Reincarnated as an Energy with a System – Chapter 1356

Destination

Chapter 1356: Destination

Ning’s new idea surprisingly worked. The idea was a simple one too.

Why would he bother making any modifications to the massive ship when he could become the ship itself?

With a simple body transfer, Ning became a massive ship, thanks to its seamless body making the entire ship just one thing. He left his body back in the engine room and maneuvered himself as the ship.

He slowly increased the ship’s speed through space until it reached as fast as he could possibly move through space. The speed went a little above half the speed of light.

While the people on the ship had lost the time dilation, the new speed Ning brought the ship up to would help them so that they wouldn’t have to spend an obscene number of years to get to their next planet.

Speaking of which, Ning had now wanted to check where they were heading.

“Is it a habitable planet?” Ning asked the system. “Can these people live there?”

Ning paused for a moment. “What? Humans already live there? Farhalys is taking them to a planet where there are already humans?”

Now that Ning thought about it, that was perhaps the best thing to do here. There weren’t many people here, to begin with, so sending them to a place where there were already people living was the best approach.

“I should have thought of that,” Ning said. “Well, I could have sent them to Earth too, but here I am wasting my time. Is there a way to make this journey have some fruit in return? How far is the next constellation from this planet?”

Ning nearly thought his system was joking with him. “What? There’s a Constellation on that planet? Who?”

“Farhalys is taking these people to a land where another Constellation rules? Why?” Ning couldn’t think of a reason that made immediate sense. “Does he know this is the case? He should know, right?

“At least that was the plan, right?” Ning said. “But since he was going to die, he will never make it to that planet.”

Ning thought about a few more things before a question came up. “How is this Indebiss? Any chance he’s good too?” he asked.

“Isn’t he just farming perception at that point?” Ning asked. “That is much better than what the others do with creating demons to destroy the world to make them submit to them. Still, if it is a tyrannical rule, then it cannot be that good.”

“For now, give me the flight path to this planet,” Ning asked. An astral chart unfolded in front of his vision, which located him and every other star.

The chart moved and a distant star came into view, where it zoomed to show a large sun with 5 planets surrounding it.

The first planet was too small, and the last 2 were gas giants. Only the second and third planets were regular-sized, and of them only the second one had life.

Ning was about to trace a path to the planet when he noticed something incredibly weird about the planet. He kept watching for a few more seconds to figure out if he was seeing things right.

“System… is this planet spinning vertically and not horizontally?” Ning asked. “Am I seeing it correctly?”

“Does this mean this planet is tidally locked?”

“What the hell? I’ve never seen such a planet host life before. How are humans even living there?”

“I… see,” Ning said, looking at the image of the planet. “That means only… what? 50% of the entire planet is hospitable for life?”

<43.44%>

“That is including the oceans, right?” Ning asked.

“Good,” Ning said. “Alright, let’s plot a course for this planet then. Avoid everything dangerous for the ship.”

A simple green line appeared in front of Ning’s vision, so he slowly shifted his body, the ship, in that direction. He did it very slowly, and after nearly 10 minutes, he finally managed to enter the proper path.

“Alright, done!” Ning said. “How much time before we arrive?”

“That’s… somehow a lot more and a lot less than what I was expecting. Good job.”

Ning returned back to his human body and left the engine room to go talk to Farhalys who had long since been done with the meeting.

Ning arrived and explained the situation.

“It will take us all 27 more months. If you do not have enough food for all of these people for that many more months, I can make some,” Ning said.

Farhalys gave a relieved smile. “Thank you.”
