering maids to bring something to drink.

“This is due to Lady Drishti’s announcement yesterday.” Turning his gaze towards Ryuk, Dreck informed before turning back to give instructions to the maid. “Oh, also add that centipede’s extract in it.”

“Lady Drishti?” Not knowing about the person just mentioned and feeling frustrated due to Dreck not telling everything in one go, Ryuk stated, “Tell me exactly what happened the previous night, Dreck.”

“Just a minute, Young Master, you would like it.” Gesturing for Ryuk to halt, Dreck continued with his instructions. “Also, add a piece of leaf from the World Tree we received from the Elves, and, Young Master, do you want anything else in the tea?”

‘Should I kill him?’ Already feeling frustrated, Ryuk’s mind snapped, and in irritation, he uttered, “Nothing much, just add some Goblin shit in it.”

“Oh, I forgot you were from a backward continent, Hahaha.” Dreck burst into laughter seeing the young man’s eating habits, adding, “Young Master, not even Swinetusks eat that shit, pffft.”

“Maid, bring me the same tea with Goblin shit in it, do it within ten minutes.” Leaving the balcony, Ryuk made his way inside the room, while the maid professionally bowed before leaving to bring the same tea.

“Shhhglglgglblblblb….S-t–o-p i-t!” Dreck’s broken scream emerged from the depths of his lungs as his head was forcibly held under a cup of tea, overflowing with each rejection his mouth spat out.

Ryuk’s firm grip held Dreck’s head down, submerging it in the amethyst-colored tea—The liquid bubbled like a miniature volcanic eruption, relentlessly pouring into Dreck’s mouth.

…..

“Haa…..Haaa…..I-I drank Goblin’s shit.” Seating on the sofa with his gasping breath, Dreck’s claws gripping his skin while stretching enough for his eyes to widen, remembering the nightmare that passed through him a moment ago.

“Now, tell me everything.” Ryuk folded his hands with a calm gaze, observing Dreck, who was seated with the maid cleaning the tea remains fallen on the table, scattered due to the struggle.

“…” Not wanting to speak anything he lifted his gaze, but in his sight, a kettle also fell, causing him to prioritize dodging the object from pouring down his mouth. “The present Head of the Family has two wives. The first one is Lady Deventhia, who is also the mother of Lady Alisia, Lady Angelica, and Lady Veronica.”

Slowly clearing his mouth with a cloth, he added, “And the second wife is Lady Drishti, of course, in name only.”

Ryuk narrowed his gaze, contemplating the meaning behind those words in name only, before Dreck, noticing his expression, swiftly started to give a proper explanation.

“Exactly, Lady Drishti holds most of the influence and wealth on Ardoros, meaning except Lady Veronica, no one can compete with her.” Dreck informed, adding further as he continued, “But, there is a well-known fact about Lady Drishti, which is her excessive interest.”

“Whenever she gets interested in anything, mostly in something which is incomprehensible from her perspective, she goes all out to know everything about that thing, even at the cost of breaking it.” Dreck explained about the excessive tendencies of Lady Drishti while also mentioning the limits she could go to achieve it.

“Don’t tell me, she married him because of her curiosity in something?” Ryuk understood, at least from all the present information, that the reason for marrying the Head of the Devereaux family was nothing but mere interest in something, maybe power?

“Exactly, she was curious to know about how it feels to rule over one of the world’s strongest continents’ family.” Halting in his path, Dreck further revealed something unbelievable, “And to achieve that, she waged a war against the main family some three hundred years ago, while every Flagbearer was outside the continent.”

“When all five remaining Flagbearers arrived back, by then, Lady Drishti had lost interest in battles. So she just let the strongest among them hold the Head seat and married him, only because if in the future she got her interest back to rule.”

‘Was that woman,’ hearing about the personality description, linking with his sudden awakening yesterday and an army arriving instantly.

His ability to hide his presence completely, his strength to nullify someone’s energy, and then, there was his survival without becoming crippled after going against the Bloodline.

If it was to arouse someone’s curiosity, wasn’t he the most eligible one inside the whole Ardoros right now?

‘No, their intentions were not to kill me.’ His mind speculated several things, among which one seemed the most feasible.

What if the whole army of 200 men and four battleships were there just to let him go all out?

What if even the poison that was allowed into his potion was just to check his immunity?

Everything started to make more sense; after all, how could someone bring a whole small division of powerhouses to kill him within an hour of his awakening?

“Dreck, tell me, who was that woman at the end of the battle?” Ryuk’s gaze turned cold, understanding that all this mess was just created to fulfill someone’s interest.

“T-that was indeed Lady Drishti herself.”

"So, Diana, what's your excuse for betraying me?" His amber glinted eyes bore into the woman with bloodied, broken blue hair, kneeling in complete disarray. "... you're evil." "Oh, so, looking out for all of you makes me evil?" The man narrowed his eyes, contemplating the echoes of protagonist halos and heroines' mentality, starkly real now. Coming from a world far removed from such grim reality, he had read about these personalities in novels, but experiencing their shortcomings firsthand was a different story. "How am I evil?" He looked down at his foot where a young man, limbless and crushed, lay in a state of complete brokenness, mustering the little strength he had left to utter some words. "... y.. you ba..stard, You killed millions." Hearing these words, the man's internal amusement grew at the absurdity of these hypocritical people. He had eradicated all the evil organizations within the Empire after ascending to his throne. Wars were waged to crush rebellious kingdoms that stood against his Empire, uniting the entire Heidal Continent under one flag—the Selvius Empire. He shifted his gaze towards another woman with pink hair, her body completely broken, supported by a rock to maintain a semblance of balance amidst the devastation. "Hmm, so what about you, Karina? Wasn't your family about to be executed by the Aidiac Royal family? Is it wrong for me to have intervened?" "You killed them without mercy, and although you saved my family, it was not worth it." "I just saved—" "It's bullshit. You could have solved everything peacefully without drawing so much blood." Hearing all this, the man began to understand why those novels depicted these people as hypocritical and low in intelligence. If he hadn't saved them, they would have suffered the most gruesome fate. Yet, despite being saved, these ungrateful individuals chose to blame him. The bitter irony of their ingratitude gnawed at him, leaving a bitter taste in his mouth. "Guess you all have the same reasons." The man looked towards the seven people, their disdainful gazes directed at him. He had only aimed to change their fates, to rescue some from slavery, others from crippling circumstances, and a few from inevitable betrayal. Yet, they all blamed him for saving them, unable to comprehend that he had severed the root causes that would have subjected them to excruciating suffering. "Hahaha." "Indeed, now I see." He now understood what those novels had tried to convey—'these idiots think this whole world works like they think it would.' 'System.........
